Couple things that get asked a lot that I neglected to cover in the Video: 1. It's a Chain Final Drive. Not a belt like all the other H-Ds. Chain is much more suited for off-road application when dirt and mud gets on it. 2. It does not have a quick shifter like some of the other competitors have. This allows you to shift the bike quickly without use of the clutch. 3. The front wheel is a 19 inch wheel with a 17 inch in the rear. Comment below if I need to add anything to this list.
I sat on one. You will fit just fine. i am 6'2 with a 33 -34 inseam. I have ridden all the other ADV bikes. This is a total winner for Harley if it doesn't somehow blowup on them. The bike is able to shrink down to the point without affecting the suspension while riding about 3-4 inches so, if your a 29-30 inseam you should fit fine. I know a girl that rides a bmw gs1200 and she is 5'3... it's more about technique.
Working at a Harley dealership, the training we had on the Pan America was incredible. The new engine is off the charts and the Adaptive Ride Height is a game changer for ADV riders.
Been waiting on something radically different from HD for years. I've ridden HD's for 4 decades and have owned many BMW GS's because HD didn't make that kind of bike. Now that they do, I'm #2 at the local dealership for delivery. Can't wait! Thanks Matt, you just poured gasoline on the fire!
Hey Hiflyer. I put a deposit down today. # 3 on their list. Did they give you an OTD price? I could not get one in writing. Supposed to happen in a week though. Not able to confirm when demo bike will be in or accessories. Hope it all comes in May.
@@pja9421 I want the standard, they have that ordered at MSRP, if one of the two they have coming in May is not fully loaded then I will take that one. They can't give me a price on it yet as they don't know what is on it. if I don't take that one, I will be waiting until end of May or first part of June for the standard.

I own a BMW 1250GS and I think this will be a fun bike and a cool option. We all need options and I’m glad that Harley has jumped into this market. Time will tell so let’s give it some time and let’s enjoy the ride from all of the makes and models that we all ride.
This bike has caused more stir here in the UK than any bike I can remember doing for years. H-D are reasonably well served by their dealer network here (but still nothing like in the U.S.) which will definitely help sales. This has been what has hampered Indian here, however good or bad their bikes are. (And some of them are very good). H-D has some great features such as the suspension lowering at a stop which is an industry game changer imo. The engine looks a peach and will hopefully serve them well in the future especially with a bigger displacement for the touring and cruiser markets. Good luck to H-D, they deserve to do well with the PA, after all the pain they have been through lately, whether they have brought some of it on themselves or not.
Not sure about 'well served' in the UK. Dealers are closing all over the place. Preston HD closed this year, so now it is a trail to get to Leeds or Manchester. A horrible trip through city centres, no fun for a country boy.
If I buy one, I'm going to get it from your dealership. Fly in, pick it up, and take the scenic route back east through Hwy 1 up the coast, across the Sierras into Nevada, over to Utah, down to North Arizona, New Mexico, back up through the Rockies then highway the rest of the way with a few backroads in between. Much respect for the CEO and other employees test riding, giving feed back to make what so far seems like an awesome bike. That was one heck of a video brother. Everything you would want to know and then some. Very good job. I done learnt me somethang today watching this TH-cam stuff.
The styling is fantastic, the fairing shouts HD. The modes available is going to be a hit and the seat adjustment at stop is a game changer for me. HD came out with a bike that has shocked the ADV market and shutdown-up the naysayers that ripped this bike for two years! Congrats to HD can't wait for the Custom & Street Fighter. Great video!😎
I’m an FXR guy. So, I really dig the fairing. And I liked the Fatbob light, so I like it! It’s not “beautiful”. All ADV bikes are weird insects, this is HD’s take and it’s form follows function.
@@Ljbuddy12 I'm willing to bet that you're not in the adv bike market anyhow.... performance, handling, and tech specs are far more important than looks - diametrically opposed to the bagger/cruiser market, where style is everything. Have you looked at any of the other adv bikes? They're all butt-ugly.
