Why would anyone thank your imaginary friend because he found a body in the river? Also why would your sky daddy wizard bless this guy because you said so but do nothing to bless any of the 1,000 children who die every single day from starvation? Use your brain. Your God is weak. Your God admits there are other Gods in his 1st commandment. Your God can't stop wars in his name. Your God can't stop rape. Your God can't can't stop thousands of abortions daily nor thousands of children dying daily of starvation. Your God cant stop cancer. Your God can't stop murder. Your God can't do anything. Or maybe he won't. Or maybe he doesn't know. Regardless of why your God can't, won't or doesn't know, he has done nothing about these things. And since he is so weak, why do you worship him as a God? Grow up and educate yourself on how and why gods and religions were created. After all, your Christian God was about the 8,000th God humans fictitiously created. Your God is not real, and you are weak and naive for believing in a Middle Eastern Myth. 🤡
How horrid for you and your buddy. I'm surprised you continued to fish that day. That would have turned me off wanting to fish for the rest of the day! Bless you.

Wow you can really see the hand clearly & the effect of rigor mortis 😢 hopefully the body was able to be identified for the family to get some closure!😔
The body was identified as a female very small stature from what I gathered in my follow-up videos she suffered from mental illness and when she would disappear for week or two at a time so when she didn't come home or family wasn't really worried
thank God you found her, I was worried it was a child .Prayers for this young woman you gentlemen and a wonderful job and I think your videos your GoPro looks great
What you're seeing is actually the effect of bloating, Rigor happens shortly after death and only lasts a few hours. I'd imagine she had to be in there for at least a week to be so decomposed. As a funeral Director we see these different stages all the time. What a horrific thing for a person to have to witness 🥺

I thought the same thing that she would go down to the dam and get chewed up under there. I grew up in Miami and we would see a garbage bag floating in the canal with flies all over it and we would joke to each other open it up! We never did but we knew it was just garbage. If it wasn't for her hand sticking up I would have kept on going. And the weird thing is I saw that oil slick a week before and I thought it was two stroke oil. Thank you for your nice comment friend I really appreciate it

God bless you
@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 if you end up seeings this comment and if it starts bothering you again it's not a bad idea to go therapy because it's a lot easier to navigate the thoughts with a professional then try to go through and wrestle your own thoughts blind. Its not that big of a commitment either since not only do a lot of insurances cover mental health but also there's stuff like telehealth so you can get therapy from home and not move an inch Anyways I hope everything is going well and I hope you have a good day 😊
I found a young man who had made the decision to end it all in some woods. The woods were rather gloomy and he was only a little way off the path, feet almost touching the ground so at first I thought he was just standing there. It was deeply shocking. That was over 40 years ago and I still feel uneasy in woods. I went to his funeral and it was awful to see his elderly parents grieving. I hope you recover ok from this unhappy experience Mark and John. Thankyou for your respect to this poor woman.

@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 thank you. Me too. On a positive note, the last one was here in Florida just about a year ago. After 20mins of straight CPR, he SURVIVED! Seen the man since. Thanked me. Told him it's what we do as humans. Hope he'd do the same for someone else. Once he introduced me to his daughter and granddaughter. Said, "this is the man that saved my life"! Crazy, and thank God he pulled out of it. Has memory loss he said, but at least he's alive. The two before that had too much time pass before I'd stumbled upon them. Sad. We can't save everyone, but we can respect them when they're living and after they've passed. Bless you gentlemen, stay safe, and tight lines, wh?!

I’m sorry if this may seem like a stupid question but do you have to disinfect your boat after being in the water? I’d be worried about all the bodily fluids bacteria 🦠
I mean pretty much every bigger body of water has something dead or decomposing in it. Doesn't make a difference if it's a dead mouse, fish, deer or deceased human, the bacteria is always the same. Since they didn't get directly splattered with bodily fluids, it doesn't make much sense to disinfect the boat.
@@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194oh, my. I am sorry to read this. According to Dr. Jordan Peterson and Dr. Pennebaker, writing about traumatic experiences helps people to process them effectively. You can find the chat they had here on TH-cam. I wish you healing and a radiant life.
I think I'm kinda sensitive about this video bc my great-granddad drowned and he was a John Doe for a few months. He was a brown guy in the late 1900s who was found by a stranger who took it upon himself to take him home and lay him out on the dining table like he was his own kin, hoping someone would look for him. He was too far from our land and no one heard of him being found, esp bc he was reported as a Mexican, but this guy then buried him himself in one of his family's plots. It was a major endeavor and must've traumatized him some way bc drowning is so gnarly. But that guy changed the trajectory of our family even 100 years later. That guy's descendents have no idea the effect its had on us, still, today. And you finding this lady did the same. You gave this family such a blessing.
@@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 I was wondering the same thing. All I could think about was the oils soaking into the scratches on the bottom of the boat. I would have gone straight to the car wash and scrubbed for a couple hours. Was a name ever put with the body?
We're not in that area of the flooding tragedy. And that guy actually lives in the next town over Rabun county. He used to work at the Walmart there you can Google it
Trust me there's way worse in the river than an organic body, literally hundreds of gallons of sewage and toxins per minute. There are bodies of water in Florida and all over the US where there's no swimming adviseries from bacteria and sewage
Hate to break it to you but a lot of animals have feasted on our body’s over the centuries Plus circle of life and what not, even if something doesn’t directly eat your body they still get nutrients from it Like how plants take the nutrients from it than, let’s say a deer, eats the plant and now has the nutrients from your body Then we eat the deer and technically that deer has to some degree consumed human Just how nature works just like how technically the water we drink was at some point dinosaurs piss
At least it was you two discovering it. Having company at that situation doesn't suck that badly... Finding body, being alone... You turn super alert. Fear sets in that whoever or whatever killed victim might be nearby and out for you. And the wait... The antagonizing wait...
@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 Yeah... That's kinda messed up start to all of that. Hey. At least you can say you catched big one, right? Heh... Eh, it was more funny when I spoke it aloud.

