My old glove was broken in when I got it and now I just got a new (pre-owned) one and it isnt broken in at all. Not making any glove saves and can barely close it. This video was very helpful for fixing that issue
I always fill the pocket with tennis balls after a game and tie it shut with skate lace for 24 hours while it's wet from the game. Then I wedge it open for 24 hours.
What would be cool is to see a plaque on the wall between those two big pictures holding Jaxsons Puck for when he scored a goal and a shutout to make history against the Wolves.
Any feedback on why you break-in the material in the T as referenced around 02:40? I've always felt there was a puck-stopping advantage to having that area stiffer
You're not wrong. However most youth goalies just need to soften things up at all costs. AND on True or CCM 600 breaks, focusing on that spot seems to help. Certain gloves it's not necessary
I just got an eflex 5.9. I've been storing it open with a object, storing it closed with object. Baking it, clamping it, working it out for days. How long does it take to break in?
I Stuff Glove w Puckz Really Pack'it ........ strech pocket right out wrap it shut w Hockey tape ......... soak in Hot Bath over Night ........... Repeat azz Needed 👍
The most helpful video I've seen on breaking in gloves. Thanks!
Agreed
Great video! Glad to see someone else using clamps. I also wrap an electric heating pad around glove to help heat it for break in.

How long do we put the glove into the oven?
When I heated my glove on low temperature it burned after 1 minute (Bauer m5 pro) should I use shower heat and steam instead
