Anna, this is so so lovely! I thought I was seeing things or misreading the title, this songs means so much to me and takes me way back to my childhood. Certain friends of the family would come over now and then for dinner, and every bleeping time they'd ask me to sing Edelweiss, and it got me in trouble with one of my siblings who did NOT like yielding the center of attention for any reason. But I'd sing it, and have always loved this song even if I'd catch heck later. I stopped caring about the consequences and just enjoyed the song, and you put a beautiful nuanced spin on it, which I love. Thank you Anna, and God bless you forever.
