Thats a very good theory my mate. If anyone was to take down the ghost of sparta then Odin would be the obvious choice...but what if its not Odin or Kratos riding the horse weilding the axe but little Loki. We do have images of Kratos dieing and his son holding him..Loki gave birth to the six legged horse that odin rides but..no where does it say that loki never rode his son into battle...maybe seeking vengance for kratos against Odin? I like where your head is at though..Im watching a lot of your viseos and may i say...very interesting. Good work.
i think its more likely that it is kratos riding the horse since in the mythology the horse is a child of loki and i think i got that right loki is actually atreus
@@KaptainKuba I have a theory on how he dies and goes to Valhalla, where Odin tortures him to the point where he breaks free and goes on a rampage cause he thinks Atrues is in danger, gives scope for new aisir weaponry and all
@@KaptainKuba if they make atreus the protagonist they'd have to change the title of the series completely. Also if you read the novel for the 2018 game it explains how Kratos survived at the end of gow 3. It states after he released the power of hope he was cursed to walk the earth for eternity so he can't die unless someone can break his curse. Even Baldur states in the final boss fight why Kratos can't die after he activates spartan rage in the final battle so if his gonna die it might be because someone is successful in breaking his curse and I think Freya is gonna be the one to do so
Mimir said to Kratos "Prophecy didn't count on you, brother.". So everything depicted could be wrong, since this is a prophecy to Ragnarok without Kratos.
The real piu Dipai, see the Underworld in Greece is a *place*, while the realm of Helheim is just nothing but a cold, impenetrable fog. Getting angry and yelling for Odin won’t do shit lmao.
Fey the wife of kratos. I think her ashes will bring the Giants back to life, and that's how they fight in Ragnarok. She predicted and even marked the way for kratos and Boy.
That kinda makes sense, because Faye herself was a giant and her final wish was to spread her ashes on the highest peak or the realm (jotunheim, realm of the giants) so I wouldn't be surprised if she told Kratos and Atreus to do it so they can be revived
Kratos already changed his fate several times. He was meant to die in god of war 1 to 3 but he changed his fate by killing the sisters of fate. Even mimir already stated that he already changed the fate of Ragnarok after he killed Baldur because mimir stated that fimbalwinter was meant to happen after another 150 winters buts Kratos caused it to happened 150 years earlier
@@therevanchist2888 The studios won't stick to the original ragnarok just like Marvel. Baldur is killed and Magi and Modi who are supposed to be the survivors don't make it, Baldur who is a god of all god things is a spoiled brat, loki is Kratos's son, Thor who should have been the protector of Mankind and Enemy to all those bad and one who only kill for the sake of good is an abusive parent and Evil murder freak. Odin might as well wont be a nomad of Knowledge but a kill freak himself. They changing the stories means Ragnarok would be changed too
@@omegadeadpool4987 there's many theories on who Arteur is. Some theories say he might be tyr or Loki but one thing is for sure arteur can manipulate lightning something Loki cant do.
I disagree. The Norse mythologies are generally on a much higher cosmic scale than much of the mythos surrounding the Olympians, at least in the God of War series. That being said, the Norse Gods are still fucked. You don't mess with Kratos. Just don't.
In the gow so far games the olympians have shown to have way more raw power than Norse gods a good example is Magni Norse god of strength he looked cool but was a let down to fight and didn't seem like he even stood small chance meanwhile his olympian counter part Hercules fought a younger stronger and more angry kratos and could have won had he not boasted (look at how he trembles) but I do suspect the Norse gods are gonna get to show off more of there power in the next game
Lord Vergil Magni lifted a Stone giant when he was a child That is something heavier than anything Heracles had lifted Also Thor is gonna send the world serpent to the past with a hit which is a demonstration of power. There isn’t gods in Greek mythology capable of doing that. There are also stories about Thor killing high numbers of giants at the same time. So basically he could have ended the war between Greek gods and titans in a day. I just can think about GoW 3 and how the gods were struggling to kill every titans and how Thor basically one shot giants with his hammer. Norse gods are truly ok another level
@@papaoso8340 that, is where you are wrong pal. Titans >>>>> Giants. Blade of olympus >> Blades of chaos >>>> mjolnir = axe. Heracles just like kratos is stronger than atlas and has taken his torment from him for a while
Though I feel that this franchise could continue with either Kratos or Atreus being the main character after God of War (2018). But if Atreus is truly given that title to be the main character of this recent game, with Kratos truly being dead and gone, it's definitely going to be something to shake the franchise far more than Ragnarok could ever touch upon.
