Oh yes, I love his snide smirk when he deliver her enemies bad news...and then save the REAL BAD NEWS for last with a big smile.
San Bao too. He is very loyal until Ruyi's death.
This is very sweet but also deep because ruyi still sees Liyu as a person and treats him with kindness cause eunuchs are always seen as lesser or dirty. But Ruyi willing to tend to a servants wounds especially on her position shows how truly kind she is
Ruyi was a except to the rule all the time in that palace treating everyone as equals and always being nice along side her her first confidant and then her 2nd one in the years after that how tou get loyal friend that are ride or die lol she did go by eye for an eye tooth for a tooth if you was on her bad side and she was had it with you and you betrayed her she will do the same back but most times it was here trying to be nice to everyone

It's especially poignant in her words at the beginning of the scenes: "All Are Servants" She herself is a consort, second wife to the emperor and a woman of royalty, yet she is no better than they are as a servant. she's basically telling Wang that she needs to care about servant matters because in the end the only "True Royals" there are Emperor and Empress Dowager. Everyone else is beneath both of them, just in various lines on the tier

It's called 白药粉 in the show, and actually there really is a product called 云南白药粉, which is used for wounds like this. However, it's not for external use
