Agreed!! Every time I see her video pop up…after I say, “oh goodie”…my eyes instantly pop to the the length of the video..quickly followed by an …”awe shucks”. 😭 I’ll take what I can get. ☺️♥️
Thank you for the free pattern of the cowl! I live in The Netherlands and I enjoy watching your podcast very much! Thanks also for the the explanation of the moderations you made with your Kuffel sweater. Have a nice weekend. Jolande 😘
Thank you so much for the pattern for your cowl! It's beautiful and I'm going to get that on the needles today!! I love your podcast - always so warm and charming and it was a pleasure starting my day with you today! Hugs from Texas!!
Leslie, your knitting podcast is a favorite of mine! Thank you for the cowl pattern. I’m excited to knit it. I love this new feature you have for showcasing your follower’s patterns! Please keep it up! My knitting group is doing a secret gift exchange and we are knitting the Sophie scarf by Petite Knits.
Thank you Leslie for another great video and the free Two Tone Twist Cowl pattern. Your Kuffell sweater looks adorable on you, love the color combination. Looking forward to seeing the completed No Frills Sweater in the Onling yarn.
Leslie, you are always sharing the most stylish projects, and they all look wonderful on you! Thanks for your free Twist Cowl pattern, I have some Knitpics, Palette yarn, in lots of colors, that would be perfect for this project! Just signed up for the Knitting Summit class! Thanks again for sharing these lovely things with all of us!
Leslie, your sweater is simply stunning and looks so good on you. When I first saw the pattern, I didn't care for it. HOWEVER, seeing your creation has totally changed my mind. Now I have to make one in soft grey and white. I think it looks better in lighter colors than the dark one shown on the pattern. I'm still reducing my sizeable yarn stash of single skeins by knitting Watch Caps like crazy. I think I've made 60 in the last couple of months and donated almost all of them.
Lovely as always Leslie 🥰 your Grandmothers dress form is so special, looks very advanced for something almost 90 years old. Love that you are doing the same knit as your girl and the powder blue colour is gorgeous. Thanks for the fun and inspiration 💕💕💕
Great to see you, Leslie! Thank you for the cowl pattern. I want to let you know that I was totally inspired by the knitting notebook you showed a few episodes ago. I finally made one for myself. It has helped to clear my head if all the yarns and patterns that were swirling around! I’ve been able to make a plan for stash yarn, which is a relief 😄
Another lovely chat. Leslie, thank you very much for the Twist cowl. It is a basic pattern that I will cherish as part of my library, and can't wait to knit. I may even use the yarn I won from you as part of the stripes KAL from last year. Love your classic style!
Thank you for the pattern! I am going to cast this on today! This is perfect for Arkansas weather. Love your choice of sweaters and colors as well as the whole podcast. Thanks again for this pattern. :)
I Leslie, so glad this morning to watch your video about the Kuffel! I am currently knitting this pattern and it is my first time with colorwork and the same happened to me with "bubble" in my knitting. Now I know that, probably, it will be fix by blocking my work. I REALLY enjoy your podcast, your choice of pattern and your style! Thank you to share!
Always nice to see you! Thank you for the PERFECT cowl! I might cast on very soon, love a nice & easy knit! Your sweater is Gorgeous! Thanks for the neckline tip! I prefer a collar closer to the neck & now, all those wider collar patterns…hmmm, I may have to re-think! (like I “need” more ideas/patterns…) Agree, Petite Knit has my full attention! I really should cast on a pullover and a cardigan. Thanks for a lovely episode!
Thank you for another wonderful episode, Leslie. Your Kuffel is lovely 😊. And thank you for the pattern gift! I really enjoy seeing the projects of other knitters also!
Hello friend Leslie, thank you for sharing this amazing episode and the pattern of the two tone twist. Great gift. Thanks a lot. Your missoni sweater is perfect. Congratulations! ♥
Nice to see you pop up in my feed. Another lovely podcast. I agree with you regarding Petite Knits, I could knit everyone of her patterns. I must have made 5 Oslo Hat mohair edition this winter as gifts. I am currently knitting Petite Knit Friday Sweater mini for my little granddaughter. Take care til next time.