As a GS rider I think this bike looks impressive. I hope it is a huge hit for them. However if this bike is going to appeal to guys like me, you are going to have to change the dealer experience. No hang tags, quoted prices $5,000 above list, and long negotiations with the sales manager to get back to list. Not for me. Harley needs more dealers like you.
I ride KTM. I would be more than happy to unload one of my KTM for this. Good job on going so far in-depth on details. You crushed all the other videos that are out.
EXCELLENT video Matt! This is exactly what an adv rider is looking for. I have owned 11 H-D’s in my life and own a KTM adventure bike next to my FXRT styled Lowrider S. I ride hard and this Pan video impressed me. When I buy one I may have to purchase it from you and ride it across the country back home. Thanks for understanding what a true motorcyclist wants for a model overview.
Respect. A very comprehensive winner. I think the bike is definitely a winner, especially for vertically challenged riders like myself at 5'8. The S is definitely worth going for if you can stump up the extra cash if you're a short rider. Thanks.
Pretty good humor when the bike has never been seen or ridden by anybody but the Harley-Davidson company they're already telling us that it's going to be the world's best ADV bike. It's great Harley-Davidson realizes that they can't compete in the ABV Market unless they bring their bikes up to the modern standards that everything's supposed to be at. So they do know they're ripping you off with their cruiser bikes it's just that the cruiser Harley Riders are used to getting ripped off
Great bike. Great price. Cheers for this technical explanation Matt. Love seeing HD making something new and so amazing!! Look forward to your rideouts!! 👍
Count me in, I had put a deposit on the new Multistrada with the new engine by Ducati back in November. Just cancelled and GP Motors refunded my deposit, I wanted something different than my M8 Road Glide. Very excited for the new direction of this bike.
Appreciate the effort you put into making this video it really went into great detail. Exciting to see this bike and appears to be a success, with pre-orders maxed out. A fabulous sign!
Great review Matt. As a present Harley & KTM Adventure bike owner I'm pleased to finally see a complete and honest review of the new Harley Adventure bike. But there are a few take aways from this as well. Things I wish Harley would do for every potential Harley Pan American owner. 1-Offer more color options. 2-Offer a quick shifter. 3-Offer a 21" front & 18" rear spoke wheels. 4-Offer the lowering suspension at stops for both bike models. 5-Offer a mid-weight model in the 750-900cc range for more off-road abilities. With the 21/18" wheels of course.
@@TheNightlessStar past presidents of Harley Davidson have pulled some really stupid stunts such as Kieth Wandell who killed Buell Motorcycles and bought MV Agusta for $109 million then give it back to the previous owners for 3 euros! Buell was already at this point with the Buell Ulysses in 2006, they could have already been 15 years into this had Wandell was fired before he did all the damage that he did.
Matt, well done on the technical review. I am a long time rider with multiple HD's and dirt bikes (which includes a 790 Adventure). My sons ride and one of them is pretty tall/big - he's a die hard Harley guy but I raised him as an off-road rider. This bike really has his interest - thanks.
This is hands down the Best review on the internet for this bike. Thanks for putting it together. I like that it has a cable clutch. They are more easily repaired if you break it in the middle of nowhere. I also think you get better feel out of a cable clutch vs hydraulic.
I'm 5'8" and I'm good on my roadglide. I might have to go to a lower seat if I got one of the Pan America bikes. And why wouldn't you go to bike night on one. I've seen people show up on groms.

Hoping this is a game changer for harley. Also hoping maybe some of that tech with trickle down to the cruiser line. Thanks for the details. The reveal video left alot of info I was looking for. I like the looks but it sure does look like hd contacted hoover vacuum for styling cues. Lol
Yep, would love a Road King Special with this motor in it. This bike puts the rest of their lineup to shame as far as capability for the money but can definitely still see the appeal of their cruiser lineup. You would have to spend thousands in addition to a new touring bike to get it to keep up with the Pan America in a straight line though.
