I have seen a lot of "reviews" of Traffic Global but this vid is the one which shows all the important details I was looking for. Thanks for the great video. Looks like I'll be putting Traffic Global on my wishlist. Also, I heard it has had some recent updates past couple of weeks that improve the taxiing and other weird behaviors.
This is the second good review of Traffic Global that I have seen this week. I guess I am going to have to check this out. It does look like a good add on that doesn’t kill the frame rates. Thanks for the great review!
Gripper Sim: Thanks for this review. I am in agreement with you that Traffic Global is much better when it comes to install and use/config. I looked at others but refrained when I saw how complex they seemed to set up. I'm pretty simple-minded so I usually avoid the add-ins that require much in the way of config. I used Traffic Global back in the days of using P3D so I was anxious for JF to finally release this XP version (but glad they waited until it was ready). I do miss seeing GA traffic at small non-airline airports but, perhaps, that will appear in a later update. I had to smile about your comment on the fast turning of airliners onto runways and taxiways. I was reminded of those old war movies where they used airplane models that made quick turns during combat with no banking whatsoever. 😁
Thanks for your comments Dennis! You make a good point there, I've never seen traffic at a small airfield doing circuits. Most people have small light aircraft when they start simming, I think it would go down very well indeed. I'll look into this! : )
This looks awesome, but is it only airliner traffic? I'm assuming it is, which is understandable. I just wish I could populate all the small airports with GA traffic.
I did see an option called "Synthetic GA" so it might be there, just not at the same airport. Maybe they only appear at smaller airports. It could also be that they just haven't added it yet.
Hiya Gripper, do you need to use ATC for them to react to you ? I also know the other traffic mod thats an awful pain to install. Thankyou for this as ive been looking at this for a while but never dropped the cash on it, i might just do it now. On another note i decided to try DCS world i'm enjoying it quiet a lot already got the huey and a nice little A10-C to play with.
I agree with you point on ALL adding should be this easy to install. I would buy it IF they would 1) integrate GA flights and 2) provide a means for real-time traffic.
Recently purchased and I must say it is so worth it. I have never bothered with AI before due to complicated set up/installations and performance but this takes it all away.. easy to install, just plug in and play.. and just overwhelmed how good this looks in the sim and no more lonely skies... even with max AI at the busiest of locations, I had no drops in fps... if you're on the fence about getting this, I could not recommend this enough.... thanks for the great video and review
I heard it does not currently have any cargo/freighter traffic. For those who have access to forums and what not, have they announced this feature is definitely coming?
Gripper Sim...I have had Traffic Global since it’s release date and it does work great. After the last update my log.ini file has a ‘TGXP error on every line that my scenery.ini file attempts to load. I have emailed Just Flight but was wondering if you have the same issue. It is affecting my load time to the point I have uninstalled it for now. Thank you as always for your dedication to the flight sim community.
Hi Brandon! Thats odd, It installed fine for me.. Maybe after the uninstall - it left some old files behind. Have a look in the plugins folder, remove anything to do with Traffic Global and reinstall. Thats my guess, but it's best to talk to the ones in the know, just flight support. I hope that helps! I'm wondering how about GA traffic in this product? Everywhere is only about big planes which I'm not interested so much as I fly on small GA airfields with small GA planes. I would love to fly in pattern with some other A/C. Great review as always. Thanks and happy Friday (and rest of weekend) :)
A great video. I've been using TG for a while now. It was very good out of the box and, as you said in the video, has improved with updates they've released. I understand that the way aircraft taxi is being addressed in the next update. One comment about the 'white aircraft' - although it could be argued that more liveries from some of the major carriers could/should have been included, the aircraft with no liveries should really be regarded as extra to the package. Based on customer feedback from their previous traffic packages for other platforms, JF included the option of having as much traffic showing as possible, even if that meant some aircraft would be without a livery. (Apparently, not having them showing is the equivalent of their other traffic add ons.) I think they made a mistake by having that option enabled by default - giving the impression that it was an integral part of the program - rather than allowing users to enable it should they desire fuller airports and skies. I have the traffic at 80% without the substitute aircraft, and airports I use (East Midlands, Southampton, Cardiff etc) are well enough populated for me.
Yes, they are going to fix this I believe. And you make a good point. But still I think it's the best of all of them so far. Thanks for the heads up Rich! : )