Thank you so much for the free pattern! I have it downloaded and can't wait to try it! You are so generous....definitely a friend to knit with!!!! Love your podcast!
Another lovely podcast, Leslie. Loving the Kuffel and the No Frills sweaters, especially the colors. 😍 Am trying to register for the Knitting Summit 2023, but the link is broken, which I notified them of. Would love to do the Beatrice Mitts; I bought the yarn last year when you first showed them. Cheers. Barbara
Leslie, your Kuffel sweater is gorgeous! Just downloaded "Twist". This will be a perfect knit for me to make my daughters. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I am working on a feather and fan baby blanket and have also just cast on the Watch Cap from Purl Soho for my grandson. Have a wonderful week.
Hello Leslie! So good to catch up with you- your finished sweater suits you so well and thank you for the neckline tip! I finished the October Sweater by Petite Knit just the other day and it is as you described in the video "just the sweater you want to wear on a cozy day". I am going to cast on either the Paul Klee Sweater by Midori Hirose (I will do a tonal/textural yoke using different fibers in similar colors) or the Dab cardigan by Hiromi Nagasawa. Here in Tokyo we have had pretty mild temperatures with sky blue clear skies and it is refreshing to bundle up and walk in the crisp air. Today I will ride the train a few stops to renew my driver's license at the police station (this is possible only when you have a perfect driving record; otherwise, you have to go to the driver's center). I will still have to sit through a 45-60 min lecture about road safety and new road laws- all in Japanese. Too bad I can't knit during the session! Have a great week and thank you for the pattern code- the cowl is so cute!
Thank you Leslie! Love Love Love everything you do - and I found plenty of inspiration in this episode. Many thanks for the cowl pattern! I am finishing a colorwork sweater Dreyma and I will use the left over yarn to make a yummy two toned twist cowl!
Thankyou for the lovely cowl pattern, I was wanting to knit my first cowl and this looks perfect, you're very kind. Snowy forest and Hepburn have been added to my faves. Im looking forward to your next vid already, happy knitting in the meantime. Cheerio, Tara
How I enjoyed seeing all of the lovely projects featured in this episode, Leslie! Thank you so much for the Twist cowl pattern, which is a great project for gift knitting. Aren't those two pale blue yarns from Denmark gorgeous? Happy New Year.
That was a great tip about the neckline. Thanks for the cute cowl pattern. I’m working on a Birkin on my 24” needles and crossing my fingers all my stitches are flat enough. Your sweater is super cute!
Thank you for replying to me. I think i will try using the yarn for the softie scarf. If I have a change of heart I will try & reach out for your help😊 I look forward to purchasing your latest pattern you are in the process of drafting. I always enjoy & look forward to your podcasts!! I thought it was such a lovely idea writing your thoughts down when you think of your Mom.😍
From Deb in Charlotte, NC…. I just subscribed. Your grey and white sweater is lovely. I really enjoyed seeing what some others are knitting. Very inspiring. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the pattern, Leslie. I look forward to making it. Currently, I'm knitting on two sweaters; "Rigolet", designed by Jennifer Beale, and "Blum", designed by Unwind Knitwear.
What an awesome treat to see your newest upload this morning! I couldn’t think of a better way to start the day! Thank you for the timely tip of decreasing and deviating from the pattern to make a neckline more narrow. I was contemplating on purchasing a cable raglan pattern. However the neckline was a tad wider than I would have like on the designer. However, I saw that someone who knitted the pattern knitted a narrower neckline. She knew how to modify the neckline, but I was hesitant and wasn’t sure if I would be able modify the pattern or not. I am a newbie to adult sweater knitting, and was afraid to modify the pattern. I think I shall institute your method of decreasing the neckline! I love your Kuffel sweater! I saw on Instagram the magical transformation by blocking. My friend, a very experienced knitter, showed the transformation of a delicate all lace shawl transformed into a work of art via blocking when I told her about your sweater transformation! Thanks for sharing! Your cowl pattern is awesome too. Feeling lucky to be a part of this awesome knitting community! Wishing you all the best and happy knitting in 2023! ❤❤
Oh! I love your Kuffel, Leslie! Right now I’m finishing up a Childhood by ANKESTRiCK for myself and a Notes by Lone Kjeldsen for my husband. Next sweater cast on will the Ingrid by Petite Knit. 🙌
Like always, when I see you, so happy for another podcast and visit. It really is like a good friend has stopped by. Love, love, love your gray and white Kuffel. You have me wanting to do another one!