Well I actually want Atreus to be the next protagonist of the GOW franchise. I think it would be very informative and amazing to see how he interacts with other mythologies, maybe he learns from them and maybe he's like Tyr traveling to different mythologies and trying to bring peace to their lands before continuing on to do the same to the other mythologies. That would be cool to see.
I know this already, from beating the game. Just a thought in regards to how there's the possibility of Kratos dying, and being dead for good. Due to that mural at the end of the game.
I feel like it’s more likely Kratos will Embrace his past and become the monster he once was. Fighting with the Blades of chaos/exile rather than the axe
Kratos dies... Kratos: This realm will be a gift to my future granddaughter Hel. Dead ogre soul: But- Kratos: Do you have an objection, foul beast? Dead ogre soul: Nope, enjoy renovating this realm with your fists and blades, sir.
@@anthonyroyforbes Lol didnt even know 🤣. I feel like the only problem is that even though the new god of war is based around the norse mythology, the main story so far is not.
He died in the first game though lol doesn’t mean he can’t die and maybe be brought back to life by Atreus in the following game? I’m calling it that’s my theory! Lmao
Kaptain! I was looking for you on Reddit or somewhere else. I have an interesting theory to share with you: Fenrir must exist during the game's events. We've heard Mimir mention Hrodvitnir - the Arch Wolf, as being the father of Skoll and Hati. But Hrodvitnir is just another name for Fenrir. Mimir confirms that during the game, Skoll and Hati already circle the Earth, chasing the Moon and the Sun. Therefore, if Hrodvitnir is Fenrir, then that confirms his existence at this time. Mimir is all-knowing and as such, he still refers to Skoll and Hati's father as Hrodvitnir, which must mean that either he does not know that it is another name for Fenrir or that Odin has deceived him for some reason. Or maybe even that Fenrir has taken up another name/cause after some timey-whimey business? Theory 1: Fenrir exists, which means that somehow he must have gotten sent back through time to have Skoll and Hati, or had already had them and was then sent forward, after Odin was done with him (stealing the then pups Skoll and Hati). Which leads me to another theory. With all of this deceit in play and Atreus' mother being such an excellent bluffer in a game of Celestial Poker, could the naming of Atreus as "Loki" be just a ploy to deceive Odin while the real Loki is bringing Ragnarok to fruition? Theory 2: Atreus was named Loki in order to deceive the Gods. His mother uses him as bait to waste Odin's time, which would also maybe explain why her people seemed unhappy with her towards the end. I hope you manage to see this! I've been keeping it at my side for your next upload's comment section for quite awhile. PS: Thanks for all the awesome content! Feel free to speak about any of my finds, I'd be honored.
@@KaptainKuba Because she is effectively disrespecting the real Loki - someone who they look up to, because he is trying to stop Odin. They see her plan as effective treason, even possibly undermining the real Loki and his actions, but she decides to go with it, causing them to turn on her and revoke her Club Giant license.
@@dylana.9057 That's never stated directly to my knowledge. The real Loki might have appreciated Faye's plan and implanted a thought of Atreus in the mind of Jormungandr in order to help her with her plan. As a trickster, he is likely to see opportunity where it presents itself. This is a good opportunity for him to get an upper hand on everything, whatever the cost, as long as it leads to the downfall of Odin.
@@KaptainKuba Btw, another thing I noticed that has not been brought up is, that after Ragnarok, it is said that only two will remain - one man and one woman. This means that after Ragnarok in this new series of GoW games, it will either be another Sequel/Reboot with Kratos being a survivor and then moving on to another mythology, or Atreus will be the survivor and it will be a full-on reboot with no looking back, in my opinion. But even if speculating on that, a huge question remains: what woman will survive along with them? Because there must be two! Or they can simply overlook that and... you know, not follow the mythology that close.