@@GripperSim I see, thank you. I am trying SayIntensions which is still under development but so far they are doing a pretty impressive job. Check the new updates, they are introducing traffic injection controlled by ATC with full lateral and vertical separation.
Thanks for the video. I am looking at going over to TG from my current traffic program which is WT. I am assuming from your video that the program you previously had is also WT. My question is did you delete and remove WT before installing TG or did you just install over the top and leave it sitting in the background. Any help would be appreciated
For me it is the ultimate plugin, adding real flights and real liveries without a problem. The white liveries are being taken care of by a lot of enthousiastic users. Just flight already released three update and promised to add GA in 2020. I highly recommened it

Def adds effects to xplane 11- your review has encouraged me to buy this add on. A simple install is what I want - no arsing around finding the right folder. Question. Does it work for dawn and nightime with illumination for aircraft and buildings?
I've been having problems at Aersoft EDDF. The traffic gets stuck and doesnt move. The only way to get out is just taxi right through the other planes. Thats abit annoying, but whatever. It's so much better than WT3! I'm very much enjoying it. I think the way aircraft turn has alot todo with how the taxiroutes are made. Not alot JustFlight can do. But I think they worked on it with the last release. It's the best traffic addon for XP, it has it's problems, but it's alot better than any other traffic addon we have at the moment.

I´m currentlly using World Traffic V3. It´s ok, but annoys me the fact that you have to set up every flight to the traffic show on. This one is like the old microsoft FS ones? Just install and the traffic is there? Could you please set at some airports from Brazil and see if it´s looking correctly? It´s steep on price, but maybe some discounts may appear here and there.
Nice review! I like Traffic Global but I do have one question for anyone who might know the answer. Louisville, KY (KSDF) has over 250 UPS flights per day, yet none of them show up on the Traffic Global schedule and there are no parked UPS aircraft ever at KSDF, even though I've seen liveries for them included with the software. I thought Traffic Global had increased cargo flights with the latest software update, so I'm wondering why there are never any UPS flights at KSDF, even though they are the largest operator there.
From what I understand, they were more focused on the walk on freight, as apposed to the package type. They have hinted that they want to iron the bugs out of the release before both freight and private traffic..from what I can recall.
I've got the same. Flying cargo is what I like very much. I've heard the cargo and GA traffic could be added later. Empty Leipzig, Louisville don't look good. But overall, I'm very satisfied with Traffic Global.
Hi Ken. The commercial flight database that is used to construct the Traffic Global schedules only contains flights for passenger airlines. Some freight routes are included though, but only for those airlines which also run passenger flights. This means that the big freight-only airlines like UPS, FedEx and DHL aren't represented at all. This is something that we would very much like to fix in a future update so bear with us there. Traffic Global does include more freight routes in the last update because unpainted aircraft types were added for nearly all the freight routes. Unfortunately this doesn't help the situation for those airports like for example Memphis which is a huge FedEx hub . Again, bear with us, we hope to rectify the situation in a future update.
Good review, a few issues l have spotted. 1. The front nose wheel is not animated 2. The front nose wheel is off the ground on most aircraft. 3. When the aircraft takes off, it climbs like a helicopter.

the biggest problem with flightsim is chasing the lastest, up to date information. it's not like an F1 or racing game where you can precisely identify a season, a specific race. airlines, general aviation, military aviation ... everything is moving every day, thousands of routes, informations ... it's too big to have live, up to date informations, livery etc historical information should be the norm, after all it's not like things changed a lot in the last 20 years. i'd be more interested in having more interaction with ATC or other aircraft.
Frame rates (if that's what you're asking about there) are excellent in all instances. Even at somewhere like Heathrow with traffic density high there's only minimal drop in frames. Hope that helps.
Hate this addon. I voiced my opinions on what NEEDS CHANGING and people didnt like that. Biggest grip is the airplanes cant pull their wheels up in time. But there are many other problems.
Clumsy what I can tell you is that this product is not a finished product and don't deserve to be out in the market yet. Too many issues and for the price you pay better look in another direction.
There is nothing that will get close to the FSX Global Traffic for FREE !!! I would not pay $$$ for that garbage the model look like!@#$@#$ and the behaviour is as bad as WT3
Or Prepar3D global traffic as it’s the same as FSX. Not sure about FS2020 traffic through as I don’t use FS2020 often, but I hear there’s a lot of bug about it.

Is there a way you can change active runways? The planes keep using random runways for me disregarding winds

Thanks for bringing this plugin to our attention. I wonder if they record remote places too, like Africa an Papua.
As far I understand it, the major ones are...the smaller /remote airfield are not.
Ye, they always leave out small remote airfields. I'll start my search! : )

I want AI traffic but o think its expensive and It can drop dowm fps and no compatible with vulkan.

You can’t fly these aircraft. They are AI only.
You never mentioned small airports...cessnas beechcrafts etc.
