My grandpa helped too build the road up MT Scott, and you mentioned Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys,my piano player,Sister Boogie, started out playing for Bob Wills, and for 48 years, she has played for me ,Miss Audrey
I found this just randomly today on my TH-cam home page where it has the suggested videos. Well picked, because I couldn't resist following the link!! lol. I grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. We used to go out to Mt Scott and the Wildlife Refuge when I was a kid. So much nostalgia for early in the morning!!! Thanks so much for posting this video. It really made me smile. 😸
Ooooh how I Miss Medicine Park.I can almost still "feel" that feeling of the ground/air whenever I was there! 🌅 Thankyou for transporting me there again!🥴
Medicine park has a lot of history behind it and we only know the half of it. It goes further back to the native Americans the took the sick with fever to the swim are to alleviate such high fevers before there's Tylenol or aspirin and it worked for them.
@@RogueDog89 OK, thanks. That reminds me of a video a songwriter posted a few years ago who composes and records background music. His original material is really good.
I like your videos, but you really should see a doctor about your farting problem. Methane build up in your guts could cause you to blow up in front of your camera!

I love Medicine Park . I remember going out there to swim , before they started charging . The food at the Old Plantation is the best !
It’s pretty damn good.
The hall behind you used to be a skating rink back in the day too
My daddy was the manager of that skating rink, that's how he met my momma,Miss Audrey❤
I was there last thanksgiving. We are from Ohio and we loved it.
Cool. I may retire there someday.
Outstanding: from Bad Bob of New Mexico
Cheers Bad Bob!!!
Mount Scott is the second highest mountain in OK. The highest is Black Mesa, in the panhandle.
Thanks for clarifying.
Hey Dog, what's that cool instrumental piece called? Who plays it?
I took it off of epidemic sound. Background music pay site.

Mt. Scott isn't the tallest mountain in Oklahoma.
Yeah well, it oughta be - Mt. Scott definitely has the best views!
