TH-cam has unfortunately limited monetization on this video, preventing us from earning virtually any money on this episode. We have submitted an appeal to this decision, but in the meantime hope that you can support our team in spite of Big Tech censorship and suppression of pro-Palestine content directly at The Chris Hedges Report Substack: chrishedges.substack.com/

The atrocities in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine is tragically repeating the same patterns of past conflicts like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Yemen, where the public remains largely uninformed due to biased media, propaganda, and censorship. It’s crucial that we work to inform the uninformed by providing them with comprehensive, accessible, and uncensored resources.
We need an independent platform-something like a combined archive of AP, Wikipedia, and TH-cam-that stores historical context, proof of atrocities, and exposes double standards. It should focus on documenting everything from the Nakba and pre-1948 Palestine to the rhetoric of Israeli politicians, U.S. politicians’ complicity, the behaviour of corporations, and the crimes committed by the IDF. This platform should track journalists, politicians, and organizations that support or have supported these injustices, providing a clear record for future generations to understand the full context.
This effort needs to be grassroots: students, journalists, activists, and organizations collaborating to build a tool for long-term awareness, similar to what could have helped during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. If we had such a platform for those wars, we would have a clearer understanding of how the media and politicians misled the public.
The goal is to make show the full context (as much as possible and as much truth) about Palestine and other conflicts accessible to everyone, preventing future ignorance that costs lives. We need to save and archive everything-every article, video, tweet, and statement. A tagging system could help organize the material for easy access. The urgency is clear: we can’t afford to let history repeat itself with the same level of ignorance that allowed previous wars to happen. Let’s build a platform that exposes the full truth, now and for the future. Even encouraging people to save everything they find ill go a long way!!

@@pipfox7834 We all recognize the exceptions. They are typically just doing the right things because they feel those are the average things to do. They do not appear in photo-ops for being awarded medals of recognition. They contribute to the whole without craving attention. It is reasonable to assume that @paulheydarian1281, like most lucid folks, see the responsible actors daily out & about. Notwithstanding, the same two political parties are maintained by the people, knowing full well that the horrid human-sacrificing outcome is virtually identical irrespective of which party wins. It is the people's vote that supports the persistence of generalized moral devolution. If no one is willing to accept accountability, then everyone must anticipate the consequences of their indifference to human dignity. Self-censure is recognition of one's own errors, recognition of one's own errors is accepting accountability; turning a blind eye is self-deception, self-deception is an assurance that something wondrous will hit the fan for everyone to encounter. Finally, merely admitting it is 'my' or 'our' fault does not fix what we have injured or broken. The death & destruction that we have incessantly spread around the world is the fruit of our essential compact - our collective soul writ large.

We need to support them in whatever way we can. It is unfathomable what current world leaders are sacrificing just to prop Israël up to continue its horrific slaughter. And the suppression of support for Palestine is complete madness.

I have had the (mis)fortune to "live through" the times of Treblinka + (must reading Gitta Serenyi's Into That Darkness), the Korean War, the CIA-Shah episode, the butchering of Lumumba, the Vietnam War, and so much more. Truly it is "A tale told by an idiot, Full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing", but bringing untold sorrow and hardships to countless helpless people. Perhaps Mother Nature and climate change will bring an end to this "poor player (as he) struts and frets his hour upon the stage"." Out, out, brief candle"?

I wrote in chalk at STATA when I was in the doctoral math program at MIT "are we going to use our brilliance to support the war machine?" I wasn't aware of all of these details. I did hear about graduate mechanical engineering students working on projects they didn't know were intended as components for bombs.

    Hi Prahlad,
Thank you for standing up to Pls children, women and men.
I think you did your share of standing up to Pls cause. We need people like you in our camp ( anti imperialism) to be educated when the country needs you.
What is important is Your grant is not from these arm companies. They knew you and your thinking. You need to get back and focus on your research. American future generation needs open minded managers like you to run the country not genocidal extremists. We need to build on this capacity.
You can be more influential after finish your PhD but not working for these companies. You can hurt them greatly.

Manufacturing a narrative is exactly what is happening. Externalise, criminalise, normalise is a policy long adopted by repressive regimes to silence any opposition to their project. That a respected educational institution has been recruited to that purpose is insidious and deeply damaging to civic life.

Oh, Prelad Engar and Richard Soloman (sorry if I spelled your names wrong) Your courage, integrity, and intelligence can make the world a better place. Please do not be discouraged by the greedy, irrational, and immoral institutions that are trying to shut you up. I hope that we can finally organize an effective circle of support for people like you. Mr. Hedges has dedicated his life to creating that circle, and I count myself in it. But we need to do more. You deserve the highest respect and protection that an ethical society can offer.
