Jamaican women had been doing it since 2008, just the world gave all the attention to the Jamaican men. But we Jamaicans always appreciated what our women have been doing in track and field.

@@mattiaswibom4788 - we do give a darn, and we are so pleased that SAFP has finally won an Olympic 4x100m relay Gold medal, after taking two Silver medals, and a DNF in 2008. Those Caucasian sports announcers do not represent what is going on in Jamaica. SAFP is a Queen, and as far as we are concerned the GOAT of female sprinters. Elaine Thompson-Herra will earn her mantle in 2024, and Brianna Williams in 2028 and 2032.

When we were children we were constantly being told by our mother or granny "Run go dung a shop me pickney and buy 2lb a flour" or whatever it is they had run short of, especially if they were cooking. Running is in our blood. Genes, maybe but am not certain if any significant way that gives us an edge over other nations. @@MrOrsen What nonsense is this. Hasn't it been shown since that it was just a matter of disappointment and that the lovely girls have shown the kind of comaradie that belies the true Jamaican spirit. This is really an idiotic comment considering it was made just little over an hour ago.

@@purrplemane5954 try justifying this as much as you can but its VERY EVIDENT 😂 you can’t be disappointed for that long and not to even congratulate your country mate for winning and even breaking the OR. Come on now 😂. Oh Well goodnight homeboy/girl 😂
