And point a heaven gun at God's head. And had an atheist friend comeback to life after that friend met the devil. And met his Gaurdian Angel, finding out that he in a _"Wonder life"_ Christmas lesson and this isn't his real family. No when you are requested to adhere to what you are called to uphold. Yet as leader to your moral obligations as a student of academics of higher learning. To then in turn come up short. Only to be slandered by those in the position of higher authority and expectations from your elders that's quite blissful of your homelife. Upon proper communication skills that are MIA of your own flesh and blood. You cannot expect your upper superiors to show a willingness to understand by your position alone. So with an already damaged reputation from the assumption of said teacher you must bring forth evidence to showcase your authenticity of your word alone. Now that the truth has been told from Stan which is the pun of the joke the truth (so to speak) it reveals that Steve did not bare false witness. Then overdelivered to reveal the insecurities from his teacher by making Stan self project his own life to display the teachers own life. Causing him to jump out of said window. Which steve had no intent of harming. He merely defended himself from being slandered in the first place. So it's not Steve's responsibility for catching teachers jumping out of windows. Besides suicide is not very healthy for you body eat more greens!!!😇 can I have a cookie now?

Back in early 1980 my tenth grade history teacher committed suicide. We thought it was great at the time because a) we didn't like him and b) we got a substitute for the rest of the year (who we did like.) It wasn't until around 2005, my early 40's, that it dawned on me that our class might have been the cause of his depression. Fun fact: We see from the external shot of the school that Steve's school is only two floors tall. This means that his teacher fell no more than 20 feet, or about 6 meters for those across the pond. The medial fall height is 48 feet, or about four floors, twice what our teach just took. His suicide attempt is likely to end with a couple of annoyingly broken bones, depending on how he landed, potential paralyzation if he breaks his back/spine, crack ribs if he landed on his front, and only possibly death if he angled himself down to try and crack open his skull or snap his neck with the impact. In other words, what a drama queen, like that fall would even have a chance of dismissing life.

"I'm a better Christian than anybody in there!" -Stan Smith
"I dunno if there's an afterlife" -Also Stan Smith
Even if we ignore the whole "personal heaven" thing from the episode "Rapture's delight" and consider it not to be canon... And the fact that he's met his guardian angel... AND if we overlook the fact that he legit pointed a gun at God's head... That is STILL an incredibly hypocritical thing for him to say.
    (Here comes the controversial part)
It may have made a funny joke if it were meant to be a humorous commentary on the hypocrisy of many modern Christians. No, I am not talking about ALL modern Christians. I am a Christian... BUT you gotta admit there are wayyyy too many who act like they're a better Christian than anybody else because they think they never have sinned and only believe in God the way kids believe in Santa, but if you go beneath the surface, their love for God is completely shallow.

I was shocked that this was on TH-cam!! I watched the episode and didn’t even bother searching for this part. However!!!!! Someone else feels the same as I do!! What a relief. We’re not alone men!! Keep soldering on. There is comfort in community.
The only difference is, I wake up in a panic. There is NO 5 seconds of peace. Waking up is the worst part of my day. Let’s not give up, but if we do, we do so as bravely as Mr Brink. If ur here it’s because u got a little Brink in u, but I’m with u! Not today brothers, not today. Let’s make it one more day.

You know what really unsettles me?
That deep down I agree with Stan through that subconscious thought that is stored way back in the corner of my brain. Whatever this voice, thought or feeling is, no matter how happy and stable I feel I never feel like I was able or will be able to get rid of it.
Of course the voice of reason is stronger. the conscious version of me is stronger and in charge. I am stronger and in charge!
So I wouldn’t even think about anything melancholic, let alone suicidal.
Unless all the stress gets too much, I crumble under the pressure, can no longer keep my emotions in check and go a step too far, I should be fine.
I’ve got nothing to worry about

Does anyone else realize that Stan was talking about suicide to a class run by a teacher named Mr. BRINK?
