16:41: One thing about the Emperor, at least while he still walked, was that he appeared to each of his sons (and propably anyone else) in a way that best fits to their perceptions. This was partially adjusting his behavior, but to a large part psychic his psychic power which the Emperor might not even be able to control. To Vulcan he appeared as an honourful competitor, he stood his ground against Leman Russ in an eating plus binge drinking competition (!), to Fulgrim every word he spoke was multi-layered poetry, and so on. It is no wonder that he calls Guilliman, the master of strategy and logistics, his most favourite toy, because that is how Guilliman most easily handles human interaction (despite being a more complex character than that). What the Emperor _actually_ thinks about his sons is unknown and unknowable.

Im so glad I stumbled on this video, as an ultramarines fan, thank you so much! You clarified and explained some part of the lore that I was having a hard time understanding 👏
That's not what a gene-seed is. A gene-seed is a primary cell, from which the 20 (22 now) organs of the Space Marines are grown, prior to the implantation into the recruit during the training process. During their lives, the Space Marines produce more gene-seed within 2 specialized organs and are harvested either every 10 years or after death and in doing so the chapter can continue producing more organs to implant into future recruits.
Regarding to Tyranids and Zerg similarities. Both are copied from bugs from Starship Troopers (the book more precisely in case of W40k, book and possibly to some degree movie in case of Zerg). And after Starcraft's success Tyranids had their models (and I think lore as well) refreshed making them way too similar. In similar way, if my memory serves me correctly, Cadian regiments got new models after movie that are similar to Mobile Infantry. If there're 3 things both GW and Blizzard are masters at, they're: borrowing homework and "changing it a little", retcons and being bad at numbers.
That sounds like on of those million made up myths and hearsays based on hearsays based on someones visions. As the Bugs (pseudo arachnids in the book) from Starship Troopers have literally nothing in common with the Nids or the Zerg in any regard what so ever. From apperance, Nids and Zerg being pseudo insectoid reptiles, with the Star Ship troopers ones being larger spiders, if weird looking ones. to technology, both Nids and Zerg deploy soley organic weapons, were as the pseudo arachnids use actuall technology like space ships and direct energy weapons. As for the models. Tyranids 2nd ED (1995) looked way more similiar to Star Craft 1 (1998) than the 3rd ED models (2001). Infact the Zergs SC1 color palete is virtually identical to the Nids ones, while the refresh range would have been already way into production when SC1 was released ( since GW is extremly slow intentionally with their editions ) Double so ironically the Star Craft 2 Zerg art looks inturn way more similiar to the post 3rd ED nids. Cadians arent even remotly based on Starship Troopers either. As the movie was released in 1997 with the first Cadian range being released in 1995 and the Cadian refresh being released in 2003. Closest release would have been the first iteration of the Stormtroopers, but they have , safe for some texture, no similiarities to each other.
I don’t know how else to say this, but you did an incredible job with this video. I’m a lore reader myself and this is an excellent jump into the lore of the series. Also using the models of the actual tabletop game is a great way to show off the look of the franchise while differentiating yourself from the many other channels that do 40k content on TH-cam.
I mean really primaris were created with separate rules to force everyone who owned a space marine army (half the player base) to buy a whole new space marine army. But yeah. Other than that everything was spot on
My dude has only been here since 2023, only released 3 videos, and he's already got a unique presentation style that makes him stand apart the shadow of the OG/iconic 40k TH-camrs like Arch (love or hate him, he was the first big 40k lore guy on the platform and has an entertaining presentation. Granted, his humor maybe an acquired taste), Luetin09 (do you want _long_ videos that are almost dissertations on lore?), 40kTheories (what it says on the tin), etc, etc. I tip my hat to you Platinum Lore, and will be following your career with great interest.

01:20 did you say TWENTY-ONE sons? *puts in anonymous call to The Inquisition*
Alpharius and Omegon, the 20th (and 21st) sons are twins.
@@kindlesstraitor55872 were lost to time and space
@@kindlesstraitor5587I think the guy was making a joke about him acknowledging the forgotten and the purged
well done @@zomblesallegoy got the joke
Also remember there are officially only 9 primarchs, the 9 traitors are demons they found somewhere in space lol
Also known as Girlyman's boys.

Literally the best made warhammer lore content I’ve seen. A lot of effort went into the visuals so it’s one of the first lore videos I actually watch instead of just listening to. Thanks platinum excited for the channel
Ultramarines? more like ultra-glorified blueberries with the mary-est suest of a leader ever known in the grimdark future.
Imperial guard forever
Geen seed is the general term for all the organs that neophytes receive that turn them into astardies