Excellent ! Just excellent !! What a fantastic review Matt. I’ve ridden most brands out there during the course of my life. After being introduced to Harley’s in the mid 90’s by a dealership 2 miles down the Rd, my motorcycling career transformed. I’ve owned no less than 20 Harley’s since buying my first. Riding H-D has given me many years of riding happiness. I’ve forged many wonderful relationships with those who work at the dealership. My Buddy and I are going to buy a couple of the PA’s and take a nice long adventurous road trip out West this summer. This bike is a masterpiece, I hope they sell a million of them ! Thanks again for this magnificent video !!
Good looking and seems actually flawless. Extremely high tech. Been saying, this along with the LIVE Wire, has put HD right out front. I will highly recommend this (Matt's) video as the fact sheet for this brand new American made performance gem. ✔
This may have already been asked but I’m curious to know what’s the lowest seat hight achieved with the low seat with low setting and low mode suspension?
I remember in the summer of 1969 I test road a 125 cc two stroke HD trail bike. Nothing like that in their inventory today. Nice to see the Pan Am adventure bike introduced into HD's line-up. Adventure bike or the ADV look is in.
Yup - the V-Rod was a great engine in the wrong bike. Should have been packaged in something more like the recently deceased Bronx.... it wouldn't appeal to the traditional H-D guy, but it would almost certainly have brought in other customers
@@wwb7091 and there in lies the problem, the customer base. They shoot everyone in the foot and hate change, HD gets cucked by them and doesn't try anything new, which then leads to everyone else laughing at them. All because the fan base consists of lots of boomers that jack themselves off to outlaw porn and think they're hot shit while they're on a $30k loan. I hope this new bike changes this.
So much for Harley building low tech, low powered bikes from the past. What will the haters complain about now? Great job Matt. Best review anywhere. Thanks so much for doing this.
Wow. Thank you for all the great and in depth information. I learned a lot today and although I am not into adventure riding, I am excited to see and maybe test ride this bike.
At 4:43 you see the radiator being hosed down. Completely covered by mud, what do you do out in the wild when there is no hose to make the radiator functional again?
Excellent job with the video, Matt!! I appreciated all the details regarding the engine. So far, so good, I think Pan America will be a hit for H-D, but I must ride the machine first to confirm my opinion. I am looking forward to adding an adventure bike with my M8 powered H-D Road Glide Special and was very disappointed when I test drove the BMW 1250 GS. So, I am ready to test drive this machine and select a winner between the two.
Thank you! Thanks for watching. Yes, it will be interesting to see how they compare. I've ridden the BMW a fair amount and it's a rad bike. I think the Pan America will overall be better though.

Glad to see HD leaning towards off-road riding more. A bit of a change from street bikes. This bike is a definite game changer and puts HD back on top. Can't wait to hear your take on actually riding one. Stay safe, ride hard.
I'm in Australia in the outback where there is a whole ton of offroad riding to choose, everything from mountains and rivers to dry desert sand and everything in between, including some fantastic on-road riding, currently I use my 18 Softail Slim for the on-road part and occasionally cruising slowly around the bush, but this Pan America will be the ultimate all rounder - I cannot wait to get one, thanks Matt for a great informative video

Your review is extremely well done and satisfying. You should have made the official launch video. At launch I was scouring the internet for details and it was frustrating. I found the cable clutch with no quickshifter and the chain drive and the wheel sizes. All motorcycles were off-road back when there were no roads, that's called the theory of duh. That's a very well done bike. I think it will be a successful victory for Harley and America. Buel was the best thing Harley did before this point, even though they hamstrung the series by relegating them to use air cooled sportster engines, yuck. However, I prefer sport tourers for the pavement. With more power, that shorter wheelbase, smaller front wheel, and my wet weight is under 450 pounds after upgrades. The Pan America probably won't scratch that power itch for me in the twisties. HD has no aftermarket titanium decat race exhaust or quickshifter or air intake or autotuner. Now maybe if they do their upright Bronx Streetfighter model and make a touring version... but I doubt they match KTM or Ducati for power. The Indian Scout might be the only American cruiser I would like, but it's not as good as the Victory Octane was. Owned a Ducati XDiavel, but no practical good looking luggage options or wind protection, and cruisers hurt my back and hips. Who knows, I might pick up a used Pan America one day.
