- How to properly remove and clean a throttle body in a 2.0 PSA, HDI, TDCI or D diesel engine used by Citroen, Peugeot, Ford, Volvo and some other manufacturer as well. In this video I will show you exactly how to clean a throttle body. Cleaning the throttle body is an EASY DIY, and can help with a rough idle, check engine light, even sticking throttle.
Tools and parts needed:

Encouraged by the simplicity that you demonstrated I cleaned the intake (there was a recurring overpressure from the turbo so the map sensor needed to be cleaned).
However I also cleaned the part that goes up, in which the map sensor is situated. That was the only part that actually needed cleaning. It was full of black grease. Alas I could only partly clean it with a cloth.

I'm had a strange blip the other day engine service now came up and my code reader pulled up a turbo underboost issue, car has been fine ever since.just prior to that I had 800 squids worth of work to my dpf done .very strange
how can i relearn?by disconnecting the minus on the battery?
It's done with the diagnostic tool, maybe it can be done by leaving the battery disconnected overnight, but this method worked for some older cars.
So surrounding of my throttle body is greasy and has oil even on plastic cover....also when I accelerate over 2.5 rpm i can hear "woooosh" not whine, sound similar to sucking air. Could it be cloged throttle body or it was loose? Or it is something else like punctured hose? 2.0 tdci C-max 2015

Sounds like a broken or cracked pipe.
Check the intercooler pipes and try to clean the egr valve as well.

@@martinmangik Yes I did. It was just a gasket which you can see on video at 3:54 and later on... I bought it new at Ford Dealership for 5€.
Just type on internet Ford 2.0 tdci throttle body gasket and it should be round and green. I hope it helps because "whooosing" sound can cause lot of things from broken pipe,lose hoses or in my case 5€ gasket :)
Is the throttle body supposed to be open?
You can open it but be careful there is a spring inside.
