I like that in the intros Kotal is much more calm and humbled than the aggressive and arrogant intros in mkx. Also apperently Kotal and Shao Kahn's first intro is a Hamilton reference.
To be fair, a lot of intros seems to imply Kitana has became Khan of Outworld. So at that point, he was reunited with Jade, and was defeated by Shao Khan, shortly before witnessing Kitana defeating the latter. So yeah, at that point he had become much wiser.

@@lapplandkun9273 To be quite honest, she didn't do bad as Sonya, especially in the story. Now I can't unimagine her voice without Rousey doing it. They may be cheesy at times but she did a hell of a good job without that grumpy arrogant attitude in the campaign.
