Well I was heading out to do some maintenance on the car from the weekend, but when I heard this lesson I headed back to my guitar case and grabbed out the Taylor. I seen how much fun you and Emily were having with this song. I thought man I better go and join in LOL next thing I know I'm playing the guitar for 2 hours. thanks! 7:13 the first time I heard that chord progression in the song, and the way the guitar is recorded too, it just sounds so POWERFUL... slowly learning about the beatles history and how Paul was the driving force on guitar in many of their most aclaimed songs... only other piece of guitar recording that I can think of that is capable of invoking such powerful sound I think would be Syd Barrett's recording of Astronomy Domine... unparalleled to this day in my opinion
8:45 that section of the song that seems to sound like Kazoos on purpose, sound similar to what Pink Floyd has done in the song "Corporal Clegg" (the 2nd album on which Syd Barrett was still present in the studio) And the theme of the song too, Admiral/Corporal... maybe it's just a coincidence, we're lucky to have both really
