@@robo567 I like the name but I disagree that it's more catchy. Smash Con rolled off the tongue more easily with it's two syllables compared to Supernova with it's 4 syllables, and you could also shorten it to be SSC in writing. There's a reason so many people are still calling it Smash Con

There are issues with Nintendo with that. If you look at a lot of what goes on in Melee where they have tried to even just use mods that make the game more stable, that you can't even see are running visually, and Nintendo has said they will prohibit the tournaments from being broadcasted because the game is being modified. So no, probably not - also there would have to be a mod to display inputs for Smash 64 which I assume exists but idk.
I would love to see the judges react blind, not knowing who is performing the combo. That would make the scoring feel a lot more fair, and it would be really fun to try ans guess who each performer is

Smash events don’t have that technology yet. They still don’t know how to accurately play replays of combos😂
