This is truly amazing. I know that RBG lights are terrible when emitting "white" light.
I would love to see how bad it actually is...
Keep the good work and content up!

What an excellent video. Thank you so much for all this info. Didn’t know the sekonic was so full featured.

I would have been very interested to see you retest the Nanlight with a 1/8 minus G gel.

Dude this is the best educational breakdown of light quality and color science! I knew SSI was important, but didn’t understand why.

Hi, as a DP and nanlite fs300 owner i can confirm that the color of the fixture is clearly wrong visible to the naked eye.
My question is : can we compensate in post those color shifts?

Thank you for the informative video.
Sekonic C-800: How to add new memory data to an existing Memory Title other than the last one in use?
All new memory data seems to end on the last Memory Title in use regardless of the selection on the Memory Title folder.
Selecting and/or Recalling a Memory Title doesn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is for me. They say I’m a big dummy. I’m color blind also.. I though that circle thing was for darts.

Thank you for this video. I've been using an Illuminati light meter. It doesn't have SSI. That would be quite useful. This makes me want to check and correct my Aputure lghts.

Another downside to LEDs that i didn’t mention was they shift overtime as well. The more hours that they run, the chip will change in color.

@@JustinPhillip I usually wait for Gaffer & gear to review a light now. As you probably know he goes over the color rendition quite well.
Also, I think I'm going to contact Illuminati and see any plan to add SSI and TM30 to their meter.

Sorry. Cameras have different sensors and different colour science. CRI and TLCI matter.