@@patw9175 Simple...I've been riding Harleys for 38 years and they have gone as far as they can with air cooled engines imho. It's time for them to go water cooled and I would welcome the change.
@@jc5604 Harley closed Buell in October or November in 2019. Keith Wandell president of Harley at the time came to the factory in June 2019 and told the workers that Harley was behind them 100% and they were going to fund them with their development of future projects like the dirt bike. October he pulled the rug out. Harley at the time bought MV Agusta for $109 million then turned around and returned it to the MV family for 3 euros. Wandell should have been strung up by the investors.
Harley can make competitive bikes if they want to. Love the huge, adaptive headlight and electronic suspension. STANDARD RDRS like it should be. No stage 4 needed!! Good job. No brainer to go with Special
@@TH3G0ODGUY tbh both frames are probably a bad choice a new frame would be better call it by either name to appease whichever fanboys they want to service. But bringing back the Dyna/FXR as a platform would be ideal something that fits between the sportster and Softail and is more performance focused, without making it look like a “future bike.” What they need is an updated engine on a simple easy to mod platform.
Glad Matt took the time to go into such detail on the motor. With all the new tech going into this I really hope HD delivers something that lasts...they really owe it to the buyers of this bike who are putting a lot of faith in HD engineering given their track record with new tech applications...anyone else laugh when he mentioned cable clutch (sorry M8 owners) ?
Harley has shown serious commitment issues with all of their projects outside of the cruiser segment. Many of their former customers have been forced to move on.
I am so excited for this motorcycle. When it was first announced, I really wasn't sold on the look, but it has grown on me since then. I'll be buying a Special as soon as it hits the dealership floor. Great video, Matt!
Yep, and if the online chatter in the womens ADV groups about this feature is any indication, alot of them might be us female riders. Can't wait to test ride. Might have to gain a few lbs though as they assume a 180lb rider to get to gain that 2 inches lol.
When this bike launches it will be the only good bike harley makes. This is a great video man. This is the first time in my life i wanted to buy a harley.
Just wait for the 1250 custom. It will have the same motor and hopefully the same power or more. I can’t wait for that to launch. I may even trade in my Softail Lowrider S.
@@dicktrickle8137 my mt10 has more power less weight and is just as comfortable. The 1250 custom is a downgrade. I just like this Harley because it looks like a great adv bike. With the tech. I'd still buy a Honda Africa twin over this though. Same bike for less money.
@@2twolow not the same class of bikes but ok. I used to ride super sports but got tired of being uncomfortable when just cruising around and every time I touched a part of the bike the plastics always creaked like my sons toys and I hated that. @@dicktrickle8137 a mt10 is not a sport bike. Its not covered in plastic. It is meant for cruising for long distance. Its just a cruiser with sport bike power.
@@2twolow I understand that. It’s considered a naked bike, but it’s not a cruiser and it isn’t classically styled. My entire original comment was geared more towards if you were into say the Indian scout which most people always bring up in the cruiser comparison. If you like the scout then just wait for the 1250 custom with hopefully 50 more HP. If you’re not into that then of course you aren’t gonna care. MT-10s are sport naked bikes. They’re not super sports but they damn sure aren’t cruisers either. They are in a class of their own really. Sport naked. My HD has a 5 gallon tank and HD touring bikes I believe have 6 gallon tanks so I suppose you could do long distance on an MT-10, but I doubt that’s what they were designed for
The only reason you got this bike made was because of those "Harley Haters" having the brains and balls to point out how HD have been falling short with their bikes for decades now. 😂👌

Congratulations Harley Davidson on the Pan Am...now hurry up and release the 1250 Custom so I can choose which one to buy 🤔😍.
