Came to say the same thing, all the rest of those, umm, highfalutin individuals are only worried about the diggers and maybe some tracks, but Clint gave us the WHOLE tour. Appreciate it good sir! Nice of that young feller to let you take the sticks for a bit, what's his name again? Escapes me at the moment ;) j/k Chris!

There are hundreds of videos of this show on TH-cam just search for National Pike and you will find many posts of this show with more than just earthmovers. My best advice to attend one of our two shows as there is no video that can truly capture this event, our biggest show is in August. As a volunteer I spend about 2 weeks there for each show traveling about 500 miles round trip. Just awesome for me to be part of.

I hope you enjoyed our local steam show. It has been going since 1975. It started on 1 acre of one of the 5 founders farm, and after 2 years it moved to its current location. It is 100 acres now and for some reason, I think the property is a total of 300 acres. It has more additions of equipment every year and draws people from great distances.

I attended my first one about 15 years ago. I was so impressed that I became a member. While I can't volunteer or participate, I can still support this wonderful "working museum" through my donation.
      I thank you all.👏

These are the machines I grew up watching in the late 50’s and 60’s! As soon as school let out I made a beeline for the nearest construction site where I would sit on the spoil piles watching the operator’s every move! Good memories.

Clinton I know you’re Dad and I are the same age, I know he remembers how they use to grade the roads 98 percent where I grew up were dirt.. It was a Cat D 2 pulling a road scraper… l remember the first motor grader I saw with all the handles I loved them. I put that on my bucket list but I am afraid my time is beginning to run out finding one to drive… Would be a fantastic place to have a place to have those for old machines to let us old farts to relive our memories..
