This was the coolest song on AM radio when it was released. It gave all of us Beatle-maniacs hope that there was going to be great post-Beatles music by the fabs. Excellent job as usual!
Just watched your video on why you started the James James channel. You are so right. I'm 67 and been playing 3 chord rock and roll since I was 14 and I've learned more since I found your channel than all the rest of the youtube lesson players. Less talk more playing. I know you've had your scare with colon cancer and I'm glad you caught it in time. Don't forget about your prostate though, I lucked out and found it early.
Thank you so much for leaving a wonderful body of work. When you stopped your channel. It was like I lost a dear friend. Blessings to you for all of your days. You are a remarkable talent and will be missed by thousands 🙏
So glad you picked this song! It takes me right back to high school driving to go to a tea dance at the Naval Academy. Music has a way of doing that to you.
Really nice rendition, James.. and good guitar playing. I had always liked this song, as a kid... but never knew who had performed it -- and so many of the later [Paul McCartney &] Wings tunes... Silly Lover Songs, Listen To What The Man Said, Band On The Run, Jet, etc... truly, some great classics.
Wow! This one’s even better than the one you did 10 years ago! You figured out some cool licks since then. Great tune, thank you for playing this. Playing along with you and Sir Paul is great fun!
So; I have a question as a beginner that wasn't covered in your question video. How do you know when to strum down or up. I always think to myself, "How does he know that is an upstroke?"
I just got a hummingbird. The high E buzzes and slightly mutes at the 10-11 fret. Suggestions how to fix without having to pay to get it setup? The rest of the strings are perfect height.
Could be the bridge needs a shim could be fret dressing , or fret issue could just need a slight truss rod adjustment...take it in lol thats what id do if the truss rod doesnt help
Paul been playing 60++ yrs on stage . Thats my whole life was born into this realm in 1960..why does it seem like the last 25 yrs was only 10 yrs ago....my daughter on her 17th yr in air force...Time what a strange concept.I t takes forever to,get thru rush hour traffic. Yet 60s yrs went way to fast.. .
Sehr gut nachgespielt!Das ist bestimmt eine Martin D41 auf der du spielst!Ich spiele auch eine Martin d41!!Ist meine Traumgitarre!Frage:Was für Saiten verwendest du??
A masterpiece at the time and unfairly and criminally underrated.
His best post-Beatles album.
@@jamesjames9275 I think so
Not only then [at that time]... but still is -- after fifty years.
A one man Bohemian Rhapsody
Agreed.
Nice. I’ll never get sick of that song if I live to be a thousand years old. Or Band On the Run.
Band on the run it's so good, always listen to that song for feeling happy
One of my first memories in life is singing along with this song in the backseat of the car as a small child in the early 70's.
The little electric guitar fills at the very end always knocked me out; so tasty.
This song is so cool and underrated. Love this album!
Ram is still my favorite solo release of his, especially the remastered version. Love all the walk downs and walk ups in this.
Paul is absolutely brilliant!! probably my favorite song writer! so talented.
You continue to be an example of what's right with the world. I can't thank you enough.

It's actually from frets 10-13
Have you tried putting a shim under the bridge at the end where the high E is?
@@jamesjames9275 no. What can I use?
Could be the bridge needs a shim could be fret dressing , or fret issue could just need a slight truss rod adjustment...take it in lol thats what id do if the truss rod doesnt help
Great song, great chords with bass notes added! Video quality is getting a little fuzzy though. Thanks!!!

That’s hella good howd you figure that out? Paul’s music is blocked on Tabs- not sure why Yoko and Olivia haven’t blocked John and George’s

Hey, James, are you going to buy the new Jimmy Page Dragon Tele??
For that kind of money, I want the real thing, not a replica. :)