Nice review. One point though, when you raise something it is a given that it goes up. The same thing applies when you "lower something down." Redundancy is desirable in some mechanical devices, less so in prose.
Great review. The bike is earmarked at my local dealership in May. Any idea on the warranty. Do you think the dealerships that offer this bike already have trained mechanics for warranty repair. A really different platform for H-D right now.
Curious about any heat issues while in slow traffic or higher temp days riding. I see a cooling fan on he the left that looks like it’s directed at you. Also I can’t help but worry just how wet can these bikes get before it affects the electronics. I sat on one yesterday and had me thinking of listing my Husky 701 today.
Great video Matt. Even a grumpy old schooler like myself can appreciate a good thing when I see it. Harley better stock up on the midnight oil because they'll be working around the clock filling orders for this one.
i pre ordered my Pan America Special in October 2020. My dealer will get my Pan America Special in Vivid black with both factory options in July 2021. I also ordered the knee pads and the sport side cases.(in the Netherlands the first Pan America will come June 2021)
Thanks for the detailed review Matt. Best presentation of the engine I have seen. Was at my local dealer today dropping off a deposit for the PA Special. I do have a question. They did not know when the demo bike will arrive- April was the guess. Also could not tell me what their first shipment would be. Cant HD give its dealers specific dates now that the release has been out? I know web says May. I could not get an out the door price- was told I'll have that within a week. Seems that info should be available to dealers. They indicated MSRP, plus normal fees. Also not able to nail down a date for accessories. The luggage will be critical to have available. I want the S.E slip on too. Are dealers getting an allotment of PA's or can you order the number you want?
Thanks all 33:05 Matt Mega great review!! Definitely a winner in my books. I wouldn’t mind getting a Pan America and taking a road trip to Jalisco Mexico this bike will definitely handle the roads out there! Can’t wait till you get the Pan America to see more great videos.
Ladies and Gentlemen. Boys and Girls. Another quality video. Matt continue to blow out it’s completion. Keep the excellent content coming Matt. Blessings.
Very thorough explanation. I’m curious about the chain.. Mostly the maintenance required. Little things like; keyless ignition? About the panniers? Size & quality? H-D manufactured? And the seat of course, how comfortable after 10 hour ride? Pillion comfort etc. Let’s face it many of us will two up this bike & highly likely maxed it out with luggage. How much does the alternator puts out? 600 watts I hope! But yeah Matt I’m OCD’ing on the chain lol! 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t own a Harley, but the bike looks dope. Hope it does well. If they would’ve came out with the Bronx I would’ve for sure bought my first Harley....
Great video, lots of info all in one place. In the beginning you mentioned accessories, I thought that would include luggage options. I rode a '95 XLH 1200 for 20 years and 106,495 miles. As my age is catching up with me I still wanted a sporty bike but a little more comfort, the HD BT and touring bikes were too "soft" and not for me. I got a used BMW R1200RT and like it a lot but I do miss my Harley. If this bike had luggage that had more street/touring style and less ammo case/mike crate styling I would be back on a Harley in a flash.
Fantastic Matt, I think this, strangely, is your BEST descriptive video! I'm really excited because Harley is getting BETTER every year with new features from the starting point of the already universally loved Milwaukie 8 engine - a marvel. Well, these are the same engineers producing the Revolution Max engine for long-distance tourers who need the bike's ability to handle washboard, gravel, off-road, sandy, or pan-arctic tundra conditions. This is the perfect bike for those who want to travel to Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyaktuk. I'm not a mechanic, but your description was so well done I think I ought to be, or more accurately you, teaching mechanical engineering at CalTech! Way to go - this was BOSS!!