End of God of War 5 Kratos and Thor fight, both beat each other near death but eventually Kratos kills Thor, then weakened from his fight with Thor, Odin arrives and kills Kratos. Of course Atreus would see this and attack Odin with all the might he has, to no success. Odin would then knock out Atreus, and seeing how he lost his 2 sons and seeing Atreus's warrior spirit he would Ignorantly Adopt Atreus, not knowing the true power that lies dormant in him and one goal of killing the man that killed his father. (Just how I would like it to play out.)
@@vlad_47 I think he could, remember Alfheim we know he perfectly capable of using the Leviathan Axe, but i do get it The boy will never be as great as the God Of War
Cap don’t underestimate Odin, you only know what Kratos is possible of but Odin is a whole another god compared to Zeus. Odin overpowers Greek mythology
I hate to say this but in one way or another, Kratos' narrative is at an end. His character development, you see, has already come full circle, and there's really no other way to go beyond that without cheapening his colorful life. His story is done, Atreus is next in line for the G.O.W. series, I just hope the devs give him a good ending.
Your god of war videos are literally the best on TH-cam and u r super underrated for what u bring to the table...really looking forward to your next god of war video
i really like this theory, as it would really make sense for the Atreus turning into loki story line/ character ark. an all out final war btw the giants and the aesir gods. Odin killing kratos forces atreus to really take on the loki persona and is fueled with vengeance. but i think it;ll be thor to kill kratos instead of odin( b/c a possible boss battle was teased btw kratos and thor at the end of GOW 4 ). but anything is possible.
In previous God of Wars in the beginning there was a boss that beat the shit out of Kratos which lead to lose Kratos' weapons ( to start from the beginning, regaining power) so in the next one they might do the same (when Kratos got blades back there was fight before and after known in previous God of Wars so it can be possible) anyway they have to do something to lose Kratos' powers and abilities that he owns in the end of GoW 4 because its a continuation. I think Kratos will face Thor and Thor will steal his weapons( probably only leviathan axe because blades are somehow attached to Kratos that he cant get rid of them but who knows). Also the beginning of the game can be discovering Atreus' ability to turn into animals because on the mural in the end of gow 4 he's walking with two wolves and right to that(happening next) is most likely Kratos death so he could even die on battle with Thor and then with help of the valkyries, because he saved them, return to Midgard alive. In my eyes it makes sense but who knows what Cory will come up with.
And what boss was that? The only one who can say something like that is the colossus but it was kratos fault cus he stupidly downleveled himself the colossus only gave zeus the chance to grab the blade thats all. In gow3 zeus did that but he wasnt boss tho 😅
I think the bird is the Resurrection form of Zeus. I wish with all of my heart, odin is a necromancer. Think it;Ares, Zeus, posedion and hades are return and we have to fight them again 😉
Hahaha someone else made this comment already, and i never thought about it. I dont.think theres a bird like creature that fights for the aseir, the next big chatacter who would fight against kratos in bird form would be his previous nemesis, zeus.....
I've been saying this for awhile now on your comments of the videos. Odin will kill Kratos. It's pretty simple and there is influence of Old Norse mythology here. Much like how Baldur was still killed with a mistletoe arrow by Loki directly instead of indirectly via a blind man. Baldur at the beginning of the game was searching the lands for "The Giant" to slay. He didn't realize that the giant was Kratos until he found him. Kratos = Atreus father. Odin in Mythology kills the giant that is Loki's father. From the guilt of this, he takes Loki in as an orphan child. Never adopted. Still treated like shit. I can see Krato's death being the fire that fuels Loki's vengeance to truly bring on Ragnarok. Baldur was the symbolically start of Ragnarok in this game instead of the actual start of it.
...drawing from Marvel's Thor I see. Loki was never Odin's adopted child in actual Norse Mythology. In fact, Loki is actually a brother of sorts to Odin, thus, an adoptive uncle of Thor.
Kratos is not a giant thou, it was Atreus and his mother (Faye) who are giants. Baldur was sent for the last giant but it wasn't Kratos, Baldur was there for Faye. That's why Baldur says "I thought you'd be much bigger" when he sees Kratos. Baldur and Odin didn't know who the last giant was but just knew that one last giant existed. Baldur thinks that Kratos is that gaint but it's at the end of the game it's revealed to us that Faye was a gaint, which was baldurs target and he was there to kill her and had nothing to do with Kratos.
