Tales isn't complete without any Indignation in it...
I only played 3 out of the many games, and in an instant I recognised it...
When he said "I, who stands bathe in heavenly light"... I'm like... "FUUUCCCCKK, THAT'S INDIGNATION!"
"Nononono! Wait wait wait! WAITWAITWAIT!"

the build-up make Indignation a lot more terrifying despite you can just tank it normally. Alexandrite or not.

1:24 I love the focus on Dohalim’s eyes. Gets me everytime
The fight with Lord Ganabelt, will forever be my favorite implementation of an enemy's Indignation in any tales gamer ever
I was pissed when he cast it because i knew i wouldnt get indignation this game
And I was pissed indignation came so early. Yea, could've worded that better. Still, same feeling xD

I love it how if you beat Kirito first Asuna just totally uses a cheat move to insta kill you because she’s salty.

The protagonists' mystic artes looked and felt really good... the enemies on the other hand... left me wanting... except Ganabelt, he did Indignation in a damn good way!
Maybe it's because the rest felt like a "super" move instead of a "finishing" move.
Dude the way Ganabelt spams indignation like candy as you're rushing to finish him off had me mentally fucked.

true but i still love them cut-ins.
One of my biggest nitpicks on Arise is the lack of cut-in images. Same goes for using the 3d models for skits. Definitely feels like a byproduct of the pandemic in which Arise was developed.

Yo, that Red Hot Burn Strike sounds like a fucking cannon going off. It is so satisfying.
That's exactly why it's my favorite out of the boost strikes. Plus, the animation in general is so fucking cool
For those wondering how you can get 2nd MA for party: You need to max out the bond (social link) stuff in camps. Theres 1 hour of playtime cooldown you need to wait and I believe it's based on your progress in story too
Fyi its not 1 hour as i got done with a gigant zugle and did 2 talks. 1 before and 1 after

That was a fantastic showcase! I love Mass Devastation and Volhran’s water mystic arte. A lot of the attacks are a visual treat. Thank you very much for the video.

Ganabelt has the best enemy one for sure. I felt true fear when he said "I, who stands bathed in heavenly light" and realized what spell he was casting. Then sad because that meant we probably wouldn't get it.
I just love the subtle nods to the older eng dub games. Lightning tiger blade’s reference to Symphonia always gets me.
I love Law's mystic artes so much! I can't wait to unlock his second one it's SO cool!!

I watched other Indignation compilation video cuz I didn't grow up with Tales series
but this Indignation ... not only it takes the cake, it eats the entire bakery. Sure, you can tank it with Alexandrite, but the build-up, man!

Man its always refreshing to see Indignation unleash in Tales games. Such an iconic spell.
I'd still like the anime drawn image and of the characters before the HO. The giant sword reminded me of Shizel's Eternal Finality. Also love when there's a ridiculously long Indignation. XD
Blazing Pillar and Crimson Skies definitely my favorite MAs to pull off.

As amazing as all of it are, my only complaint is that the camera moves so damn much that I can't really tell what's going on sometimes, especially with the heavy extra effects from the magic/elements

I feel the boost strikes with shionne were some of the best, the idea of her just doing all kinds of shit with that gun like enhancing or imbuing her allies attacks with more energy is so cool. I might be biased as well, i love characters with huge rifle/cannon like weapons as well.
My all time favorite boost strike is the Rin-Do special lol
Edna's shooting star is definitely my favourite
0:45 Y’all have no idea how many times I’ve seen this in my 100 hour playthrough
I like most of the boost strikes, especially all of laws, but not a big van of shionne and dohalim, so quite in the beginning.
An enemy chanting the first phrase of the "Indignation" spell can bring fear to any long time fans of the Tales Of series.
I always loved Asuna's angelic chord when ever she goes goddess.
Like how Dohalim's MA as a boss is basically Valkyrie Profile Silmeria's version of Meteor Swarm XD
Love how this game allows you to dodge mystic artes, except if your name is ganabelt

I actually hate though that the Bosses now have Gimmick Mystic Artes instead of cinematic ones. 95% of them are more than anti climatic =(
its to balance the party MA i guess. since they are not OP anymore like some past game. so now the boss MA can be dodged too if you're skilled. (also they start to spam it near the end of the fight is a challenge in higher difficulty to me)
Other than Alphen and Law, I never got to see the other party member's 2nd Mystic Artes while playing the game lol. Rinwell's one looks really good

But I'm 'biased' because I prefer the "original version" of that mystic art, Eternal Finality.

Flame of hope- which transitions into the second version that plays after beating all 5 lords when the boost strikes are shown-, The Riville Prison Tower battle theme and finally the final boss theme.
This game looks amazing, but for some reason I can’t get into it as a Tales game.
Idk why, I love tales games.
It plays a lot differently from pretty much all of them, boss fights especially. Maybe that’s why? Took me some time before it finally clicked, too!
