You're my best friend, I'll love you forever.

So I've watched House of The Dragon recently and this is what happens when listening to The Neighbourhood on repeat gives you rhaenicent-related lyric interpretation. I love them together.
To be honest, I started editing this video by working on the "you're my best friend, I'll love you forever" part right away after creating this project, before putting the rest together, because all I could think about was Rhaenyra looking down at Alicent's illustration paper, looking as if she were having regrets and fondness for Alicent still, despite her anger and revenge plans. Making this part literally made me feel a lump in my throat when matched with the lyrics because, for some reason, it made me think about my own best friend, with whom our relationship has been fragilised and questioned by challenging, unfortunate events.

I can't believe I didn't see this sooner. This is amazing! The song choice, the parallels, the colouring. It's brilliantly edited.
Rhaenyra & Alicent have such a beautiful, complex relationship. Incredibly tragic. I always find myself drawn to doomed pairings, whether it's platonic or more (ex: Daenerys & Jorah). These two have me in an emotional chokehold as well. 😭 #Rhaenicent
