Pancakeswap has a user friendly UI, just UI things but huge advantage to gain user bases. I tried sushi, cake and uniswap today and pancake cute design pages looking very appealing, reminding me of playing eth digital cat several years ago.
I just bought pancake. They have many new pairs. I think they will each 30$ soon this year! Mark this date today March.21,2021. In 3months that would be Aug.21,2021 may reach 20$
I use both of them. But the fees on uniswap are insane. Pancake swap has different features that I like. Also it’s crypto so you have to use both at some point.
The major difference is centralization and decentralization. One benefits defi, the other benefits BNB. An inconvenient fact for influences in the space wanting to make yield and garner attention.
Pancakeswap will win and this is why: 1) nobody wants to pay x100 more dollars and wait x100 more minutes 2) 40% of Uni is for institutionnals or team while only 0.03% is for tresury on Pancakeswap 3) Uni grant is useless as long as you have to pay hundreds euros and wait hours for a single transaction. 4) Apy are higher on Pancakeswap 5) Marketcap of Pancakeswap is smaller which give place for cake token price to multiply more than Uni token 6) Pancakeswap don't waste time with marketing or "grant", they already have implemented, exchange, pools, liquidity providing, compounding, lottery, nft's, gamefication and will implement a lot more on Q2 2021. 7) The application of Pancakeswap is addictive while you just can't do anything with Uniswap except swap. 8) The community of Pancakeswap (you can propose and vote for project totally free, join a team, less whales than Uni,...) Pancakeswap is the best DEFI project with a lot of things to do and is totally undervalued while Uni is overvalued. If you want to multiply your money while having fun you better buy Cakes instead of Uni.

Pancake swap is terrible. They keep getting hacked and they don't shut down their website They just tell people not to use it on Twitter. I lost 20 grand immediately after connecting my wallet to their official website and it seems like I'm not the only one.
@@AF-sh1qk No they initiated a contract through pancake swap while I was making an exchange and gave themselves unlimited access to my account just using my password. But since it was a pop-up it didn't have a different URL and it came directly from the pancake swap website. Since it was my first time using pancakes swap I couldn't distinguish the difference if there was any between the fake popup and the real one.

You make this comparison too complicated. All people need to know is, can I swap my tokens, cheap, secure and easy to use. 3 advantage each over the other. Uniswap: 1, More token available 2, well known 3, New version coming out. Pancakeswap 1, more features, better staking reward 2, much Cheaper fees 3, growing. Conclusion. Uniswap need to get out the new version fast and sort out the fees to be more competitive. pancakeswap need more coins to be added fast and make it easier for people to adorption with Metamask. Uniswap fees is so high, people will be looking for alternative. Can Unswap sort out their issues before Pancakeswap gain mass adorption?

I would like to see a tutorial of how to use BSC and specifically how to bridge tokens from binance directly and from the ETH blockchain. None of the tutorials I've found actually show an example transaction!

People won’t keep paying uniswaps outrageous gas fees when they discover they can spend 40% less on that portion of the transaction through Anjiswaps new Beta multichain swap. As for pancake? The transaction fees are minimal. But still 20% less on anjiswap 😘

Uniswap is centralized too. 40% Uni for the team/institutional, the rest for the whales. You can't propose anything while you can propose upgrades or modifications on pancakeswap.

I would totally use BSC if i could bring myself to trust Binance. The US has a checkered past with Binance, and the centralized nature of BNB and BSC puts them at risk of being declared unauthorized securities by the SEC.

I think you missed the most important thing about PancakeSwap: how quickly billions of dollars in value shifted from ETH to another blockchain once people saw how low the gas fees were in comparison. When Cardano, Polkadot, and Tezos have fully developed DeFi environments that people can use without being forced to spend $50-$150 per transaction, those shifts will happen again and could be much bigger. Ethereum might only have about 3-4 months to fix its gas fee issue before the competition really starts to eat away at it, and I'm not sure EIP-1559 will go far enough.
Hey Guy, appreciate the detail analysis between these AMMs. ETH fees are hurting ETH based DeFi platforms and one large reason that I'm using mainly the BSC network for trying different DeFi platforms. The cost to experiment and to split the risk is MUCH less on BSC at the moment.

Pancake swap give you 140% APY staking and ricoulus gas fees ... CAKE will win
Apy is useless if there's crazy inflation of a token and it's collapsing in price
Gas fees are unrealistic for average users