Never been a fan of HD in my 20+ years of riding all types of bikes in all sorts of venues, however I will state if you ride an HD or a scooter or a peddle bike as long as it puts a smile on your face more power to you. Hopefully this bike is a hit, always nice to see an American company doing well.
I’m very excited 😝 about this bike . I started out in the dirt at 10 years old . I’ve always wanted a lighter trail bike for on & off road use to compliment my 2020 RGS. Now I have a truly awesome option from HD that is reasonably priced & looks incredible! Great review BTW! 👍
I like this approach to the market and I love the technology incorporated in the PA. I just wish H-D would build this for folks that don’t have a 32” or greater inseam. I’d buy one in a heartbeat!
This is what I think about every single adventure bike on the market. Do they really think anyone besides their expert test riders are going to be jumping them five feet in the air?
Great video Matt. Finally, after all these years Harley gets it really right. I'd bet it was engineered in Germany based on seeing it in person. I've a few Harleys over the years but ended up in love with the BMW K bikes but this is a giant step in the right direction. Well done HD.
I'm admittedly not a Harley-Davidson guy - 8 bikes in the garage, zero Harleys. It's mostly because I'm not a cruiser guy. I also admit that I was a bit skeptical that HD was launching a "me too" ADV product, but this video cleared that bias from my mind. HD did its homework, and this looks like a winner. Let's hope the build quality is great and the launch goes smoothly. Looking forward to the real-world reviews.
I’m so excited about this bike ! Though it’s beyond my riding level & comfort , I’m still eager to see this at the local dealership . I love seeing them branching out in a different direction , far from what most people are used to .
Couple things that get asked a lot that I neglected to cover in the Video:
4. Clutch is cable not hydraulic like the competitors.
@@rgh622 True point but I covered that in the video.

I’m an FXR guy. So, I really dig the fairing. And I liked the Fatbob light, so I like it! It’s not “beautiful”. All ADV bikes are weird insects, this is HD’s take and it’s form follows function.
@@roymoderatto Form following function is a Harley hallmark when they get down to brass tacks at least.
Whoever designed the headlight should be fired. It's is hideous and ruins the look of the bike! No go for me
@@Ljbuddy12 I'm willing to bet that you're not in the adv bike market anyhow.... performance, handling, and tech specs are far more important than looks - diametrically opposed to the bagger/cruiser market, where style is everything. Have you looked at any of the other adv bikes? They're all butt-ugly.
The special with laced wheels and Knobbys looks freaking awesome
This will be a total hit. It’s actually pretty fairly priced too!
Idiot! why tell them it's fairly priced? That's how you get them to increase it!
@@JokerTheVlad Don’t buy it then.

Yea, I think they hit all the targets that riders were looking for on this one.
14:29 Wow...almost lost it on the turn. Great recovery! I'm sold.
Obviously, HD did better job with PanAm entering the BMW soil, then BMW entering HD soil with its strange R18.
The R18 was a re-interpretation of a 1938 model, for reference.
What a joke, check your history.
@@Tripped11 so? It doesn’t change the fact that R18 is strange bike with hot engine close to your feet and uncomfortable seating position.
The R18 isn't BMW's first cruiser is the point I think people are trying to make.
@@Tripped11 That is what they claim. But to me it is just a wannabe Harley which they have over designed as usual. Odd looking thing.
Thanks.
The 3D imagery and inside engine shots with explanation were so cool! Thanks Matt. This engine looks beyond crazy, so happy for Harley.
Thanks for the comment. We will definitely be doing some rides.
My local dealer has two sold already! I just picked up a 91 FXRS-convertible with looooow miles, but I hope the pan am is a roaring success!
I am excited about this bike, I think Harley Davidson has a winner here.
HD's new CEO gets A+ for releasing this bike!!
You mean, for not canceling it? Ot was in motion before he took over.
@@Dave-sw2dm same diff.