And for anyone suffering from depression or mental illness just know it's never too late to seek help. You are loved.
Every year there but every week in Thunder Bay, The River of Tears goes right into Lake Superior. It’s sad and scary. Now the city put cameras up along the river because it got bad with body dumping.
The moment that your mind actually accepted the fact that it was actually a real person, you can hear your entire voice and your breathing completely change from shock. 😮
That's so tragic. I think I've read somewhere that when people decide to end their lives they often remove their shoes so that could explain why you found those crocs.. Rip.

I remember when me and my brother walked by a dead body we thought it was homeless person sleeping but come to find out he was dead after having his throat slit 😰😰
Thank you for staying with her until she was found. I'm not a fisher, y'all are so much more likely to find a body out there, but I think every outdoorsman thinks about this in the back of their mind. I was deep in the woods somewhere far from home and found a bag of girls toddler clothes. It was just there, with nothing else, all brown from being out there so long and getting torn open from something, and my brain PANICKED not knowing if it was a little body in there as well. I felt so worried whoever left it there would see me, even though it had been there a long time, and there had been a highly public case of a missing little girl. It was just a bag of clothes, little baby clothes alive in the middle of the woods with no other trash, but I never heard of they were hers. They found parts of the little girl months later in a park, and I often think about the people finding things like that. Guys like you are in my prayers❤
We live in a quaint country town where everybody knows everybody. I never would have expected this but unfortunately that river has had a lot of tragedy. Suicides some drunkenness. And honestly I would have gone right past if the hand wasn't sticking up. Thank you for your thoughts and I really appreciate the comment

I live across the street from the boat ramp this was found at. And was kept up a while by the lights wondering what had happened. Saw a short stealing a snippet of your video. Heard “Lake Emory” “Macon County” “lake side drive” “boat ramp” blew my mind. Even guessed it could be a body.
Awful day for all involved including the victim....Rest in peace.
That’s chilling… the whole scene. Foggy river… dead and rotting body?? That’s pretty creepy
Thank god u found him. I know it's rough I been through the same thing , and it's turned out to be one of my good friends. I found him in the woods, tho not the water it's hard god bless u man
Sorry you had to experience that
Why would anyone thank your imaginary friend because he found a body in the river? 🤡

What you're seeing is actually the effect of bloating, Rigor happens shortly after death and only lasts a few hours. I'd imagine she had to be in there for at least a week to be so decomposed. I'm a kayak fisherman and hunter, and I travel to some interesting locations. This has always been my fear. At the same time, helping to return someone to their family would be an honor. I'm sorry these guys came across this. You never know if that body would have disappeared in the water and never been found if y'all weren't there.
Thank you for your nice comment friend I really appreciate it
So sorry you found someone in the water . I'm sure this was not a pleasant fishing trip for you . God bless whoever it is .

Hey, I’m glad you found the body, please make sure to seek therapy, it’s completely valid and ok for you to do so ❤
It messes me for a couple days and I did watch my own video over and over again for the first couple weeks but I've come to terms with it
@northeastgeorgiakayakfishi1194 if you end up seeings this comment and if it starts bothering you again it's not a bad idea to go therapy because it's a lot easier to navigate the thoughts with a professional then try to go through and wrestle your own thoughts blind.
Its not that big of a commitment either since not only do a lot of insurances cover mental health but also there's stuff like telehealth so you can get therapy from home and not move an inch
Anyways I hope everything is going well and I hope you have a good day 😊

One of my greatest fears I fish down river from a major swimming spot all the time
I never expected it
I found a young man who had made the decision to end it all in some woods.

Sorry this video dug up some bad memories and I'm also sorry for the Mexican comment. Thank you for watching

🤢🤮🤢🤮 I could not eat a fish knowing it may have been nibbling on a dead body 🤮🤢
Most of the freshwater fish you eat have probably eaten a dead body or sewage at some point
Trust me there's way worse in the river than an organic body, literally hundreds of gallons of sewage and toxins per minute. There are bodies of water in Florida and all over the US where there's no swimming adviseries from bacteria and sewage
Hate to break it to you but a lot of animals have feasted on our body’s over the centuries
Plus circle of life and what not, even if something doesn’t directly eat your body they still get nutrients from it
Like how plants take the nutrients from it than, let’s say a deer, eats the plant and now has the nutrients from your body
Then we eat the deer and technically that deer has to some degree consumed human
Just how nature works just like how technically the water we drink was at some point dinosaurs piss
