Yo si soy de los que se enamoro mucho mas de Nightwish, pero gracias a Anette. Tarja como ella no hay dos, Floor es impresionante, pero mi Anette es única en el escenario. Se que no le quedó de otra, pero que valor al aceptar vocalizar una banda precedida por una soprano clásica. Además su estilo pop, que ha muchos era lo que no les gustaba en una banda con una imagen tan pesada, la hicieron mucho mas atractiva para las críticas , tanto buenas como malas. Grande Anette
Gosto do estilo dela no Nightwish, estava revisitando alguns vídeos dela ao vivo e poxa, ela mandava muito bem. Quanto ao estilo dela, fez justamente o que o Thuomas queria na época, se afastou do lírico pra se distanciar do "antigo Nightwish" e trouxe algo mais pop, e deu certo, não por ser pop, mas pela sonoridade excelente. Na época a mudança foi um pouco brusca para os fãs antigos (de cara até eu levei tempo pra entender o que estava acontecendo), mas sem sombra de dúvidas Anette deixou um legado admirável, deveríamos ser gratos pela contribuição que ela deixou para o Night e para os fãs.

Muchas canciones de la era Tarja suenan bien en su voz, y más porque el estilo de los 3 primeros discos suenan más a Power metal donde es natural voces altas, por lo que no me extraña que esta canción suena muy bien con Anette.
Yo también lo lamento, como es posible que con tantas ventas y shows nunca vimos un DVD con la producción de The End Of A Era, o como los que ha tenido Floor. Pero bueno, espero un día verla cantar en vivo.
That’s the beauty of her voice she is talented enough to sing her songs but her voice is so different it adds it’s own beautiful tone to it without sounding like she is trying to copy Tarj etc

As far as I'm concerned Anette was their golden ticket, all I heard just now was a beautiful, powerful voice, the 2 album's they put out with her behind the mic were their absolute best.
While I rarely like Anette's performances (and this one is no exception), I gotta say something. Everyone keeps talking about her narrow vocal range, but no one ever acknowledges that at least she doesn't use vibrato when it's not necessary and her pronunciation is great. Same version of floor? Uhm... Maybe un the singing style not in execution. For has more power in her voice and more control over her voice. No, she didn't sing bad. But I somehow always found her a bit boring,... propably too mush in pop style for my taste. But no, not bad at all. Still, for me in terms of quality as singer and preference she's my least favourite nightwish singer. I couldn't get into Storytime, until I heard Floor singing those songs. Classico esempo di come si può essere un buon cantante da studio (con tutti i ritocchi possibili) ma quando devi cantare live, allora è meglio che lasci stare.
È tremendamente imprecisa. Può cambiare le linee melodiche per gusto o necessità (spesso la seconda), ma è sempre tremendamente imprecisa. E questa cosa nei Nightwish non te la puoi permettere.
I will say this, while I do not like Annette's voice for these songs as well as as Floor, it may be that my introduction to Nightwish was by hearing Floor. I have seen all of the trolling about which one is better of the three... I have a strange feeling, that after Tarja left, whoever the next person was, would never be accepted by the public in general. I also feel that whoever replaced that 2nd singer would be considered "the best thing ever." Having said that. I really enjoy Tarja's voice. I like Annette's voice. Floor, however.... well, I could sit and listen to her singing for hours, Nightwish, After Forever, Revamp, her collabs, Northward... She just has an undeniably power, yet sweet, yet aggressive, yet well you get it voice... with a 4 octave range... yep... she smokes the rest of them for breakfast....

Get your ears checked lmao this is the same key as the one floor sings it in, also the songs are tuned down because during century child they switched from E standard guitar tuning to D standard, and after the Once tour they stopped carrying a guitar set to E standard for the old material so they play anything before century child a whole step lower, it has nothing to do with anyone's vocal abilities

Canta bonito tiene linda voz pero siento que su estilo encaja mejor con la musica pop y NO con el metal, aquí escucho q canta como q con mucha hueva.
Hay una gran diferencia entre cantar pop, rock, hard rock y heavy metal. La Sra Olzon nunca ha cantado pop propiamente dicho. Toda su música ha estado entre el AOR, Hard Rock, Symphonic Metal,
Alternative Rock y Melódic Metal, al menos profesionalmente. No debería repetir lo que otros hablan por ignorancia. Una cosa es tener voz melódica y otra es que por ello solo pueda cantar pop.

Como la tienen con que su voz no era de nightwish tuomas hizo dark passion play e imaginaerum especialmente para anette pero es más que obvio antes de cantar esas canciones hay que repasar las clásicas.
