I bought n 8 camera fusion system from Lorex a year ago and I am getting up in years so I just called a reliable company to come out and they hooked it all up including the 2K doorbell and a 40 inch 4K monitor for a good price . My home is a single story and a little over 3000 sq.feet . on about 3 acres and I love the fact there are no fees to mess with . These cameras will pick up motion a quarter mile away if you don't dial them down ! LOL It is good piece of mind because as long as I have my phone on me I know instantly what and where something moves . I have a security system but I only use it when I am gone .
Have you thought about adding the motion or door sensors to your setup? That's my biggest draw to Lorex over some other options and would like to hear how others have found it.
If you press the doorbell button, can you program it to record on other camera for a given period of time after the button is pressed?
Hello im in the process of fitting my mums lorex NVR system. I was wondering if there is any benefits of having a lorex door bell along with this system? She currently has a Eufy doorbell connected to Alexa echo, however there is a 4sec delay. Ideally it would be great if the lorex door bell can connect to the NVR so image pops up on the NVR monitor due to her mobility it would be easier for her ti view.

I have mine set to send a notification on my phone but I use the porch camera (not the doorbell camera) to notify me. It works great that way. I ended up to turning off the notifications from the doorbell cam because it activates even when someone is just walking by on the sidewalk and too many notifications means I just won't look at them anymore. I don't THINK that the doorbell camera can be set to show up on the monitor for the other cameras but I'm not 100% sure.

Hi, what happens when a person comes to the door? Does it record automatically and send you the video clip?
It records automatically and sends a notification that someone is at the front door. You can turn the notification off if it over-triggers from people walking by on the sidewalk near the road.
Does the doorbell camera connect to the DVR system like the other cameras?

How do you like the doorbell camera? I’m on the fence about it. I’ve read so bad reviews about it, I’m not sure if it’s user error. Or the doorbell isn’t that great. What do you think? Any issues with the camera staying online?
I like it quite a bit and haven't had any problems at all with it so far. The app works well and is responsive and quick. It's also very configurable for motion and notifications. I honestly don't have any complaints about it.
I've had the Lorex doorbell camera for some time now and I'd still buy it over any other doorbell camera. I tried several doorbell cameras and this is my all-around favorite. Almost all of the bad reviews are from people who don't know what they are doing. The two most common installation issues are not having the correct doorbell transformer and not being able to connect to you wifi. You transformer must be 16-24VAC and at least 40Va. Those numbers should be indicated somewhere on the transformer. If you have a problem setting up the camera look for solutions on TH-cam or Google because it's most likely a user error and not the fault of the camera.
Can you help? I am trying to put together a package with Lorex. I think I will get the N845 Lorex Fusion 4k 16 channel so that I can use wired or wireless. I want to get the doorbell, and 2 or 3 cameras to start with. I plan on putting one above my garage door, and one in the backyard. I have 3 acres and am in the process of building a house. I want to be able to see if someone is on the property...and at night. I am looking at the Lorex 4K Smart Security Lighting Deterrence Bullet AI PoE IP Wired. However, I don't know if the lighting is enough at night. There floodlight is expensive $249.99 and it says wired. I am not sure of the difference between wired and Poe IP wired. They have spotlights but they are wifi. Thank you
I really don't have any experience with any Lorex cameras other than the system I bought through Amazon. From what I remember you can get all different package configurations for all different prices depending on where you buy it. If you need help picking out what you need, you might want to reach out to Lorex and see what they would recommend and then decide for yourself whether or not to get it.

What NVR are you using? Are you using Echo Alexa?
It's the 8 channel, 3 TB hard drive NVR. And yes I have several Alexa speakers.
@@renovateyourmind I am looking at the Ring, which I don't like having to depend on them for storage and pay for it, Reolink, and Lorex. What I have heard is that Ring is most compatible with Echo Show Alexia. I want Alexia to show who is at the door automatically when someone is there. Will the Lorex doorbell do this?

@@davidoliver9395 Yes you can. I just looked into it after reading your comment. I linked the Lorex Home skill through the Alexa app and can now view any camera or the doorbell on the Echo Show on demand. I also set up an automation through the Alexa app so any time the doorbell is pressed it will display the doorbell camera automatically.

I’ve had a couple Eufy’s (2 different models) for 2 years, and they’re garbage.
They just don’t obey their settings, the ai facial recognition does the opposite of its claim of not triggering for frequent triggers from known faces. But it will only trigger on me but not strangers.
The doorbell chime volume can not be adjusted, the doorbell simply rings out of nowhere in the middle of the night, the communication feature is too quiet to work and cannot be adjusted. And no matter how small I set the surveillance zone for, it just doesn’t care, you can walk right through it, and it will not trigger.
And they can’t be made to constantly record.
They’re literally garbage