@@vishnooi2039 Faye cast a spell on Kratos and Atreus to make sure their whereabouts were unknown to the realm up until her death. Her death took the spell off. Hence why Baldur was able to feel his presence now. Everyone in the realm already knew Faye was a giant. She was the last remaining Giant according to their knowledge. But the presence they felt of another was that of Atreus but they mistaken it for Kratos. And no in Norse mythology Loki's father is Fárbauti. He's a Jotunn husband to Laufey. Jotunn = Frost Giant... Frost what? .. Giant.
@@rastazorastra1772 yeah, but they aren't going by Norse mythology by how it actually went. They are making their own version of it, just how Marvel made their own version where the Norse gods aren't gods but aliens with long life spans.
You think kratos will stay dead lmao he died 3 times and still came back i don't think he'll let his son be with Odin,I mean he can come back to life he wants and control the time as he wants to I think,it wouldn't be easy to kill kratos because he can literally come back to life and in the new trailers tyr is there maybe he knows more about Odin and how to kill him
This is a good video, the hype for a Norse God of War sequel is truly killing everyone. However, there are few things you should know first and be corrected: 1-There are other deities besides Thor, Odin, Freya/Frigg, Heimdall and Freyr that could be used as bosses, villains, allies or at least neutral NPCs in the future. There are Njord (god of seas and winds, who is mentioned by Mimir on the way to Thamur's corpse), Vidarr (god of revenge and footwear), Ullr (god of hunting and archery), Bragi (god of arts and music), Hermod (messenger of the gods), Sif (wife of Thor) and Idunn (goddess of the golden apples which give immortality, they appear in the game as items in the puzzle treasure chests that increase your health capacity). There are also non-god characters like Surtur (the fire giant while an ally to Kratos, could challenge him to a sparring contest as a boss fight to test his strength), Skadi (Jotnar/giant goddess of the winter and skiing, who appears as a mural in the game), Fenrir (the giant wolf, brother of Jormungandr and son of Loki), Hel (goddess of the underworld, the daughter of Loki which is the sister to both Jormungandr and Fenrir), Angrboda (Jotnar/giant who is the wife of Loki and the mother of his children, she appears as a mural in the game), Ratatoskr (the squirrel appears as an optional sidequest and a runic summon in the game, however he should have a bigger role in the future) and Nidhoggr (the dragon who eats Yggdrasil). 2-There's a problem with Forseti here. According to the official novelization of the game Freya's curse also made Baldur sterile so he can't have a child unlike his original mythological counterpart. The only way Forseti can appear in the GoW series is if he's instead made into a son of Odin, which is logical since the games already take some artistic license and inaccuracies to the source material (granted I am not complaining and I still love this epic franchise). 3-The boar is actually Hildisvini, not Gullinbursti. Freyr however is trapped as a prisoner of war either in Asgard or Vanaheim, which are both currently locked by Odin. Worth knowing is that Svartalheim is also locked and will probably play a role in the story. 4-Heimdall is already officially confirmed. After you kill the dragon Hraezlyr, Sindri mentions him when he gives you the mistletoe arrows. 5-The sequels must decrease the runic cooldown time and instead introduce a blue mana meter (along with blue crystals to refill it), like the old Greek games. 6-While I like Atreus/Loki, I don't want Kratos to die for keeps and to be replaced as the protagonist. Howeve, I want Atreus/Loki to be a teenager in the sequel (and an adult in the third/final game), with the player being able with a push of a button to switch between him and Kratos to have playable whenever we want. Also, we should be able to play as Jormungandr and Fenrir during certain sections (especially in a bossfight against Nidhoggr and Odin respectfully) by having Kratos and Atreus ride them. I don't know if this is possible with the current engine they have made and used, however it would be epic to control Loki's children to kill the other Norse deities and monsters. 7-Would be great if we could see how Faye/Laufey and Tyr look like, either via time travel or in flashbacks. 8-That's very good that you used Odin from the ''Jotun'' game in the video. Personally I want him to be able to turn into a giant while riding his horse Sleipnir (who also turns giant) and fly in the sky of Asgard while shooting you with his spear Gungnir and use powerful magic spells. He should look like this: i.pinimg.com/originals/30/cd/ef/30cdefe0be2e2355512cef5b89304afe.jpg, however he should wear an eyepatch, and all his clothes (including his helmet and the ornament wings on it) should be colored black, due to being a death god. Please note that Odin is powerful due to being the god of many things- war, rage, death, magic, weather, poetry, writing and knowledge. Thats's all I have to say and congratulate you on creating these videos which are very good.