This bike was will into the development cycle before the current CEO came onboard. And the specs and price were set long ago.
@@nickpapagiorgio8038 What's the argument? The OP said the CEO gets credit for "releasing" it not having a hand in the creative process.
@@TheNightlessStar past presidents of Harley Davidson have pulled some really stupid stunts such as Kieth Wandell who killed Buell Motorcycles and bought MV Agusta for $109 million then give it back to the previous owners for 3 euros!
That is one hell of a revue Matt. Well done 👍👍👍
Thank you! And thanks for watching.
Curious why the laced wheels would be preferred. I know nothing of ADV bikes.
Stronger for off road. Spokes take stress better than mag. Also easier to repair if single spikes break vs cracked mags.
I'd like to see a police version of this bike.
Shorts cops disagree.
👍
You just did. The Pan Am Special with a different paint scheme and light kit.
Why? So you can get a ticket off the road as well......
It's the fastest bike Harley has ever made.
The suspension automatically lowers for you at a stop with this bike.
Interesting. I thought it was factory installed on the special. Good to know
@@fanofhumidity I haven't gone to a lower seat on the roadglide but I think only the cvo lower seat. Was just thinking I may need a lower seat on the pan america.

@@moonrunrs I've rode dirt bikes that I had to tip toe on but I've got on some that I easily flat footed. This bike looks awesome and I'd gladly ride one if given the chance.
Does the adaptive ride height stay low at low speed maneuvers? Do you have to come to a complete stop before it lowers?
I'm excited by this bike, I hope it does well
Lots of info Matt thankyou very much, I must have missed it but does either model have cruise control? Again great vid.
Both have it standard. I mentioned it real quick.
Matt, If dealers are only going to get 2 of theses bikes. How long will it be where you can realistically purchase one?
holy shit Matt, awesome video you put together! even if I am in the market for a Low Rider S hahahaha... keep up the Stella work, from Australia!

Watch the video
Woohoo! I've been patiently waiting for your in-depth coverage Matt, good job 👍
Glad I didn’t disappoint. 🤙🏼 thanks for watching
I remember in the summer of 1969 I test road a 125 cc two stroke HD trail bike. Nothing like that in their inventory today. Nice to see the Pan Am adventure bike introduced into HD's line-up. Adventure bike or the ADV look is in.
Harley Davidson will sell slot more of these than they sold V-Rods
I agree
By a very big margin.
The VRod was an under appreciated bike. HD riders hated it because it wasn't a HD. Non HD riders didn't look at it because it was a HD.
Great video Matt. I love your stuff but this was one of your best ones in a while. Thanks!

Appreciate the detail Matt. I love the look.
I love this bike.
I hope this engine makes it into the FL touring bikes.
Maybe you should consider a Goldwing with automatic transmission.

Dear Harley. That engine + dyna frame. New Dyna. Keep the sportster with the classic evo. Wheelie guys will love them.
Why bring back the dyna frame? If you are going to bring back a frame at least bring back the FXR

Very thorough explanation. I’m curious about the chain.. Mostly the maintenance required. Little things like; keyless ignition? About the panniers? Size & quality? H-D manufactured? And the seat of course, how comfortable after 10 hour ride? Pillion comfort etc. Let’s face it many of us will two up this bike & highly likely maxed it out with luggage. How much does the alternator puts out? 600 watts I hope! But yeah Matt I’m OCD’ing on the chain lol! 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve signed up to test ride one of these bikes this weekend at my local dealership.
I don’t own a Harley, but the bike looks dope. Hope it does well. If they would’ve came out with the Bronx I would’ve for sure bought my first Harley....
I admire you for simply talking for more than 30 minutes of your impressions for the bike 🏍
Sounds like they hit all notes Matt. Anything you would of added or subtracted or done different?
Nothing comes to mind. This bike looks amazing.
Incredible, I’m sold! My next bike for sure. Super version of course
Now I have a truly awesome option from
