    Oh man oh man this was a close one first of all good stuff e now looking at the footage when it comes to the photo performance is literally just personal preference the note 9 tends to pull in just enough detail with just a little bit extra saturation to make a really pleasing photo where the S21 Ultra tries to find a almost perfect balance but in the photos they both did a great job so I'm calling it a tie in the video once again they both did a great job what did it for me in the video was the stabilization the S21 Ultra has a little bit better stabilization in my opinion for video but detail audio all of those things or a tie in my opinion. And then the same thing can be said for the front facing video at least based on what I'm seeing they both look really good so I'd have to call it a tie audio on both or is really good. So for me if I had to pick one guess I'd say save your money and pick up that note 9 it's not the latest and greatest no but it's still a phenomenal device and the fact that you don't have any issues whatsoever with it that's like icing on the cake. So once again I'm giving the W on this one to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Keep up the great work e I'll catch you on the next one have a good one.

    Yep, Samsung did such good job with the Note 9 and not just with the camera. A Note 9 FE with everything the Note 9 has now plus an Ultrawide angle lense, 5000mah battery, a 6.8 clean and clear screen with no hole punch and fingerprint reader on the power button would be a real kicker.

      @@TheTechPreacher Naaaah the Note 7 FE was Samsung's way to try to save a little bit of reputation after the debacle of Note 7. Neither the S20 FE or the unnecessary S21 FE are Note phones. Note 9 was the last most complete Samsung phone. A proper Note 9 FE is what I'm talking about.

    My Note9 has 512GB of storage.... That is how I ordered it from the factory back in January 2018. While my newer Galaxy S21, which I purchased in August of 2021 has only 128GB of Storage(the 512GB model was not available in the local T-mobile retail location.) This is a massive difference. In this video I believe the S21 did slightly better in most categories, while the Note 9 was obviously much better with slowmotion footage. However, the difference was very miniscule though noticeable under strict scrutiny. I don't think you can go wrong with either personally, but if you want a crisper picture with a little higher details then you should go with the S21 if you're not recording allot of footage given that it can over heat. God bless guys and thanks for the awesome video!

  • @michaelberg7201
    @michaelberg7201 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for this comparison. I just got the S21 Ultra and so far I'm not extremely impressed with the camera. It looks extremely overprocessed as it tries to emphasize color and shadow details, giving everything a HDR/Clarity boosted appearance. The slight softness, deeper shadows and overall more contrasty shot of the Note 9 gives more natural results in this comparison at least. The S21 Ultra did redeem itself in the selfie department where the quality and skin tones were considerably better than on the Note 9 - and also in the 10x zoom example for obvious reasons. Btw did you use any kind of "scene enhancer" in these shots?

    Man I bough note 20 ultra over note 8 two months ago.. And i can say that some pocrures look better on n8, so the n9 in your video wins quite some times, just mine opinion.
    Btw here is 36 degrees Celsius and the ultra 20 heats up in bag to 55c, not even using it, preety bad. When i come home i pit it in freezer for 13minutes and it drops to 12c degrees and normalizes 34c in 15min

    Wow thst S21 Ultra overheating issue is no Bueno. I think that's really a Snapdragon 888 issue at the core of things. Qualcomm 888 chips are running hot in all these OEM phones. If the OEMs don't pack enough cooling into these phones to keep these hot chips cool with heavy usage, their phones are going to be overheating. Great comparison too.

    Great content. But it was no contest, the s21 ultra blew the note 9 out of the water, and if people don't think so there only fooling themselves.