13:29 😂😂 khorne dont give a crap
11:27 ALIEN BEANS! This man knows what he's talking about 👏👏👏
I never played WOW in my life a single day, but got completely immersed in that universe due to Platinum without even playing. I am so happy seeing him coming over the Warhammer Universe I actually know something about. Mad respect.
I can’t tell if this guy is making a mistake or is satire. Either way this ain’t WOW this is warhammer 40k
I said I love the guy for getting me into wow universe, which I had no idea about. but am Happy seeing him in Warhammer universe, which I know already about@@michealsoh8432
at this point robo man just want to toss the whole Imperium to the lion and get a nice vacation for few
Well, with Roberta Girlieman & The Smurfs, defending the 500 worlds of Ultramar was there main mission. Obviously crusading against the Emporer's many enemies, but Ultramar was their base of operations.
Dude when he said ‘skulls for the skull throne!’ My butchers nails started tingling 😭
I really appreciate that you put subtitles in these videos.
I just showed this to my dad to give him a tl;dr on why I'm spending so much money on these. He was upset because brother against brother is sacrilege, but thought it was cool because he's a metal head.
I don't want to be the "um actually" guy but Omegon is not turned in to the deamon, he's missing.
I am Alpharius
OR IS HE?
This is a lie, I am alpharius
He died
This comment is a lie
2:23 the typo "huamnity" made me double check xD
I LOVE YOUR STORY TELLING, it really brings to life the stories im to lazy to read thank you so much
'motherless bastard" that got me 💀
Amazing work, Platinum. I hope this new channel will grow and prosper, there is so much editing and work going into this! I've recently been trying to get into 40K, and it's just so overwhelming at times, but the universe is so damn cool I keep going 😀
I cannot believe one of my favorite Warcraft lore channels just made a video about Roberto Gulliableman and his poster boys. This is the 2024 crossover we needed.
Macragge... no one?
My crack !
Even Google auto caption says it sometimes
I hope the Imperial Fists are next after the Black Legion!
I’m so happy this is the best collaboration I’ve never expected 😊😊
This is one of the highest production Warhammer content I have ever seen. EXCELLENT job.
Love your stuff, glad to see you expand into different IPs.
This was amazing, I love the use of 3d scanned\ models for the skits.
Loving the Darktide music.
This is an amazing start for this channel, great video! I hope this will be an ongoing series, looking at all the founding chapters/legions+their primarchs.
Ayo this has to be one of THE BEST 40k videos I’ve seen in the what two maybe three years I’ve been consuming this seemingly infinite amount of lore
Oh man the can of lore you have opened... is insane... I cant wait to see these videos on some of the biggest moments in 40k lore
Think of Big Blue as Batman with prep time but a Demi-God Roman. Beat him once you won’t beat him again.
The minis make this way better than any other lore channel.
The first second I realised that it’s Platinom WoW I actually had goosebumps.. the fact you do 40K has literally made my week. Instant sub ❤️
This is so awesome dude. Thank you for helping me getting introduced to warhammer. I think your content really fits perfectly and im actually grateful that you are so into it. Cuz man its hard to get into Warhammer from the outside.
I keep dreaming of this amazing mmo warhammer game
Ultramarines aren’t the largest chapter. That’s more likely the black templars. Ultramarines have close to 1,000 members at all times as per the codex they cite all the time.
Man the sound effects and the cutting!
It's great, you've really put your own style into it.
Im so glad I stumbled on this video, as an ultramarines fan, thank you so much! You clarified and explained some part of the lore that I was having a hard time understanding 👏
Know no fear is such a great book, especially when bobby g cuts sick
That's not what a gene-seed is.
A gene-seed is a primary cell, from which the 20 (22 now) organs of the Space Marines are grown, prior to the implantation into the recruit during the training process.
During their lives, the Space Marines produce more gene-seed within 2 specialized organs and are harvested either every 10 years or after death and in doing so the chapter can continue producing more organs to implant into future recruits.
I absolutely LOVE what You,ve done here Platinum. Looking forward to seeing more.
Im loving your take on 40k, especially on this video, can't wait to see where your channel goes from here
Regarding to Tyranids and Zerg similarities.
*Ah, these 10,000 men are surely enough for an entire planetary invasion. We have a whole 3 space marines on our side after all!*
I was a wow player a year ago and I’ve started painting 40K miniatures like 3 months ago. The timing couldn’t be better. Thanks
10:45 the idea for the zergs came from the nids.
The design of the nids came from the zerg
THIS SILENCE OFFENDS SLAANESH
Excellent choice of music, and an even more excellent video. Cant wait to see more!
the fact this ties in the tabletop to the lore really sets this channel apart from the thousands of wh40k lore channels.
love it
Can't wait for more videos like this. Waiting for next week will be hard.
And suddenly I crave every ounce of lore for this and wish there were ten more videos

i love this style you have going
Wait why is alpharius under demons is there something I am missing
Dude this is fantastic, your style is going to work so well with warhammer, can't wait to see more.
This is my new fav channel ❤️
I don’t know how else to say this, but you did an incredible job with this video. I’m a lore reader myself and this is an excellent jump into the lore of the series. Also using the models of the actual tabletop game is a great way to show off the look of the franchise while differentiating yourself from the many other channels that do 40k content on TH-cam.
I mean really primaris were created with separate rules to force everyone who owned a space marine army (half the player base) to buy a whole new space marine army. But yeah. Other than that everything was spot on
Oh boy I can't wait for this channel to make a video about the Daemonculaba
Holy Crap, Man your video cinematography is AMAZING! and great job on the models. I'm already in love with the channel keep up the Good work!
16:21 YOU TAKE DORN OUT OF THE DEAD SECTION HE'S JUST MISSING
Ahhh what a great video. Im absolutly in love with this kind of video. Pls make one for every primarch. That would be awesome.
He started off in the WoW community. He’s trying to content farm off 40k, but I’ll allow it since this content is actually very good.
Good guy, help him out by pointing out his mistakes early for example saying Ultramarines is the largest chapter thats heresy
21 sons, this man is big brain. IYKYK 😏
I am soooo happy you decided to start this channel. Loved the WoW content and this will be a great canvas for your descriptive abilities.
It was the blood ravens that introduced me to space marines in warhammer 40k.
RIP to the endurance trial spawn kills
Kinda love this style of video. Wouldn't mind watching one about the salamanders.
I hope you talk about the Space Dwarfs/Squats/Leagues of Votann soon, they’re a good chance to explain how we got from the present of 2024 to the year 40,000
The Ultramarines the largest chapter ? The Black Templars would like to have a word