Well, Kratos could avoid his fate on the wall. Remember the Sisters of Fate? Kratos managed to avoid his fate then. Edit: If they kill off Kratos, than I'm never going to play a God of War game again.
@Borderguy342 I know everything has/needs an ending. But my point here, is if Kratos dies, is Atreus going to continue the God of War Series? Like Uncharted? Heck if Kratos dies than he can easily come back.
I think the bird getting shot is a reference to the story of Shadi, the tale is that Shadi was the daughter of a Powerful Man that can turn into any animal, you see in shadi’s tale The Aesir Gods told Shadi to shoot a random Eagle but when she killed the Eagle she found out the Eagle was actually her Father. At the end of the tale Shadi keeps her father’s bow
I hope they dont do this but for an entertaining thought, What if the fight is like you as kratos fighting your hardest, but the game is endlessly in Odin's favor, and it ends with an interactive cutscene with you trying to escape from death(failed blocks, crawling) but to no avail you're brutally murdered by Odin.
Allways give me a hard time with translation, because the sowelu rune was messed up in the game. Okay on the right side with this warriors stand "sinir muspels", what leads me to the thought, those are Fire Gigants. On the left side were Freya is it says On the top stands "Groa spar rokks ragna" In the middle on the right of the witch: "Sekir Eiginmann, Finn Ragnarokk" And at the bottem "Dauthr ok Endrburthr rika" I have no clue what that means. English - Islandic translation programm does not help me.
This bird is freya because in the last boss fight(Baldur) she appears as bird and when they go to giants land mimir tells that freya visited him and she asked him about her valkryie wings. So one more valkryie boss fight
Hey kaptain kuba you know that at the end of the game you see a dead Kratos in the hands of atreus well if you look a little bit above it there are runes if you can translate those runes maybe it will tell us something
@@KaptainKuba yeah :p plus Loki only fathers Sleipnir because Odin orders him to distract another magic horse.. And I don't picture Atreus taking orders from Odin any time soon
My only problem with 6:45 is that the man could tyr because tyr could not be dead just captive in some dungeons and come ragnarok Odin kills tyr because Atreus had to choose between tyr or Kratos and Atreus chose his father and that thing around them was jormungander plus the reason why they got there could because Freya gave the duo they secret in Asgard’s defence which she was told by the giants to use come ragnarok and they went to rescue tyr after being told he was still alive by an apparent ally but was actually an aiser(please correct me if I’m wrong with the spelling) in disguise as a way to lure them into a trap after they severely harmed thor
I personally think Kratos won't die because come on he already died 3 times in the previous ones... But if he actually dies i don't think his death will be from a battle again, i think Atreus is going to kill him after he breaks his curse of being immortal
This theory could work without kratos being like normal ragnarok but the plot twist is that odin could not see in the book that he stole because the interference of kratos in midgard so odin is furious and sent baldur to investigate and after what happened in gow thor come to have revenge but he must return kratos alive for odin for some creepy stuff
if they'll do that, the creator must give it a good and satisfying boss battle because Kratos wont surrender that easily. he escaped Hades again and again..
Just me or do y'all agree that the bird in the mural is Freya? Cause before the final boss fight between Baldur and Kratos she is disguised as a bird and claims to be looking for Baldur
Love the theory but no. On the mural at the end you see Faye clearly holding the leviathan axe. Barlog didnt just slap some images on a wall so if Odin were holding the leviathan axe it would look like the axe just like on Faye
The bird is the eagle that Zeus had as his assistant within a legend of Prometheus That same eagle supposedly was tearing out Prometheus' liver on the daily basis for his transgressions We first see him with Zeus next to him. Perfect correlation. It was not an illusion, it was Zeus speaking to Kratos. Because Gods don't really die that easy.
