Fanatec makes such good quality Wheels but what took so long for the new consoles

Hey, are you ever going to do the finished review? Considering Fanatec is selling out this model at low prices, many of us are looking to get one and would value your opinion...

Hi Doug. Did you ever do a follow up video for this, as I'm just considering buying the hub and oval rim. Thanks

Thank you for this initial review. I'm at the moment trying to find out if I should get the hub with the GT style wheel or just the BMW wheel. You mentioned in the video about comparing the hub with other wheels. Have you already had a chance to do that?

You should never have to think of the gear, just listen to the engine.

Exactly, smart ass. Especially in the first rounds when the engines are screaming all around you ...

im confused is there 2 versions of this or will they both work on Xbox one

I know it's a year later but just in case I'm gonna tell you anyway. I think when they first released the clubsport they didn't have Xbox licensing, so the earlier version didn't have it. But now they do, and I don't think you can buy it without the xbox licensing anymore

Hello sir like your video. I’m having a problem with my unit though and was wondering if you could help. On the back of the unit the spring loaded circle that attaches to the wheel base is starting to come off at the base right below the spring where the circular metal and the actual main unit meet. Do you have any tips on how to fix or could you make a video showing how to fix if possible thanks

Thanks Doug for your info on this "HUB" I'm considering one of them. But, I don't think I'll use any buttons on it (Maybe only 1 Pod) for PTT button. I've got 2 button boxes on my rig. I'm also wondering about plugging and unplugging the button pods in & out alot and how well they (or the broad) will hold up under alot of use? I don't think the broad will hold up to well, myself. Great video Doug and Thanks again. And God Bless.

I agree brother. I think the wheel button would not hold up well to many plug-ins and unplugs. I think the wheel is best setup as another wheel to use rather than one to be switching rims around on.

So is there any clear info on what to get for the xbox one? Are we still waiting for info from fanatec? What I read in the forums are confusing.

From what I know, we are still waiting on XBox specific wheels to be introduced.

I have no desire to play games on PC. Tried iRacing, wasn't for me.

samdavis1228 If you like an awesome driving experience you should try Assetto Corsa.
iRacing is just stupid because you keep paying for something you'll never ever own.

Can I ask a couple of Q's here to see if SRR or anybody else can help me out please.... When removing buttons from the circuit board, what is the best way to go about it? It does not really say anything in the guide about removing them and they seem like they are positioned really soild, iam a little worried about damaging them as this is pretty pricey kit for me. I don't want any buttons on for when I buy a classic wooden rim. Also... Are the any ways of attaching rims that don't have the standard 6 screw holes where one is positioned at the top and the bottom like the rims in this video and all the ones Fanatec sell... Ive seen a few on ebay that iam tempted to buy (mainly classic ones) but the 6 screws are positioned 3 to each side. Is the any way around that? Please don't give no smart ass comments if any of this I obvious stuff :) - Real help much appreciated.
