- This is the Peugeot E-Legend Concept which has the ability to switch between autonomous driving and normal drive mode. Besides only 2 Peugeot employees I was the world's first person to drive this car so I could share the experience with you guys! It's not a new design. The design is very simulair to the Peugeot 504.

Maurice LesGrosYeux yes sure ! I would have bought this car 10000 over any tesla ! However I never heard of any pre-order ... and I am in France ! The Chinese/Europe/America people should have been granted with the opportunity to opt in for pre order with a 1000 down payment ! Instead of that this car will never exist as such and they will keep delivering the market with what they do best -> affordable cheap, with plastic all over the place, cars ! I guess I will stick with Tesla !
So basically Peugeot just created KITT with a throwback 60s vibe. Awesome. Peugeot, Citroen and Renault are serious contenders for the Kings of futuristic-looking EVs of the 20s.
Out of all the electric that are coming around our way this new decade, I think this is just the best.

I've always loved the velvet Peugeot used on their cars, and the shapes of the seats. And all of their project cars looked like they came from the future. This is one car i would like to see coming to reality ,full electric, maybe just drop that huge screen idea , but all those lines and that interior , i have no words , bloody awesome like always , Peugeot still rules .

But what I like about this car is very simple it pulls always going to be putting vehicles out like this that can basically be fully self driving especially in level five? Then that'll explain everything. I could just see myself walking the car down the street. I will have the neighbors looking at me like I am nuts. Because that's exactly what they'll tell me. I am nuts. But I'm not much. I just be walking my car down the street and I'm getting it to go somewhere. But the bottom line is though you can actually do crazy things. But with a self driving car that's exactly what you can do besides driving it. You can take it for a walk. But people are telling me that I'm nuts I don't know what I'm doing and all that. However this is going to be the new concept. I mean could you imagine me going down the street in my own neighborhood saying come here Queenie come here queenie? I need to take you for a walk before I go somewhere. People are going to start asking me that and they're going to think I am nuts they're that I'm out of my mind. That's right don't think that I'm out of my mind. Which I'm not this is going to be the first concept car that will soon be a regular car for people like myself you basically drive by itself. But they're going to have to train me on it. But the fun part is for me since I'm blind walking the car down the streets just like walking with my cane. But the bottom line is so that's exactly what that is. And that's how it's going to work out. So basically if you're out in the dark area at night? And you just and you're just about home? All you do is basically get out of your car and basically walk the car home and put it in the garage. That way it will work that way. But I think this is a neat little invention that was really cooked up by the people at peugeot. I mean hats off to them. But if they bring these cars here to the United States of america? You are going to see people including myself basically start walking our cars down the street. And besides that I don't think I'd want a trucker coming up to me and saying are you walking your car on the street sir? But that's what this is about. Just think of walking your car is walking your bicycle down the street after you're through using it. We're walking the dog. Because, what this will do basically it means just that. If you're out at night somewhere and you're on your way home basically the car will give you plenty of light so you can see your way around and basically give you enough light to make it to the front door. And then by the way you can actually just walk the car to the garage and just put the car away.

Great to have an interview with Giles Vidal!! How often do you get to meet the person who designed the car? Also not many concept cars are ever drivable... I do hope they make this! Forget Tesla, these are beautiful
She also does the Renault Trezor which is quite comparable,
But that doesn't take away the fact that Tesla Model 3 is me favourite car.
Peugeot can sell technology to other companies. For example, charry pickers in a farm might need an autonomous vehicle to follow them to collect cherries. :)

Along with Alex being an incredibly warm and real person - and the amazing cars she showcases for us - an awesome subtlety of this channel I'm noticing (as I "binge" watch these videos today) is how she and her husband/partner have it set up where it's just like her and us.
They managed to keep the car handlers (who I'm sure are right there behind the camera, maybe biting their fingernails :-) Out of the picture. Also, they allow her to be hands-on, in many cases, with these sometimes one-off multimillion-dollar automobiles!
Here, we see Alex operating the doors to the car carrier, pulling down the ramps herself and It's these touches that make it feel like it's just she and the viewer, unveiling this car.
They manage to keep the owners and/or car handlers out of the videos for the most part and keep the lookie-loos also behind the camera, so that it's more intimate, etc.
I'll close out this extraordinary long comment by saying that this truly is a BRILLIANT channel and Alex and her husband really create a unique and wonderful experience for us, the viewers!

When I was a kid in the early 90s, our family car was an old, french made 1979 Peugeot 504, and I really love all the design cues they took from that era and brought into this "futuristic" car. Everything from the logo, the brand lettering, the blue fabric interior, to the shapes of the lights and the car itself, evoque the models from those years. I love it!
We had a 405, so much nostalgie!

2020 Renault will have one availlable.
That is why they call them car of the FUTURE
in about 2 years they will be a fact, 100% automatic might be a little longer also considering the laws need to get changed etc
They don't are complete full self driving because they need to help to the AI learn, take Tesla as example, they are selling a lot improving every day their self driving car, absolutely they will be the best in industry. And it's not learn and that's ok for everywhere, each countries have ur difference between others. All this help to get hard, and some countries have laws that need to obey with them, it's a lot of questions to do, if no one buys, this will need more time to become full self driving. Tesla opened their system to help to Global Warming but just for electric cars, however some companies want to learn by them. It's a lot of things to ask and get more later them. We already have flying cars too, but have too many laws that don't help to get for all public with a lot of burocracy

Masterpiece? that is one of the worst designs that i have seen + this car DOES NOT HAVE FULLY-AUTONOMOUS SUPPORT as mentioned in the video, no car manufacturer has Fully-Autonomous features today, the closest one to get there is Tesla followed by Google's Waymo

This peugeot has the level 4 auto pilot . There is 5 level . Tesla has the llevel 3 .
Level 0 no help
Level 1 adaptative cruise control
Level 2 hand off at low speed in traffic jam only .
Level 3 autopilot on highway , separated ways , geo fencing . Driver ready to put hands on the wheel to take control .
Level 4 without pilot , the car must control everything without wheel but on geofencing like the level 3 , it ´s not on open road .
Level 5. Auto pilot complete without driver and everywhere in the city , countryroad , highways , open road.

Teslas, Googles and others will still crash into a van standing inside a road construction zone beacause the car in front of them changed the lane not too late. But it is too late for Tesla, Googles and others. Peugeot testfleet of end 20th/begin 21th century already avoided such crashs. Just a question of real carmakers know-how.
