I thought it was going to be an instrumental half way through... And then the lyrics came in and I wasn't disappointed it was very apropos... Thanks for sharing that

You've done reactions mostly to older Band-Maid songs - why not take a look at their 2-for-one video of the songs "Manners" and "Black Hole" live (online concert), from their most recent album Unseen World from January 2021. Alternatively, they just released a video on YT that will only be available for a limited time; it's a song from their recent online live Christmas ACOUSTIC concert.
All right I'm still not sure why I like it so much but I do... I don't want to admit it but I do... I usually don't like things that are too heavy But that was really enjoyable.
Other, less-heavy songs you might enjoy: Endless Story, Catharsis (acoustic), About Us, Freedom, Wonderland, Choose Me, start over, Before Yesterday, Daydreaming. These are just the ones with videos on their channel.
I just love Misa the bass player. She is always all over the neck with some awesome licks. That said.. they all rock with so many great songs. And, you don’t even have to understand Japanese.

Or a classic groovy mid-tempo monster called MANNERS. Or an onslaught of Rock with MV's: Warning, Blooming, Dice, Rinne, Choose Me. Just to name a few of the dozens upon dozens of great songs in their 110+ songs catalog. BTW, today is Saiki's birthday. I’ve discovered this band about 6 months ago. Totally brings me back to the first time as a kid when I heard KISS. And this is objectively 10x better. I think they even have vocal harmonies. They match the energy, the melodies, fun. More talented too.

Great to see you do Band Maid again! I recommend “Manners/Black Hole” official live video. Since you like lyrics, that video has official subtitles. Black Hole, in particular, is lyrically interesting. Both songs are fantastic, and are off their newest album, “Unseen World”.
Band Maid is the best and most live exciting act I have seen since Led Zeppelin. And in fact Jimmy Page is a big fan of Akane the drummer and has been to see them live an got a pic with her. Domination and Freedom live clips 2020 tour will show you why.
This was recorded on February 14, 2020. It was the final performance of their "World Domination Tour". Less than a month later, the COVID pandemic hit, and they haven't performed in front of a live audience since (they have had some live streaming shows in the interim, with no audience). Also, Play was the 21st song of a 23-song set. So they obviously kept their energy up through the end of the show.

Great reaction. Band-Maid writes a lot of songs with places for the audience to join in, it's what makes their live shows more than just standing there and listening, they expect the audience to be part of the band and to know when the audience's part is and you better get your part correct.
If anyone's thinking Band-Maid is just now coming into their own from all their recent drops, please remember: Early Band-Maid songs from years past -- and I mean nearly every single song, like "Play"! -- are just as hot and fresh as the new, current releases! So the songs you haven't heard yet from their 118 song catalog sound, in essence, brand new.
Saiki indeed sings, “シェイクボデイ/sheiku bodei” (“shake body,” as rendered by a native Japanese speaker ). About half of the lyrics are English. Take another listen. The sing-along sections inviting audience participation in BAND-MAID songs are a typical feature of Power Metal, a genre more popular in Europe than in the USA.
