I was never able to play GTA when I was younger, so this was always the next best thing.

I loved this game when it came out and I got it again about 2 weeks ago and I like it even more this go round.
So do I, but fucking hell I keep getting unlucky. My saves keep getting corrupted because the game makes it's own place to store them.
I just bought it yesterday and I’m about to start it again for the first time in ages. I’m so glad this game still holds up.

The game is a childhood favorite of mine. And I know they say not to go back and replay nostalgic games, because it would ruin the memories of how good the game was. But mercenaries 2 holds up so well.

One of my favourite games ever and would love a remake
as cool as a remake would be i know myself and so many other put so much time the game it would feel kinda stale playing through the story for the 1000th time. a 3rd installment though would be great but idk if it could live up to expectations since i doubt any original developers would be working on it. a remake is most likely over a 3rd game though after seeing destroy all humans get a remake.
I love how just cause is still running and theyre still years behind the first mercanaries
One of the last games I’ve ever owned that still used cheat codes. In my opinion more games need to come with cheats, of course only in like a campaign mode or offline but it’s inherently more fun it seems to just have unlimited money and any weapon imaginable at your disposal. Have them only activate after you’ve completed the campaign on your own
Unfortunately people would find a way to hack the cheats to use them online. The obvious way to do it would be like Crysis Warhead which had two separate games on two separate disks, one for offline and the other for online.
I love the mix of Mercs 2 gameplay with POD's soundtrack 👌

I regularly unplug my ps4 in favor of hooking up the ps3 again just so I could play this game
Sure it has problems but it's so fun. I'll go as far as saying this game is probably superior compared to Just Cause 4 in terms of gameplay (a similar game that was released in 2018)

I got this the day for my birthday of 2008. December of 2008 it was my first official PS3 game for as my brother got the PS3 MGS4 Bundle. Loved this game i was addicted to it so much. I loved how if you would go far away the vehicles wouldn't disappear. Used to create little FOBs with other online friends and roleplay as US soldiers it was a great game. My favorite vehicle was the Liberator aka the CH-53 as its real life counterpart. Much of a great game like its father Mercs Playground of Destruction for the PS2/XBOX

Ah yes. I loved this game back when, and somehow the only thing I remember about is destructable buildings, universal petroleum and Jamaican pirates

@@logoutnexttime4883 i hate a HATE on EA!! all they do now is boring Battlefield.. Bf4 have praticly no servers, Battlefield Hardline is dead, Bf1 and Bf5 are both praticly dead... Bad Company 2 have PLENTY of players and Bf3 have a lots of player too, but BC2 was better. hope a BC3 will come soon but EA prefer doing a shit Battlefield with Horses lol...

That mission with the helicopters and the exec, When the radio guy says "Hey merc, come to the roof, I've got a present for you" He means for you to climb that massive oil rig thing behind the shack the exec's in. He'll fly in and drop off a Stinger missile for you to shoot down the helicopters with.
God this was a fun ass game lol. Used to play multi-player when I was in the military with a buddy back home. We would laugh our asses off playing that game together. Good times🤘
I always moved forth with the grapple hook before even touching that executive mission for UP.
Such a rated game, I wish less people knew about it so it became a hidden gem.
