This tutorial was perfect! I wanted to make a hat for my 7month old and 4 year old cousins. This pattern was so much fun! If I had just made something up I probably wouldn’t have included a brim which is arguably pretty important. The kids loved it and it fit both of them perfectly (although being a little long as expected on the baby lol) (but he looked like a little hipster so it was totally worth it) The simple stitches required made it easy to work on between classes, while watching TV, and even on the subway! Now I wanna make my aunt and uncle adult sized versions too! (They can all be match-y match-y)
Thank you so much for this video! I have been musing about making a hat like this for my grand kids and yours is exactly what I had in mind. I love how you explain every step...and the improved SSK....that is terrific! I am finishing up a Petite Knit Teddy Sweater and will be using that as I decrease through the sleeve. Thanks again for the videos:) Happy knitting!
Thank you for your tutorial and pattern. I needed 128 stitches for the right size hat. Can you please tell me how the decrease in this case would proceed? I get 9 rows per inch of knitting. Thank you so much!
Somebody asked me a hat for a four years old so this is perfect. I recently followed Roxanne Richardson for hat construction. She's got few ''receipes''.
You did not tell and show first decreasing row what how to do decreasing . Beginning decreasing were left 14, but other sections were left 13, how about to do finish ending of decreasing rows.
Rather than comment, don’t watch. You have been provided free instructions on something. The emotion should be gratitude, not frustration. She was actually very good at a good pace.
I like the decrease method in this. Excellent video! I’d like to do same hat ladies size.

Thanks very much for sharing your method and design!!!
You explained this technique very well.
It would be helpful if you let us know what age child this hat will fit.
What's the circumference measurement of the finished hat?
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I learned new techniques, which is always exciting. What age range should this hat fit?
Hi Megan I love your hat but I would love to use size 8 needles. How would I adjust this? Thanks in advance for your help.
Nancy
Do you have a tutorial on how to make this for adult's?
Thanks for the instructions
I had trouble with the decrease. I have a shorter set of circular needles and it got really hard to keep decreasing 😢
Can you use a different type of yarn? I like to use lion brand wool ease which is 80% acrylic and 20% wool?
I know this was 2 years ago but need to ask where you purchased the yarn you used.

@@cecilelefeuvre7517 Thank you!
is it possible to do this pattern on 4 double pointed needles rather than using circular needles? thank you in advance
What size is the hat or what ages does the hat fit?
Thank you!
Sana
Thanks so much for the video, how many stitches I need to cast on for 3-6 month baby? Please help!
Where is the one for adults?
How long did this take you?
Very nice

I wish you could do a more slowed down explanation of the cast on for absolute beginners. Really difficult to follow. 😔
Pls show same hat foe 0 to 6 mths

I'm sorry, but this is very confusing to me. It does work up very pretty.
Omg get on with it
