This is my favorite movie of all time now. It's a high bar...and Nimona flies over it like a phoenix.

I'm gay. I saw the movie. I have to give props on this film from making the main gay characters to have actual RELATABLE STORY ARK and not about "oh, the character is gay, thats it".
Cuase sexuality is not personality traits.
Not everything has to be about the radical thinking of "THE MESSAGE"
How about, HOLLYWOOD needs to start focusing on HIGH-QUALITY storytelling that actually entertained first and move people to changed theirs minds in the process.
Cuase FORCING an AGENDA instead of entertainment is not gonna help anything.

I love the movie, 4 1/2 stars out of 5 if not more. So much heart is in this adventure. Thanks and more to everyone that worked on the movie.

Well I do like it, do you know why? It´s because I´m gay, and I have news for you, I didn´t become gay the moment I turn 18. I was a kid first, every LGBT+ person there is was once a kid, an LGBT+ Kid. My first memory about liking a girl is from when I was like 7. It was just like every other little girl liking a boy, but instead like a girl, that was the only difference. But I didn´t know what were those feelings at first. And while I was growing up I keep experiencing feelings like those, but society, my own family keept telling me how that was "wrong" how that "wasn´t natural" and a million things like that, I still didn´t knew what was it exactly that I was feeling, but at that time I didn´t gave my self time to explore it, or to even see it, because a part of me knew I was different, and I thought I had to hide that, and I did, almost subconciously I did. Until I was 16, and I finally saw everything, I saw me, I saw my feelings as they were, I looked at the past, and realize all of that. So good representation like this, could really help all the LGBT+ kids out there to feel less alone, to feel like it´s okay being who they are, that there´s nothing wrong with love, there´s nothing wrong with them. And at the same time it could help all the other kids to be more accepting of those LGBT+ kids, It could help them see "Hey, there´s nothing wrong with that, they just love eachother, as everyone else" and that could be the first step to creating a more accepting society.

To be honest, I was never publicly comfortable with PDA even in tv shows and movies (not gonna go over why because that’s too personal) But I mean, Disney movies show so many scenes where the prince kisses the princess/girl and they both live happily ever after all the time. And that’s normal? But why is it so wrong for two men to kiss on screen? Love is love. People including kids need to know it’s ok to be loved for who they are. That’s the message of “Nimona” after all

This is something I needed as a young queer person, ppl like you aren't protecting us you want to censor us and that's part of what this film is about being an outsider and seen as this monster that wants to hurt children when it's the opposite, we aren't monsters and if you can't see that the movie isn't for you.

Omg how traumatized the children must be for seeing LOVE... Honey that's the one thing you straight people should let the kids see more: more queer love and not only straight love. Because believe it or not, every queer person is a kid first. It's you straight people that demonize being queer and make up all the horrible things you think an lgbtq+ people do. You straights raise the kids to believe whatever horrible stuff about queers, and you are the reason kids are confused, not us lgbtq+ people. We only want acceptence and empathy. And if you don't get it, pls actually watch the movie.