Oh gosh the two tone twist is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us! I can’t wait to see your new cowl design! Take care. 🌸 Wait, that was me you were talking about! I’m knitting that as I watch your podcast! 💗
Such a joy to watch this podcast….always wishing you would podcast daily……😂….can you imagine!!! You’d never get anything done. Thank you for choosing to start this podcast and for continuing to provide such joy and inspiration. ❤ 🧶
I do love your knits and style, you have great taste I am knitting on the Flores by Eri Shimizu it’s a spring /summer sweater as I live in Australia and it’s warm here now, thank you so much for your Twist cowl pattern it’s very well written 🙏❤️
Your sweater is delicious! Just a beautiful piece to add to your wardrobe. I made the two tone twist a few years ago for my mom and one for Annalie’s babysitter. It’s just so yummy in that woolfolk yarn!
Thanks Leslie wonderful format. Love your Kuffle - inspiring. I’m knitting Larsdatter by Scandiworks with Nutiden unspun. I’m also in PA and completely agree about our weather and knitting. I don’t remember if you’ve knit with Nutiden. It’s softer than Plotulopi if you’re familiar with that. On the pattern, Kristin Drysdale/Scandiworks demystifies construction with colorwork. She writes patterns to give you what you need -
Thanks so much for the pattern! Now to find some special cozy yarn. Love your Kuffel, your knitting looks perfect. Check out the pattern called The Cozy Hoodie. Really cute, I’m going to make a second one, my adult daughter was gifted the first one.
I wanted to tell you that I used your stitch marker trick to knit my very first sweater with sleeves. It helped to keep track of decreases so much better than I would have otherwise. Thank you!
So excited when I woke up this morning, and saw that I had “A friend to knit with” waiting in my queue! Great episode, as always! Just downloaded “Twist”! Thank you for your generosity! I’m working on “The Timepiece Cardigan”, by Ailbiona McLochlainn. As soon as that comes off my needles, I will be casting on the “Twist” cowl. Have a great day, and give a great day! ❤
Your Kuffle turned out beautiful. It looks so cozy. You always choose some beautiful colours and yarn! I shortened mine as well. I am currently working on Max Cyr's So Basic Sweater for my son. I am using Knit Picks Stroll tweed fingering and it is an awful yarn. But I am going to persist.
Thank you for your lovely podcast. You are so calm and peaceful. Perfect way to start my day. ❤ Love your new sweater! Your tip for the neck band is something I will use in the future. Thank you for Twist😀
Thank you Leslie. Love your podcast. I love that you mentioned Knitty McPurly (Devin Ventre) - she is also one of my faves. Great patterns beautiful spirit. ♥

Leslie your Kuffel looks amazing. I've had it in my favorites since it came out, but haven't knit it because I don't find the low arm pit area comfortable on these types of sweaters. Are they referred to as a swoncho? Or is there another term, they seem to be very popular the last few years? I like your tip for starting sleeves sooner, with colorwork going on does this get complicated? Thank you for sharing all the lovely knitting. 🤗
Your podcasts, for me, are like the guest who leaves too soon and you wish they could stay longer. Filled with inspiration - just lovely 💕💕💕
Agreed!! Every time I see her video pop up…after I say, “oh goodie”…my eyes instantly pop to the the length of the video..quickly followed by an …”awe shucks”. 😭
