Thank you 🤗Welcome to the channel! Looking back at my Auld crane and Wilesco Traktor, they're in pretty much original condition. How many modern toys can you say that? Model steam engines might be a bit meditative for the modern screen generation, though...
......ahhhhh. Yes. About that. They have definitely been built. By someone....even more definitely, modified and optimised by me :)). Thanks for your comment!
That was neatly done. Thanks amigo, and greetings from the U.S. I don't know if you know him, but Howard, over at Milford Lathes, has some great stuff for sale on his site. I recently purchased a Stuart D10 that is currently the crown of my collection.
That first one, a great little engine, only i dont know what i'd call it, its a V-Twin like a Harley but the cylinders and heads seem to be modelled after an air cooled BMW engine and the timing cover is Triumph Twin design.
@@ducttapetech9885 After all these years, and with more knowledge now, I realise the attention to detail he put in. Hardened piston, silver soldered boiler, solidly built safety valve holding double the pressure of a Mamod or Wilesco, and that machining quality. Standout in steam toys, I think
Flick me a comment, like,...please...best way to support the channel. Do it early in the vid for The ALGORITHM
What a fun collection. I love the old toys.

Proper bloke collection there ( jealous ) should have played the sound track from The straight story, at the end .😂
Just listened to it, if it's the right one it's got a real "train whistle" kinda burst from a harmonica. Sad though...
