Me and my partner placed an order for an A45s Plus a few weeks back and are now just waiting for it to be delivered. This will be our first AMG and we can't wait for collection day and get the run in period out of the way and to really open it up. Just hope the collection from the dealership is something special as this our first new car and it's not a cheap one and we want it to be an experience not to be forgotten.Being a Tuber myself and that I will be documenting the collection I'm hoping they will roll out the red carpet 😄
I still have a 2018 A45 and my Dad has a new CLA45s. Regarding the engine: i love the new M139! Very aggressive, extremely rev-hungry. Lots of fun really. But I also have to say the M133 is a great engine to it´s own. I love the old-school turbo-feel with lag and a fat mid-range. Both very different, but very very fun to drive.

I have a 2017 a45.. which is fun.. sounds good.. and is fast.. very nice car.. a45s i think with a few mods.. make it pop n crackle.. it would be there.. forget the real sound.. if that new one could sound off like the older one.. what a car.. love it.. and always love remove before race bloggs.. keep up the good work..
Very nice Video, love your Animation! I think with a fixed connection to the front axle and the two clutches to the back wheels, it‘s the other way round. With both clutches being open, 100% of the power goes to the front wheels and with both clutches closed it’s a 50/50 split. That‘s why drift mode is applicated differently compared to the V8 Models.
The only problem is at that price point you’re not far off a C63/M3/M2, when spending that much wouldn’t you want a more exotic engine? Yes the A45S is wickedly fast, but it’s still just a 4 cylinder. Love it as a hot hatch though, big improvement over the previous gen 🔥
People like me who hate V8'S won't look at C63 etc. Mine is fully optioned and no regrets. I even bought 2 character plates "2L" so V8'S know they got done by a 4 cylinder
People paying monthly might need cheaper Insurance in some countries, like Ireland where I live, insurance would be much cheaper on a 45s compared to a 3.0
Trent Costigan how can you hate v8s, I have a 2018 C63s and I full well know this A45 will be quicker up-to a certain speed but the smile I get from my C63 I don’t believe this A45 could top it although saying that my dealer is trying to talk me into one and I’m seriously considering it

Thank you - excellent review. I have this car on order, same colour! Can't wait! The only thing I don't like are the fake exhausts and the rather muted sound track. Hence, I have purchased an Akrapovic exhaust system for it, which should up the anti a bit!
Great content, really admire the A45 AMGs for a four cylinder 2 litre motor its awesome, and for most is more than adequate as a daily, but am going to miss the 63 AMGs, and they are great value at present, as is my favourite the E55 AMG.
I placed an order for the A45s Plus only the other day (delivery estimated late June if all goes back to normal) and can't wait to get it.Will be making loads of videos about it such as the collection and running through all it's features,as well as putting it's performance to the test against our Mitsubishi Evo.

Wonder how a an exhaust upgrade would make the car sound. When we finally get the CLA 45 here in the states I plan to do a RennTech exhaust and tune just to make up for not being able to get the S. Though, I'm hoping not having the same regs we may get a slightly better sounding car. If you don't "resolve" the exhaust issue by then I'll send you a sound clip. Love your videos by the way.
Wish they'd do a manual transmission as an option. If Aston Martin can do it with they're engines, don't understand why merc can't. Understand they'd be a slight power drop, but would be so much fun.

The 'basic' version does not and they cannot be specified as an option. Can you say whether being able to put the springs to a comfort setting adds appreciably to the ability of the car to trundle over UK road imperfections without a bone jostling ride ? I am attracted to the simplicity of the basic model but it was a touch firm on imperfect road surfaces for everyday trundling until the fun can start.
@@axlo76 c63s has most of its crackles at like 6000 rpm in first and second gear when lifting the throttle! every other crackle is pretty random when downshifting or lifting the throttle at high rpms. at start up no other car the an the a45s crackles with the emotion start!
Alex Lo try going on the highway. Get to 100km/h or 60 m/h in 3rd gear with you c63s in sport + (exhaust open) and floor it for 2-3 seconds, then release the gaz. You will be hooked.
Hoping to get one in a couple of months! Only problem is that insurance is £2250 a year?? Is that decent for a 17 year old ?? Parents would also be insured on it and they would be paying for the insurance while I pay for the car on finance, just so people don’t start calling me spoilt etc and daddy’s money .👍

SuppMaster as in aftermarket solutions. Merc won’t make it louder as they will still be governed by dB limits
