Great job! Worked for my kids glove. Used 110C, which is 230F for 3 minutes. Repeated couple of times and it closes like a charm. I also recommend to open and close it constantly for about 10-15 minutes right after you took it from the oven.
OK True PX3 practice palm just came out of the oven. Put two hockey pucks in the palm channel then shrink wrapped it heading to bed. Update in the morning. I can say so far there is no sign of melt or burn or anything from that baking instruction.
Pro tip: If you want to bake your glove but are too sketched out about actually putting it in your oven in the kitchen, but don't have a skate oven, If you have a clothes dryer you're fine. Most skate ovens range from about 150° to 200°F. Most home clothes dryers on high setting are around 175°F. I put my gloves in a small dryer bag and throw them in the dryer with a bunch of clothes and run it on high. The glove gets nice and hot but not too hot that it would be damaged at all.👍🏼...... You don't really need to put clothes in with it. I only do that to silence it from bouncing around the dryer drum.
As many times as you'd like until it breaks in and starts to become easier to close. I'll keep it tied overnight and repeat it maybe once or twice more depending on how it's coming along.

Cookie sheet, towel protection, lower shelf point and 200 degrees.
Great vid, thanks. How many Watts would that be in a micro wave oven?
Does this work for intermidite gloves?
Yes
Thank you for making the video it’s dead on.
Nice work Coach. Kid always has issues with the glove closure. Tried a bunch of stuff prior. I’ll be baking this one and braking this one in solid.
First step: get myself an oven
Step 2 don't get caught by mom
Step 3: Have Dad as an alibi to explain smells. All else fails just blame Dad. Works for all my kids. 😂
Step 4 get a glove.
Instructions unclear my neighbors are calling the cops

Does putting the glove in a sauna work the same as in the oven?
I’m so happy I’m not the only guy who used a USB cord to tie my
Glove closed. 😂. Hey, great video!
Does a Vaughn glove also work with this
I think those are Vaughns
@@mightyshrigga_3826it’s a hyperlite
This lit her on fire
Would this work better/same as soaking it with the hottest water from the sink and then tying up?
You probably dont want to use lots of water you could ruin it
@@cartergreenway9188what is ice made from again??
yea but too much hot water will break the padding down and then there is no point in a glove@@ollievenson
This helped a bit actually a lot lol
i will try it but it is a fire haserd
Would a sauna work also
Probably. But the average person probably doesn't have access to a sauna at home.
How many times do you repeat this typically?

This is the worst how to bake chocolate chip cookies recipe ever! I bake my goalie’s glove at 180F for 10mins.
This was awfully close to the top element, I lower the middle rack so the glove sits more to the middle of the oven
Can we see you play
I was told it melts the plastic.
not 170 deg
Don't bake your glove. Find a steam room. Steam your glove.
Always worked for me over the years! I don't think the average person has a steam room at home as this tutorial is how I break in my glove at home
@@IncreasePerformance sauna?
@@IncreasePerformanceJust turn your shower on and leave it running for 10-15 mins
Didn’t have a apple, so I had to pull out the onion
Same same but different, right?
Hockey tape is easier than a cable or string
Everybody's got something at home
Jamie Benns cuzzo
This is how I broke in baseball gloves for years
Hot water fixed my glove in less than a day.
my glove burned
😦 that really sucks. How bad was it?
No it didn't
Is this sarcasm or real
is this a joke or are you being serious 😂
I’m serious 😂 this legitimately works and I’ve done it lots
My glove burnt in 3 minutes
