- This car is completely different on both sides...! It's the DS X E-Tense by DS Automobiles, which is based in Paris. It's fully street legal and made for the year 2035! I've never seen an asymmetrical car before... thoughts?? Special thanks to my mate Caspar Lee!

Nah this feels like the designers got monstrously high and got a sober intern to write down their incoherent ramblings. Once they'd recovered from the high, they took a fuckton of coke and set about designing the batshit ideas they came up with while high.
Designed by a partnership that could only agree on the paint colour. The glass floor is a smashing idea.

DS actually made it funny to think how 3 siblings or 3 friends can fit in one of these.
My dad (passed away in 1991) was born in 1907 and loved cars...he would tell us stories about driving Model A's and T's,if he were to see cars like this he would really smile......miss him.

it does not grunts, it squaks!
Sounds just like urethane bushings. Comes with the territory when they are used. Usually inaudible above 55 degrees Fahrenheit or so. I have had several cars with urethane bushings and I never hear (or heard) them squeak above 60*F. I guess it's funny if you don't understand cars, but it is certainly a mild annoyance to hear the squeak when it happens.

It's inexcusable that engineers haven't built an electric removable roof. The open cabin will end up destroyed by humidity, the sun light and the dust.

The blind spot on her right side is crazy! You'll have the glare from the outside window along with a big bump blocking anything on that side

@@orravalb sure, but looking at a camera gives a worse depth perception and unless the screen was stuck there, which isn't and would defeat the purpose anyway, it's in no way as natural as just looking over there
Also, about that floating seat... is there a glass or anything between the road and your feet? cause I'd probably break my leg on a bump or sth since I like to move my feet around quite a bit, better not drop anything too...
That being said I do like the looks, as odd as it is, AND it's a concept car for 2035 so maybe they'll implement a solution to those things, like they'll have freaking... glasses with augmentated reality that can see through the car with cameras kinda like the helmet in an F-35 or whatnot, who knows

This is the most unique car I ever seen in my life.
This car is shaped this way based off classic racing homologation cars, where some two seaters were converted to open air single seaters for weight reduction but still needed some kind of "cabin" so they kept a tiny single person one on the car. Really wish people knew about the obscure race history behind this style of design.

It’s a prototype and it’s for 2035. It’s gonna obviously not be perfect
It's just the suspension creaking, don't worry. It's a concept car, so it's bound to have imperfections.

I would recommend a face shield for the no windshield side for flying debris. Just the wind coming from the car can blow the umbrella out of your hand lol

@@Ns._shorts if you'd look more than 5 years back, DS was a serie of citroens products. It started back in the 50' when first DS19 was launched by citroen (and made to a legend). Deesse in french means "goddess". Then the branch was re-launched as a subseries of Citroens line in 2010, first as DS3, DS4, DS5. After few years they decided to remove citroen's logo from it, and sell it as a separate brand.
I mean the DS are mostly good looking but most citroen look like total crap mostly cause they also try to sell car made for everyone like recently it got better in term of design and decades ago they were beautiful but for the most part they were looking like a freakin plastic bubble but to be fair they are insanely affordable and they are quality and which is why it's everywhere in France

Squeaky suspension , no view of the right dead corner and if you are over 1.80 and a little overweight can’t fit . Not to mention the prayers you need to make so a rock would not hit you while driving behind a truck . What a great car Citroen .
