Something that worries me is that while bungie did say that prismatic is fundamentally overpowered in the same sentence as the 15% ability regen nerf, I dont know if you could trust bungie to actually rework a DLC subclass in the way it needs to, hopefully something simple like just changing the available aspects would suffice, but again, bungie may not approve and say something like its changing content that customers already purchased, despite that "rule" being broken many times before, as well as the effect on pve. also closing time lone wolf was such needless and cheap fuel to the fire that I can't imagine the embarrassing failure of the "pvp striketeam" would be able to produce something sensible in Destiny Frontiers.
I think the pvp strike team was given the same kind of "short notice" that the map pack team got when prismatic was given form. I think had they been given time to properly test interactions as they needed to be tested, i think it might not have been this oppressive. But this situation also heavily falls back on players as well, as we, over time, have given the strike team no end of gripes as far as new experimentation for balancing options. I still think the initial version of checkmate where bungie hard hit everything was the best version we had, but i doubt most of the player base (that continues to dwindle since checkmate left) would agree
@@HonoredD2 I agree about the initial rollout of checkmate, that's why I think the directionless and poorly rationalized rollback of checkmate reflects poorly on the team as it appears to me their vision of the game, if they have one, sucks. I hope you're right, though its hard to believe so given they want to raise the bar on primary weapons to the level of these egregious outliers that have plagued the sandbox for in some cases years. I hope there is a period of time long enough without something insane like prismatic being added that Bungie and the pvp players can align on something again, and that pvp doesn't just suck for 2 years before they get the analytics needed to motivate them to make changes.
We can only hope for a Homerun sandbox update with Ep3 at this point. If that falls flat, I think it's time to pack up and leave. At least until someone with a clear, concise vision takes charge
I can only hope to keep putting out content that everyone enjoys, but notes like this are definitely cool to get as I never knew things like this could be figured out
@slingshotnerd I'm pretty sure it hasn't been nerfed, but I could be wrong. My guess is that it's based on how far you dive and where your health is to begin with. That way, you can't OG wormhusk a situation that you should lose.
@jaharifaulkner4011 I can't say. It's a very easy weapon to use, so it might just need a few more games to warm up. Also, aim for the health bar, not for the head. It's more likely to register that way
The soundtrack
There's something about the old 2d Metroid soundtracks that hasn't been repeated since
Glad to have you back :)
@@CrankyPanky glad to be back! Although I may not go back to daily uploads for a while so I can get back into it first

Doesn't mean much but I'm a top .1% viewer of yours. I feel special

Clean as always. Beautiful gameplay. Hope you are doing well brother. Stay safe.
Much appreciate the kind words. I'm doing well, no road closers and no other immediate weather phenomena in near sight.
Nah, not "moral" enough. There's not enough unnecessary movement/snap-canceling.
Ahhh, you're right! I forgot the exaggerated movements
Am I tripping or did they nerf how much health phoenix dive gives you in PvP?

@ I think it’s because they increased how much HP guardians have in PvP not so long ago without updating how much health cure heals you by.
How come my hawkmoon doesn't do that
