On my first trip in 2004. I stayed at Eastiny Place, soi 8. I loved it. The gogos on soi 7 and 8 were so much fun, I walked all over being quite pedantic. it was September first week so still kind of low season back then, The girls have fighter pilot eyes and notice how often I would walk up and down the street, go on a baht bus, come back, etc. I didn't rent a bike. One day after a bout one week, one of the girls shoulted out from one of the bars "you walk too much". Gotta love em

I visited in Pattaya 2012- 2013. After all these years miss it! I'm up to retirement soon and I'm considering 3 months a year. Being there ...I really respected the ladies. I know you do also. In addition you offer advice as to how not to get in trouble their. I love your channel. You walk about and in a respectful way...tell us what Pattaya has to offer...TY

I've seen a lot of bars with five girls and no guys or ten girls and one guy. If you want the most selection go early. If you want the best prices go late. Or spend the whole evening bar hopping. Good times.

I'm confused, what's there to love about the story? How would you feel if the Norwegian guy was you? Just don't marry a Thai woman, you just don't know when they will turn on you. So much safer as a GF. That way you have the final say.

The Plan is to come back to Pattaya, Thailand for an "extended" stay as soon as I can. I always like your stories !!! Some people here claim that they are made up. But if you have come to Pattaya many times you know that exactly these kind of stories happen all the time. 😂👍(I had a bar-fined girl in my hotel room when her "boyfriend" from England called and I had to listen to a bizarr conversation. She later explained to me that he sends her money every month and thererfore she pretends not "to go with customers" any more. First I was a bit mad with that girl but later I learned that she "opened my eyes for Pattaya" and I should be grateful to her !!!) 😂🤣🙏

V. Nice walk down Soi 7. So many good memories, I miss "Dave's" especially, flattened for a hotel. Used to be across from "Pig and Whistle" which has also been moved. Seems like nothing good lasts very long, gotta get it while you can. Good work old fella.

Yes, already some years ago I was surprised to see buses full of Indian stopping in front of the massage shops in second road ... Thinking about it now, in fact, it seemed like an organized trip, I thought it was included in the travel package, And it is just like that, as the Russians who came in large groups in traditional massages with agency coupons in their hand 👎👎👎The vast majority extremely loud and rude, when I saw them or changed shop or tried to return when the herd was gone 🤬. We hope to be back soon too, Unfortunately for me the main problem is the work, it takes me in advance to organize my holidays, With the current visa situation and possible quarantine on return home, this is very difficult for me.
Hi Daz I have 3 x 4 week holidays in pattaya between September and March. I booked well ahead and got decent flight tickets and hotel accommodation. But what you have to bear in mind is there is a cost of living crisis throughout the world. So don't believe things are going to get better anytime soon.
Story's are great! With these story's it like listening to "our tune" from Radio 1 about 30 years ago, just need a bit of soppy music in the background.

I live in Phuket but keep in Touch with the UK regularly, many expats in Thailand have no clue about the huge increase in the cost of living in the West because in Thailand prices are very much the same as last year. The cost of flights is a drop in the ocean compared to other price increases. In Phuket now the vast majority of visitors are from India or the middle East, 30 year's ago they where nearly all from Europe or the US, Things Change and not always the Way West people like but That's the way it is, nothing lasts for ever.
Yes... Europe and Russia are still big and doing well. America is financially finished.

No... America is a deficit economy now. Every year America must borrow trillions to prop their economy up. The baby boomers owned property at a rate of 80%..now... .30 to 40 Yr olds are down to 40% home ownership. The USA middle class has shrunk dramatically... Ex president Clinton does some good talks on this subject.
The dollar has been toilet paper since 2008 but its value has been manipulated by the plunge protection Committee. Which uses inflation to prop the dollar up.

Contrary to what a lot of people may think, this is a good time to be in Pattaya for the following reasons: you like it quieter than high season therefore avoiding the crowds; do not mind the prolonged rain showers.
I was there last month and there were plenty of attractive and friendly companions to hook up with, as well as many other activities to participate in.
I do believe many tourists are not there due to the following: current high air prices, the limited supply of flights to Thailand; general rise in the cost of living; many tourists are waiting at home because they have already booked to come in the high season.
Anyway, I will return to Thailand and Pattaya in 4 days time to enjoy this low season.
Maybe, the soapies are cheaper right now? U can negotiate, since very few tourists? Let me know how it goes for ya:)
I agree. Was there in April it was perfect hardly any tourists but enough girls and open bars to have a good time. I’ll be there again in 14 days. Cheers, Enjoy your Holiday

Just had 3 weeks, fantastic, only ever been previously December - January, weather was far better than expected, more than enough bars open and I did my best with girls but way too many for me, so look forward to next July, roads nice and quite place a lot cleaner than high season, one moan, state of pavements, decent footwear required no slip slops
my ticket is for november. i paid $1500 from las vegas. there was a ticket for sale that was $750 round trip las vegas to bkk! in 2019 I paid $1700

2019...When China Air was 650$ to 900$ return. And lady drinks were 90 to 100BT.

Fuel prices are finally dropping and it looks like airfares are more reasonable for this autumn and winter. On the other hand hotel prices are rising as they fill more bookings.
Why are soapie so expensive when there aren't so much tourists back? can you comment on the prices of hotels, restaurants, girls too? any good deals to be had? (also how about other cities like phuket, bkk, chiang mai, thanks )

Hi Daz, Did you happen to notice if the Sunshine Hotel and Residences is open on Soi 8? It's where I stay whenever I'm in Pattaya, and I love the place, but I think it closed for a while and maybe is still closed. Great buffet breakfast!

Daz, As we all know! People are not stupid when it comes to $$$. Before Covid airfare was $600.00 rt from the U.S. Now it's double. Also, bar prices, Bar fines, have increased. Why sit in an airplane for 18 hours for something I can get much cheaper elsewhere. The sad thing is it always comes down to $$$$. Everyone in the Far Eastern culture responds to RESPECT quite well. So why doesn't the far eastern culture reciprocate back to the western culture and respect the western culture that they are not stupid! Remember. "NO MONEY? NO HONEY" It goes both ways. The GOLDEN RULE is, "The one with the Gold Rules!" Sorry but it's the way it is!
