For every like this gets I will do one push-up! I will be counting all the likes I get for the next 2 weeks. I will upload a video of me doing the push-ups too
It’s encouraging to see Coach Eugene struggle on this exercise because I too struggle mightily with ring archer pushups! Great video, will have to keep this in mind next push workout with the archer.
The one arm push up is a good beginner goal, not because beginners can do it, but because you can reach the goal faster than other stuff like planche etc. It also has decent carry over to the 90 degree hold, which in turn has carry over to other skills.
thanks for the vid, im currently working towards 1 arm push ups, but never tried archer push ups, will add them to my workout! (just realised i wasnt even subbed to you, fixed that)
I’ve been doing these archers with my feet on a ball in a chair to add more instability. It is extremely harder the flatter you get the outrigger arm. But the instability that rings to the table makes everything a lot harder, especially the longer the straps are on the rings can make a simple exercise three times harder
I can do calisthenics just as well as Daniel. Well, the only problem I have is this thing called gravity that gets in my way. Okay, Daniel, how do you make gravity stop so you can do all those things? Come on, Daniel, you know you have a secret to this! LOL.
I get a better stretch and pec activation doing just weighted ring pushups. I think my record for good form one arm pushups was 16 or 20. I will say my triceps probably benefited more than I previously thought before I started training for OAPU.
Hello, I absolutely love your content as it relies on up to date research and is oriented towards calisthenics and "weighted calisthenics" ; and seeing as you are both an athlete and a physiotherapist I really hope you can help me with a problem I have been dealing with my whole sports life (almost 20 years). I am extremely prone to tendonosis. Every single time, I find myself having to abandon my goals, lower both volume and intensity and do rehab exercises. It takes time, is boring and completely destroys any strength, muscle mass and explosiveness until I'm back to square one and have to do everything all over again. This cycle has been making me an eternal intermediate... But enough with the rant.... I've only been trying it for a few training sessions, but can the Heavy Slow Resistance training method allow people to ignore tendonosis, keep the weights heavy and keep the muscle mass and strength going up despite the presence of tendonosis ? Is the secret to just stop using any tendon elasticity and speed until the tendon heals? Do you think you could make a video on the HSR method ? That would be great. I can't seem to prevent tendonosis.... So maybe it's possible to just keep training over it with a few adjustments?
For every like this gets, I’ll do an archer pushup on rings. I’ll post a video of that too on my channel. I’ll count likes for 4 weeks Come-on. Give me a target💪🔥
Hey Daniel, I'm writing this on your most recent video in hopes you'll see it. I have been suffering from costochondritis affecting my lifts. I saw your video from 5 years ago about this issue, can you tell me if you still stand by everything in that video? Or if since then, you would have different recommendations? THanks
I enjoyed the video, but it never really talks about one arm push ups, it only addresses the archer push ups... so the title is misleading. Other than that, great video.

Archer Pushups on rings are 3 exercises in one:
1 arm pushup
Flyes
Pushups
Perfect to add volume to your push day
He's right in the beginning there. People aren't impressed by Archer push-ups till they try them.
This is a decent isometric excercise for the biceps on the straight arm

Imma keep it real with you Daniel... "Beginners" do not one arm push-up
They don't but I know I sure did. 😂

Eugene is hilarious, you guys should do more collab vids
Nicely explained & demonstrated guys, will try!

Fitness FAQ must have been spying on me. I did 5 one arm push-ups on each arm a day before this posted.

I will do after practice

love the aussie humour on this one
an interesting thing i realized. The kettlebell clean and press will give you the ability to be able to do a one arm inclined push up.
Incredible physique! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm doing the handstand pro program. What's the difference between Cast Wall Walks and Wall Walks? Can't find it in the program videos

Thats what i wanted now fr
What can i Do against Tennis and Golferelbow
Go see a physio therapist and do proper rehab
I can now do 3 one arm push ups
20 seconds in!
Am I the only one whose arms get scratched by the ring's tape?
No but the body adapts well. If it causes discomfort just wear arm sleeves
Tennis wrist bands
I can’t wait to get ripped so I can use the same jokes as these guys
There is not a single one arm push up there and secondly we all have a set of rings in our bedroom, as beginners it's the thing to have.
Thibk I would be struggling with one arm push ups as a 15 year old boy if I had any equipment apart from weighted bags.😂😂
How tf u staying up at 1am to post this
i feel like this is the first time this camera man is filming lol 3:30
Hey, Daniel felt sorry for an elderly woman who is suffering from Parkinson's. So he kindly gave her the job of being the cameraman.
so many bots commenting lol
check the email
I like how this dude just shows simple exercise but then goes in deep for easy views what a censorship sellout lol joking 😂
No offence…you love yourself way too much
