This is a review of the new Mercedes Benz S Class. This is high on the shortlist of my favorite cars I've reviewed. The Mercedes S Class got a full redesign for 2021.

​@@benspiritas7050 The Maybach is basically a top-trim of the S Class that's positioned above the S 580. In terms of product, it would be cross-shopped with the Bentley Continental GT and Rolls Royce Ghost, though it's still slightly less expensive than the Bentley and significantly less expensive than the Ghost.

Hi Chris... there is a cup holder in the back seats, you just need to press that console one more time. Also, that's not a phone holder, that's a pen holder for those cars who has a tablet and screens in the back seats.

The major issue with this car is the brake lockups sometimes when parking. You have to press harder on the gas pedal to be able to move the car. If you parked the car in parallel, good luck.

It’s remarkable actually, that for about the past 30 years, despite all the changes in the auto industry, The S Class is still here along with all of its competitors that existed back then too - The BMW, The Audi and The Lexus.

Imo The previous s550 dash, and taillights look more classy. But everything else is amazing. I also hate the fact the front end looks just like the lesser models.

Rear heated and recline seats, red light traffic view it shows you the hole intersection, it has voice controls just say hey Mercedes, 15 speakers, illuminated Mercedes symbols on ground, slide your finger on roof button to open, it can film your drive. You can put in your pinn or use finger recognition for your settings. It has vitally mode to keep you awake after long drives, can spray a fragrance in Cabin, hood raise 90 %, you have to pull hood lever 2 times to open hood no latch in front, can park it self, the rear cup holders are in that little drawer on arm rest it not for you phone, they pop out when you pull it further,swipe you hand across door handle and it unlocks doors, when you get close to the the handles automatically come out and they are lighted you show have let me do the walk around. It has a generator that takes over so you burn less gas while driving, it’s the generator that starts the car that’s why you don’t hear or feel it start up.
