I’m starting to think that Family Guy would really benefit from being a compilation of shorts because no one cares about Family Guy’s plot. Family Guy storylines aren’t interesting anymore and it feels like Seth only puts effect into American Dad, which honestly American Dad is the best animated show he has created so far.
Seth has tried to kill family guy multiple times so he doesn't put any effort anymore in hopes it dies away but it never does @@NamelessCat77

I think the only unrealistic part for me is how hard it was to tear it off lol. For me it tears off easily, but trying to get it to stick to the plate by tucking it under is a pain.
There are tabs on the side of the cartons you can push in to help keep the roll in place. I haven't had an issue since figuring that out

As someone who stays in cheap motels on vacation, I have literally has the same conversation about orange juice that doesn’t really taste like orange juice and yoghurts in sizes you didn’t know exist.

The oj is over half apple juice is why. If you look at a lot of juice in stores, apple juice is the main ingredient. Because it's cheap, and sweet so they don't have to add much extra sugar.

Pro tip for plastic wrap users: go to a restaurant supply store and get a 12" commercial sized plastic wrap meant for restaurant usage (or order it online). You probably won't need to buy plastic wrap for 10 years, and it unrolls, and cuts 1000x easier than grocery store garbage. I've had mine since November 2019 and it's still going strong

The part that got me about the food truck was the giant pile of napkins all blowing away in the wind.

My local theater is over twenty minutes, with more than ten commercials, three in a row which are soda ads (diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and something I'd never herd of called Starry), then the countless coming attractions. I've learned to show up in line to buy my ticket and popcorn at the scheduled start time, which still leaves me a few extra minutes after using the restroom.

Old episodes did this a lot
Conway Twitty cutaways were notorious for being the entire song but they actually served three purposes:
1. To fill up runtime
2. It works on a meta level because the songs are meant to serve as a distraction, so when the song ends and it cuts back to the show, you've been so caught up in the song, it kind of "jolts" you back into the flow of the episode
3. Seth MacFarlane did it as a subtle "fuck you" to FOX because it costs a lot of money to get permission to use Conway Twitty's songs, so he'd blow FOX's budget each time the crew used the cutaway gag
Eventually the joke hit its peak in the episode where Peter and friends reunite with God, who points out the laziness of the Conway Twitty gag and insists they just write a joke instead.
As far as I know, the show hasn't used the joke since.
that joke at 3:08 is relate to the fact I always hear my mother having this same kind of conversation when she calls my grandma and it never not funny

The only flaw in the joke is, how did Peter not know what movie he was going to see, because he acts like it’s a complete mystery lol. Maybe Brian wanted it to be a surprise and had him wear a blindfold before walking in that’s the best answer I can think of lol 😂

I worked temporarily at a fruit bouquet company. They had a sewer grate they'd open up and let ventilate right by the open vat of chocolate sauce they'd use to dip fruits in.

This is exactly why aluminum foil is superior in every way to Suran Wrap. Seriously you pull the stuff out and tear it, and you’re good.
The only con is if you have a bunch of plates wrapped up in aluminum foil and you’re looking for this one specific dish, but then you end up ripping open other dishes that are not the one you’re looking for and then you re-wrap the ones you open.

You know, Family Guy's really good at keeping a joke going until it's not funny anymore, and then striking again when it raps back around to the sheer commitment being funny
Like when he falls and hurts his knee and says "ahhhhh' over and over. It feels like it lasts 5 minutes of just that, as if they were trying to see just how uncomfortable and exasperated they could make the audience.

The plastic wrap joke is why I’ve begun to just default to plastic, lockable Tupperware dishes. Slap that shit into a little plastic box, put the correctly-sized lid on it, clamp down the locks on the sides, and we golden.
That and it feels more environmentally friendly. Reusable plastic dishes instead of single-use plastic sheets.
I much agree, Mrs. Princess. If we're gonna be using plastic, we'd better use it in ways that we know are gonna last and can clearly be recycled, right?

The opening logo bit makes so much sense especially with indie movies nowadays. I saw “Late Night With The Devil” in theaters and the opening logos took up over a minute of time. There were EIGHT logos in total. EIGHT. And they STILL somehow couldn’t afford an actual artist for the transitional images.

Strangely warm strawberry is the funniest line from the whole compilation.
I clicked specifically for the plastic wrap segment. Way too accurate. Why most of my family still insists on using it is annoying. And don't worry, there's always that one person who just shows up, and can just swiftly and seamlessly unroll, slice and place it and it actually fucking sticks perfectly, until the moment you touch it, and it NEVER will cling again. I didn't expect the segment to be so long though hahaha

Maude was a sitcom in the 70’s that seemed to have an unusually long theme song. It was a spin-off of All in the Family.
