CNC 5-axis milling refers to a machining process is used to shape and cut a workpiece along five different axes simultaneously. Traditional milling machines operate along three axes (X, Y, and Z), but a 5-axis CNC milling machine can move the cutting tool in two additional rotary axes, usually referred to as A and B.