[ spoiler? Kinda.. idk ] I hope there’s a intro prologue on GOD OF WAR 5 ragnarok starts with a normal mission with kratos and grown up atreus ( 17-19 yrs old ) Showing Atreus getting control of his rage, getting better with arrows and slowly getting stronger like his Spartan father. ( you know that one emotional like scene where kratos will be slightly amazed by his taught skills and how Atreus slowly becomes like kratos ( not like his old past but stronger and stuff ) and there will a scene where kratos goes against Thor and beats him. And while kratos is about to kill/knock out Thor.. there comes Odin stabbing kratos in the his back killing him. Furiously Atreus goes against Odin and gets knocked out. And there the story starts. Half of the mission has Atreus and other half as Kratos in Valhalla escaping Odins tortures and beatings. There our story continues. With Atreus becoming stronger, knowing how to use the Axe/Blades of chaos OR maybe we see athenas Ghost guiding Atreus to the blades of exile or Athena ( maybe ) and Atreus’ mind filled with Rage and revenge against Odin and Thor. Slowly becoming a monster like kratos when he didn’t wanted him to.
4:24 that bird can be freya, (baldur's mother),I know the chances of the bird being her are 13% but, think about it, before the boss fight (baldur), she shows up looking like the exact bird that is showing in that closet (I forgot its name is) thing, and odin might have released the curse of her not able to hurt anyone so she can fight with him in Ragnarok. Or if u don't think so, it may be another of odins ravens, just so we can know that the guy underneath it is no other than odin
to note as well, prophecy spoke that fimblewinter wasn't to happen for another hundred winters, but it was because it didn't account for kratos being there that is was wrong
The bird is Thiazi, father of the goddess Skadi. He was able to capture the goddess Idunn, who in turn was the protector of the apples, that give the gods immortality. Loki, who was more or less responsible for Idunns capture, got help from Freya, who lend him her coat, which in turn could transform him into a bird/falcon. He found Idunn alone, transformed her into a nut and carried her away, back to Asgard. Thiazi followed him by transforming himself into an eagle (he was famous for that) and almost catched them, but the gods saw them and started a fire on the walls of Asgard, which burned Thiazis feathers and he fell to his death. His daughter Skadi then came to Asgard and wanted to have "Wergeld", which is akin to substitution for a loss or great grievance. She wanted to marry Baldr, who was the most beautiful god and the Aesir allowed her to search for a husband, but she could only look at this feet and had to choose him from that. Overall, she choose Njord, the god of the sea and father of Freya and Freyr. She did not like him that much and they lived apart. Skadis mythological importance and her details vary with the sources. What i wrote her is from the Skáldskaparmál. In the God of War adaptation of this myth, his daughter Skadi was tricked by Odin to hunt for an eagle, who had stoles Idunn and her apples and was in turn Thiazi. She killed him, only to discover that she killed her father.
In the second god of war kratos dies and is saved by the titans in tarterus. Perhaps something similar will happen where kratos is killed killed but is saved by a group of giant souls in helhyme. While killed by Thor at the start Atreus prepares for revenge while the axe is taken to Oden. When kratos gets back to life (because time works different among the realms) Atreus is full grown with rage and raising the spirits like kratos did the titans.
Atreus will be storming ragnorok and kratos will not pick sides just slaughtering his way to Atreus to save his son Bonus points if fey aids kratos to save there son but because fey is a giant and likely bent on revenge shell (and sadly) be an obstacle to kratos
Just thought of something, the serpent said that Atreus looked familiar (since later on in the game we find out that Atreus is Loki, father of the serpent), but he doesn’t think Kratos looks familiar. Since the serpent has seen ragnarok and doesn’t find Kratos familiar, Kratos could not been around when Ragnarok comes.
@@lukephillips6339 you got me thinking about jormungandr now, he also tells kratos " I know the pain of your loss" who did jormungadr lose? His father?
Now that I think about it. mimir did say that , by kratos killing thors sons and baldur he made ragnarok come sooner and messed with the cycle or something rather. So kratos probably wasn’t supposed too die but will prevent it in the next game.
