- Let's take a look at the evolution/comparison of HAIRCUTS (Barber shops) LOGIC in Rockstar Games (GTA + RDR2 -- from 2001 to 2020).
Games covered: GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA 4, GTA 5 & RDR2. This Channel will also cover GTA 6 when it releases. We'll be examining different barber shop mechanics (barber shops, hair styles, colors, maximum hair/beard length etc.) for Claude, Tommy Vercetti, CJ, Niko, Franklin, Michael, Trevor & John Marston/Arthur Morgan. In GTA V you will lose your wanted level the FIRST time you go into a barber shop, because it plays a cut scene when you go in which loses your wanted level. After the first time, no cut scene therefore the wanted level remains.

RR2 is the best game rockstar has came out with, they should keep some mechanics if they make gta 6 ever, such as beard growing and being able to shave and etc.

Obviously RDR2 has the best hair logic as it grows by itself and it cannot be grown manually, which is pretty cool.

But yeah it is great how it is very realistic with the "Accesability" of hairstyles based on your hairs lenght that dynamically grows, and the option to immersively get longer hair quick if you accidently cut it off too short later in the game
Would be cool if they have an option to enable or disable hair growth and beard growth because john or arthur extra clean shaven always lasts for 2 in game days and their stubble came out and I hope that you can trim full clean shave at your camp even your hair though or maybe you also have a option to go to your inventory/satchel and you cut/trim your hair or beard and have a good experience for more of it like arthur or john holds a blade trimmer or hair trimmer and freely cut or trim anywhere in the free roam world.

Obviously RDR2 has the best logic when it comes to haircuts (mostly). You can’t simply find a barber and pay them to magically grow your hair out for you, just like real life they can only work with what you have. The tonic kinda throws it off but I never used it preferring to let my hair grow naturally as I played
