Ashwin should have been a permanent fixture and a sure starter in the 11 as Number 8 in tests. Much like Anil Kimble or Murali or Lyon.

Hi Robin , I have followed your cricket very closely , I played against you when you played for BPCA and noticed that you were very different to any of the other lads , I currently work as a doctor in UK and play premier division cricket , you deserved to play a lot more T20 and one day cricket for India , you still look brilliant even when you play now , please make comeback for RCB 🙏

I think Ashwin played the 2021 WTC Final against NZ under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I sense a very strong hate from you towards Kohli for some reason. That guy literally changed the face of Indian cricket and to a large extent, the general society. He was very unfortunate to lose his spot as captain in the longer formats of the game. How is Rohit Sharma still the captain in tests or even in ODIs after losing to NZ at home so miserably and we couldn't prepare well enough to beat Australia at home after having beaten them in the first game of the tournament. How is Rohit Sharma still in a position to make such bold claims on national tele? BE HUMBLE. If he thinks he's a test great, he's delusional. If he thinks he's an ODI great, again, not quite there. He's a good player and has played a few good knocks here and there. But cmon, you can't come out and say. "I'm selfless." Selfless people don't do that. They just perform for the team and win games. Virat Kohli has won more matches with his bat than any of these so called selfless leaders. 56 centuries of his have come in a winning cause. Rohit doesn't even have that many centuries in his career, not to mention the match winning 50s Virat has scored in T20 events throughout the years. Rohit was helped by the BCCI to get this T20 WC. We didn't even think to make it subtle. Setting up a semi in Guyana, where our bowlers would restrict any side below 150 was just not on. The whole world knew this world cup was for us to win. And despite that, our selfless captain had more than 3 faux pas on the biggest day, throwing his wicket away, sending Dube ahead of Hardik who had scored a 26 ball 50 in the same ground a few weeks ago and bowling Axar against Klaasen. He had almost ensured our defeat. And then again, Hardik, Bumrah, Arshdeep to the rescue. What did Hardik get for his efforts? He was ousted, he's not even the vice captain anymore I think. Surya and everyone who would lick his boots gets the nod. This is so obvious and blatant that even a person who hasn't followed cricket for longer than 5 years would connect the dots. Ajit Agarkar is the cherry on top. Mumbai lobby is ruining Indian Cricket.

He was a successful spinner and the brought relevancy to his social media through benefits of being a 'current cricketer' and shared fraction of the stories that goes behind the scenes
. That said his style of sitting on a high horse and talking gully cricket crap will be his downfall in social media. Omw time, he was asking for pitching outside leg rule to be removed - absolute crap from a cricketer.I so think his stay as a player in csk will be shortlived as the batsman have figured him out

TNPL is not gully cricket. If at all Rohit or VK spent some time on domestic when they went out of form, they might have done better recently. Sachin did...

He should have called.it a day once his lacklustre performance caused us the home series vs NZ. Also never know why two off spinners were picked for an aus tour which has limited options for the India team..they are playing the fifth test on a green top with two spinners- ridiculous

He could have given up playing when he went through a severe injury that kept him out of the game for the better part of a year during his teens, but he didn't.
That's the mind set that made him the player that he is, it is about evolving with every appearance, like how he became better against Robin after their initial encounters.
At least don't berate on the timing of his retirement , he still had a good 2024 finishing behind Bumrah in tests, a MoS against Bangladesh a few months ago.
I'm not even getting into the legends who are hogging spots for years together based on their performances in other formats.
