Those that I use are spring-loaded side cutters. It's taken years of trial-and-error to get the right fit & grip. Not too heavy but strong enough to cut through the wire. Many men have offered up their sound advice but in the end I just had to test drive until I was fully satisfied. Hope this helps, Astar
