So are you saying la noire RDR max payne would be enjoyable without euphoria? that it'd be great with just a story? also, be careful with mental health accusations. My statement is clear, if everyone bashed gta 4 for the physics it wouldn't be in most of the following games afterwards. Maybe my statement was too deep or overly dramatic, but without the physics you'd just have a story imo. In which, RDR and gta 4 would be the best. Also, after they saw how much people admired euphoria physics and DMM they had to put that in those games. Physics is pretty much the core of gameplay, am I wrong? So stop telling people they have mental issues and come up with facts because you're not proving anything at all. Lastly, it's the same as me stating the same thing about 3. If 4 was a failure and it was so trash compared to the games afterwards, those games would've changed their physics immediately, but that wasn't the case. It was still a major accomplishment, and GTA 4 over shadowed max payne 3, la noire, and RDR sales and more. TBH i bet a lot of people forgot about l.a. noire..I did and I put in hours trying to be the best detective, but it wasn't all that great.

@Old Sport It never looked shit. By todays standards it does look not that good however the attention to detail was still great. I'm replaying it and although GTA V has better graphics and a better more detailed city by roads and buildings. I think GTA IV has more attention to detail when it comes to physics, the textures, the roads feel like the have bumps and potholes in them. As everything isn't all bright it feels more realistic to me. GTA V looks great but since I have replayed GTA IV it kind of feels so fake and lacking attention to detail when it comes to physics and small stuff like bumps in the roads, cracks etc. It looks too perfect to feel real imo.

Yea I think the original on PS3 looked better than this. Turning up the resolution to 4k doesn't make it look better, it just makes everything look like smooth, flat toned, hard edged plastic.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing GTA 6 set in Liberty City, but Liberty City needs to larger. (Obviously) Like maybe north of the city, parts of Upstate new york could be included. (Like the forests and mountains, etc) to give more diversity in gameplay and scenery. Also include a Staten Island knock off, and Possibly the Hamptons. And If the game wanted to go all out to include more than 1 actual city, have Liberty City, with the added parts mentioned beforehand, and Maybe Philadelphia, or a Boston knock off.

The point of liberty city being small was to make the game feel more detailed by focusing more effort on the smaller details

I wish GTA V had IV's mechanics and physics. I think they make a big difference in driving.
I could feel the vehicle's momentum when moving and feel the centrifugal force when making corners. GTA V is a wonderful game but this feature would have made the game a bit better imho

The mod just makes everything look bright and sunny, Liberty City ain’t meant to be all bright and sunny. It’s meant to be dark, sinister, mysterious etc. This just seems out of place.

A better mod would be GTA5 with GTA4 style driving & GTA4 style drunkenness! GTA5 without the oversimplified arcade style driving would be beautiful. Back in GTA4 you actually had to learn to drive, so if you could win races online, it was because you had SKILLZ, but in GTA5, driving and cornering at speed is so easy that ANYbody could win online, with only a little bit of practice.
