  • This walk takes in the majority of the tops on the Beinn Eighe ridge in Glen Torridon. A super days walking in clear, settled conditions. Certainly one of Scotlands classic mountain range.

Brilliant Charlie! I love the unhurried pace of your films, and that you don’t have music, which ruins lots of others. Just the sound of stones underfoot, wind, water and heavy breathing, and your great commentary. And I love the slow pans. Did Ruadh Stac Mor in April 96’, a long day. We stayed at ‘Rivendell’ B&B in Shieldaig, a great place, don’t think it’s there now. We were knackered and hungry, and after the main course at dinner, the owner said a guest had just brought in some freshly caught trout from a hill loch, would we like one. It was the best meal I ever ate! Cheers, Dunc.

Hi Dunc, Great that you enjoy watching our Torridon trip.... it's just a magic area and easily my favourite Scottish Glen. We've stayed in the area across various seasons, just like yourself, and have memories that will stay forever. Many thanks for watching and hopefully we'll get the opportunity to get at the distance hills in the near future. Take care, Charlie.

Just making my way through your back catalog, Charlie. Your brother was unusually chatty this day! He's usually so quiet (on camera, at least).

Super video. That’s a massive mountain complex. Initially I wondered why you set off to the middle of the range but after watching the video I could see why. A great day out. I share the view of others in that I appreciate you don’t add music. The sound of you both walking is all it needs.

Hi Charles, Glad you enjoy looking through our movies which are simply intended to capture our day while hopefully giving others a resource for reference for their own adventure. Many thanks for watching. Cheers Charlie.

Like most of your videos five stars for this one and the Liathach one. How on Earth do you manage to conjure up such amazing weather Charlie! I have been to the West coast dozens of times intent on climbing Liathach, An Tealach, The Steall Ridge etc and I reckon that 90% of the trips have been a wash out! I now live in Aberdeenshire but used to drive up from London whereupon a 9 hour drive followed by four or five days in a rain soaked tent represented most of my trips! All my best days on Scotland's mountains have been in the Cairngorms in May! Once again, keep them coming, great views of the Triple Buttress in Coire Mhic Fearhchair, been up there but never seen it if you get my meaning!

Hi Mark, I've found it's always better to let the mountains and landscape tell the story and stay out of shot as much as possible 👍Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie

Superb Charlie, still on my to do list. I'll need to see if Robin fancies repeating these bad boys.

I really enjoyed this video, I got my OS map out and refamiliarised myself with all the names. Paused often to drink in the views and identify surrounding peaks.
The nearly 10km walk back to the car after descending into Coire Mhic Fhearchair is unavoidable! Great views of North side of Liathach though.
    Thanks.

Hello, Glad you enjoyed our outing on this Torridon classic. It's a good way to work through the video with maps at the ready and maximises the views. The track back to the car is excellent and you're able to make good time but a visit to the Coire is a must and one classic features of the mountain. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
