That Is a 4.88 indenor . The xd2 has threaded injectors AND faster glow plugs.

It could be a XD2 engine, behind the injection pump is a small oil pipe that lubricates the pump drive. So that's means this engine has a timing chain, the 4.88 engine has timing gears and no small oil pipe behind the injection pump. The first XD2 engine has no treaded injectors

XD2 is imported version of XD with better injectors, glow plugs, etc. The XD3 was an unreliable mess