At the 4:24 timemark when u ask the viewers to leave a comment about who they think the bird is.well I think it's Thanatos from god of war ghosts of Sparta still alive in hell/ the other realm somehow notice the same ferry boat in the deathworld similar to the one u fight the ferry man in ghost of sparta that same kinda boat is the one areus and kratos ride by on the bird I'm sure u know who Thanatos is go look at his transformation his eyes similar to that bird eyes
Hey Kaptain Kuba kratos will not die in ragnarok that person in the mural at 6:10 is odin I have proof of this, when you enter muspheliem for the first time and the open the first mural you see atreus (or brok i dont remember) tells us that its odin and thor together fighting sutrt the fire giant
Written beside the archers is “sinir muspells” “sinir” is not an old Norse word, but is is very similar to “synir” the plural for “sonr” which means that this text means “muspells sons” or “sons of muspell”
Well if you know norse mythology, then you know that odin raised loki as family so if "atreus is loki" as they say then of course he or somebody is going to kill kratos and take atreus.
coming back to this mural after ragnarok, we see the 8 legged horse yet it's not in the game anywhere, i know groa lied but why would she make up a random horse? if she didnt make it up and was in fact part of the truth of what she saw, then where is it?
However, in the post-credit scene, the carved eagle mural where Kratos died was displayed empty, with traces of blood pointing towards the cliff. The Ghost of Sparta, having somehow survived, found that he was condemned to walk on Earth forever as a punishment for his terrible deeds. Seeing no reason to remain in Greece, he took his lost Chaos Knife and traveled north, hoping to leave the ruins of his past behind him.

That kinda makes sense, because Faye herself was a giant and her final wish was to spread her ashes on the highest peak or the realm (jotunheim, realm of the giants) so I wouldn't be surprised if she told Kratos and Atreus to do it so they can be revived

@@KaptainKuba what if it's artreus shooting her down?
Mladen Jovanov I was thinking about that as well
Yeah if you watched the trailer for GOWR, Freya transformed into a bird before fighting Kratos.
Norse mythology cant really challenge the slayer of olympus. Atleast in 1on1 fights. Also odin doesnt need the axe his spear is enough
Lord Vergil
Magni lifted a Stone giant when he was a child
That is something heavier than anything Heracles had lifted
Also Thor is gonna send the world serpent to the past with a hit which is a demonstration of power.

The giants resurrect from fays ashes
Kaptain! I was looking for you on Reddit or somewhere else. I have an interesting theory to share with you:
Fenrir must exist during the game's events.
Im really interested in your second theory, but I have to ask. Why would the giants be displeased with faye for taking such an interesting aproach?
Stanislav Serbezov So how does Atreus control The serpent at the end ?? Only Loki can summon the serpent like Atreus did against the revived giant
0:25 - 0:50 this should be the gow 5 intro
Sounds like the gow3 intro 👌
End of God of War 5 Kratos and Thor fight, both beat each other near death but eventually Kratos kills Thor, then weakened from his fight with Thor, Odin arrives and kills Kratos. Of course Atreus would see this and attack Odin with all the might he has, to no success. Odin would then knock out Atreus, and seeing how he lost his 2 sons and seeing Atreus's warrior spirit he would Ignorantly Adopt Atreus, not knowing the true power that lies dormant in him and one goal of killing the man that killed his father.

i really like this theory, as it would really make sense for the Atreus turning into loki story line/ character ark. an all out final war btw the giants and the aesir gods. Odin killing kratos forces atreus to really take on the loki persona and is fueled with vengeance. but i think it;ll be thor to kill kratos instead of odin( b/c a possible boss battle was teased btw kratos and thor at the end of GOW 4 ). but anything is possible.
I want Adult Atreus to look like Diemos.
Omg what an idea !❤️👍

What bugs me is that all the giants in jotunhiem are Giant, but Atreus says says that they are not all Giant.

This is a good video, the hype for a Norse God of War sequel is truly killing everyone.
However, there are few things you should know first and be corrected:
1-There are other deities besides Thor, Odin, Freya/Frigg, Heimdall and Freyr that could be used as bosses, villains, allies or at least neutral NPCs in the future.
I know they can't cast Chris Hemsworth as thor for his current stature and price but what if they cast MCU odin. That would be a nice touch.
i love thate whenever you mention freyr's sword you sound so extatic about it, we really need that weapon in ragnarok

Hahahahahah Odin will kill Kratos? Hahahahaha many stronger gods tried and they failed...
We don't know how powerful Odin and Thor is, so don't assume
Deciduous Capybara but Thor is stronger than Odin , if somebodys gonna kill Kratos its Thor
@@sadikunal9385 In the myth, yes. But we can't say for sure here.
