Real waltz hours thank u craig
Only the best waltz hours of course
This is so sublime....Give us more of that stuff, we need it as a balm..
The Sublime is Disappointingly Beyond Loss
Absolutely LOVE this. Brings to memory my grandparents and their lives and stories. Thank you!!
When it's a waltz:
Great listening sound. Wonderful enjoyed evening indeed.
24:06 I have that 78, Till We Meet Again with Beautiful Ohio on the flip side. Waldorf-Astoria Hotel band if I remember correctly. I have it on a Canadian His Master's Voice ten inch record. Till We Meet Again is the most exquisite version of that I've ever heard, I never tire of hearing it. Beautiful Ohio is also a favourite, the version I like the best is Fritz Kriesler's. As classic waltz as you'll ever hear.
I believe thar is the exact 78 being played! it really is a lovely song :)
@@Wolfof1918 I'm working on a painting in my studio listening to your video. Usually, I'd be playing the 78s but flipping records every 2-4 minutes is kind of distracting so your video of your Victrola X is quite lovely. I have a 1920 Victrola XI that I play records on quite a bit but I've also got a 1907 Columbia BI Sterling with the big morning glory horn that probably gets the biggest workout.
Thanks man, now i know a name, i have base to search :D I identified one the songs i like on this video with your help !
27:17 - 30:17 is "Beantiful Ohio" as you said
Thank you for posting this! I LOVE this music!!
i love to study to this, thank you so much for uploading this type of content
I’m impressed with how good it sounds.
Fantastic!
this is beautiful
I've heard the piece in 09:06 from some old cartoons but I want to know the name so badly, it would be lovely if you can quote it for me! Thank you so much for posting all these music, I enjoyed them very much
@Ww2787 Thank you so much! Can I also have the name of the piece, too? Thank you again!!!
Piece is usually a word used to refer to a song, IE, “that piece of music” would mean “that song”
very cool :3
Good music
this is good
I like the Philco, and Edison convertible lamp next to the phonograph. Your reproducer isn't quite at the right angle, it should rotate clockwise until it clicks into position.
Oddly enough that’s about as far as it will go, I need to get a period correct reproducer as the original owners replaced the 1914 one with a 30s model.
@@Wolfof1918 Not an unusual modification, they clearly wanted better sound quality for their records. You ought to join the talking machine forum, I bet someone on there has the correct reproducer.
That’d be an excellent idea, I’ll have to check it out!
cup with "white star line" emblem....
i love you
It’s too bad I can’t just turn on this channel and listen without COMMERCIALS.. that just keep playing of you don’t skip them .. other than that great channel
Unfortunately I can't control that, due to the greedy record labels getting copyright abilities over my video :/
Step 1: Download the video as a MP3 file
Step 2: Listen whenever, wherever, without wifi or ads
@NotEliza ^^ 100% agree.
Or get a good Adblock
@@Bronasaxon how?
21:12 - 24:00 What song is that? It's lovely! I collect 78s myself and I'd love to get my hands on it!
“Memory Lane”
I am with you
Wandering through memory lane
Living the years laughter and tears over again
I am dreaming yet of the night we met
When life was a lovely refrain
You were so shy saying goodbye there in the dark
Only a glance full of romance and you were gone
Though my dreams are in vain
My love will remain
Strolling again memory lane with you
I am dreaming yet of the night we met
When life was a lovely refrain
You were so shy saying goodbye there in the dark
Only a glance full of romance and you were gone
Though my dreams are in vain
My love will remain
Strolling again memory lane.

@@renzo6490 Thank you very, very much!! In the time since I wrote that comment I have since acquired a Victrola of my own; I hope to soon spend many happy hours enjoying this song on a 78, among others!

is it okay if I use this as background music in a yt video im working on? So lovely
Feel free! Just add credit :)
@@Wolfof1918 will do, thank you!
can we have a playlist of the songs? :x
Will take me some time to get the original recordings from my old hard drive but I could splice out each song individually if you'd like
This is all the raw recording off my Victrola and I don't have the space anymore to record them again rn
@@Wolfof1918 No problem, that's just frustrating to fall in love with some songs and even Shazam can't recognize them 😭 24:00 and the next are my favorite x)
