It makes me wonder if Liu Kang not only chose to rewrite the history of the Great Kung Lao but also restore the more loving Sindel fans have known throughout the series since Midway's timeline? It would be a Liu Kang thing to do indubitably. And it wouldn't surprise me if they wrote Sindel the way she is in Aftermath on purpose just to set her up to be a more kind-hearted Edenian being in the new era that shall begin in MK12.