Sadik Ünal Thor is stronger Odin is wiser
I personally think Kratos won't die because come on he already died 3 times in the previous ones... But if he actually dies i don't think his death will be from a battle again, i think Atreus is going to kill him after he breaks his curse of being immortal
Atreus : Father! See! They're talking something about Ragnarok!
Kratos : Hmm? Who's talking about me?
If Kratos dies God of War dies
It’s sad I can’t accept loosing Kratos.
"kill kratos" ahahahaha dude the the guy went to hell and back a few times you can't kill ma man kratos
I swear if they kill off kratos m gonna throw my game out of the window
Good luck with that bro
Be ready to throw your console out the window bro
If Kratos dies it will be ruined like vikings when Ragnar died😭
I love you ❤🤗
Im glad you liked the video
if they'll do that, the creator must give it a good and satisfying boss battle because Kratos wont surrender that easily. he escaped Hades again and again..
Just me or do y'all agree that the bird in the mural is Freya? Cause before the final boss fight between Baldur and Kratos she is disguised as a bird and claims to be looking for Baldur
If they kill kratos someone is getting pulled up on
Love this video! I subscribed!
Love the theory but no. On the mural at the end you see Faye clearly holding the leviathan axe. Barlog didnt just slap some images on a wall so if Odin were holding the leviathan axe it would look like the axe just like on Faye
I was thinking the exact same thing... If the theory is true the axes should look identical
The bird is the eagle that Zeus had as his assistant within a legend of Prometheus
That same eagle supposedly was tearing out Prometheus' liver on the daily basis for his transgressions
We first see him with Zeus next to him. Perfect correlation. It was not an illusion, it was Zeus speaking to Kratos. Because Gods don't really die that easy.
[ spoiler? Kinda.. idk ]
I hope there’s a intro prologue on GOD OF WAR 5 ragnarok starts with a normal mission with kratos and grown up atreus ( 17-19 yrs old )
Showing Atreus getting control of his rage, getting better with arrows and slowly getting stronger like his Spartan father.
3:35
Kratos: "WHO ARE YOU!?"
Thor: "I am a Clint Eastwood, and I brought my 6 shooter"
@kaptain kuba man I just realize if you create an theory of if Persephone is back?? Or Persephone soul like ares soul waddaya think??
In the second god of war kratos dies and is saved by the titans in tarterus. Perhaps something similar will happen where kratos is killed killed but is saved by a group of giant souls in helhyme. While killed by Thor at the start Atreus prepares for revenge while the axe is taken to Oden. When kratos gets back to life (because time works different among the realms) Atreus is full grown with rage and raising the spirits like kratos did the titans.
Atreus will be storming ragnorok and kratos will not pick sides just slaughtering his way to Atreus to save his son
Bonus points if fey aids kratos to save there son but because fey is a giant and likely bent on revenge shell (and sadly) be an obstacle to kratos
50k in a year and growing nice man
Just thought of something, the serpent said that Atreus looked familiar (since later on in the game we find out that Atreus is Loki, father of the serpent), but he doesn’t think Kratos looks familiar. Since the serpent has seen ragnarok and doesn’t find Kratos familiar, Kratos could not been around when Ragnarok comes.
I never thought of that, good observation mate
Yeh I literally just thought of it while eating dinner and just thought “holy shit wtf, how did I not think that sooner”
Ragnarok started immediatley as Kratos shook the baldur's head.
No that's not how it started in game or even in real Norse lol were did you get this s info
I did subscribe sir!!
Love your videos.... looking forward for more of em...💯💯❤
Thanks man, glad you like.the content
Hey Kaptain Kuba kratos will not die in ragnarok that person in the mural at 6:10 is odin I have proof of this, when you enter muspheliem for the first time and the open the first mural you see atreus (or brok i dont remember) tells us that its odin and thor together fighting sutrt the fire giant
Written beside the archers is “sinir muspells” “sinir” is not an old Norse word, but is is very similar to “synir” the plural for “sonr” which means that this text means “muspells sons” or “sons of muspell”
The bird is odin himself. He shape shifts into a silver hawk
7:06 hahaha somebody just can't accept Kratos will die...
The wall looks like atreus is breathing life in Kratos not making a snake
